16/01/2025: I went here with my family during the Christmas holidays. The location is excellent if you pass through the Giau pass, the mountain hut can be reached by car or by walking for 10 minutes. Since it was a beautiful day we were able to have lunch on the terrace in front of the Lastoni di Formis, Croda da Lago and Monte Cristallo, a truly spectacular view. The food was really excellent, especially the first courses. Friendly and helpful staff, definitely recommended!

Very friendly and helpful waitress and owner.
I highly recommend it.
Excellent value for money.

18/01/2025: The first thing that struck me was a very pleasant aroma in the hotel and in general it is very cozy, good music is playing, I am picky about cleanliness in hotels and here it is really very clean, it is nice that sweets are included and you can just go down and have a snack, there is a lot of rest area. I also really liked the spa.
Very neat and cozy.
11/01/2025: Top pastry shop, one of the best I've tried. Very high quality pasta. Prices in line with the high quality of the products served, a mandatory stop if you are near Cortina.

12/11/2024: Beautiful refuge, a gem, managers available to satisfy all the needs of hikers, all dishes excellent, very attentive even for those with gluten intolerance problems.
Well done everyone, 6 star rating for the cook and also for the daughter.
08/10/2024: Small refuge, which I define as from times gone by.
Excellent location as a starting point for countless hiking and mountaineering tours.
Excellent food and kind and friendly hosts.

11/01/2025: Locale molto bello e arredato in modo "caldo". Scelta di piatti limitata ma abbiamo preso pasta e fagioli e tortellini col plin ed erano ottimi. Per secondo filetto al pepe verde...fantastico. Anche i dolci molto buoni. Personalmente aggiungerei qualche antipasto...e il servizio, seppur molto professionale è risultato un pochino freddino...i ragazzi in sala bravi ma un po' "ingessati"...qualche parola o sorriso in più non guasta. Nel complesso una buona esperienza

15/10/2024: This review is strictly for organization/helpful service. We went here and it was packed so we didn’t actually get a chance to eat here. We walked in and they were clearly busy. Tried to ask how long the wait was, we were told “I don’t know”. Other people walked in after us and were seated. I asked if I could put a name down and was told to hold on while more people were helped and given numbers who came in after us

04/01/2025: An hour and 20 minutes for the first, which were dumplings frozen inside. The second arrived faster: quite good venison, insignificant polenta and hard potatoes (but they offered them to us since they were not the two portions we had asked for). €9.50 final discount but I would have preferred to eat on time and well. The only one who survives is the guy who serves, he's nice. For the rest we understood why it was the only restaurant in the area that still had room this evening.

Ambiente familiare.
Nel periodo estivo ampio terrazzo.
Posizione strategica in pieno centro ma fuori dal traffico in quanto si trova al primo piano del “centro commerciale”
Ampio parcheggio nelle vicinanze.

Ultimately if you don’t speak Italian the lady with the short hair behind the till will throw the menu at you and shrug her shoulders.
I totally understand we’re in Italy as stated before by the owner on Google reviews, HOWEVER you have a pizzeria in a very tourist area where the common language is going to be English. So it’s completely unnecessary to be SO rude to customers who are giving you money.
04/09/2024: Einfaches, italienisch authentisches Lokal, mit sehr leckerer und üppig belegter, grosser Pizza und dünnem Pizzaboden - so wie sie sein muss. Und das bei echt günstigen Preisen. Gern wieder!
