10/01/2025: Returning from Cortina and the boys, I ate some strudel, but I still missed something sublime and light like this. Prices accessible to all and more than rare quality. I even ordered 5 to bring to friends and family.
30/12/2024: I have a house in Cortina for 15 years now but I drive all the way here for the best coffee ever, Illy. Always at the bar so its nice and hot coff…
Cortina supposed to be a fancy place but they can learn from this place how to make the best coffee and provide service . I stopped here because they sell Illy years ago. In Cortina two places with Illy but not as good as this place. Already after one time they remembered me as the lady who orders hot cappuccino with double shot coffee!
Brava to the lady and gentleman making the coffee here!

12/11/2024: Beautiful refuge, a gem, managers available to satisfy all the needs of hikers, all dishes excellent, very attentive even for those with gluten intolerance problems.
Well done everyone, 6 star rating for the cook and also for the daughter.
08/10/2024: Small refuge, which I define as from times gone by.
Excellent location as a starting point for countless hiking and mountaineering tours.
Excellent food and kind and friendly hosts.

11/01/2025: Locale molto bello e arredato in modo "caldo". Scelta di piatti limitata ma abbiamo preso pasta e fagioli e tortellini col plin ed erano ottimi. Per secondo filetto al pepe verde...fantastico. Anche i dolci molto buoni. Personalmente aggiungerei qualche antipasto...e il servizio, seppur molto professionale è risultato un pochino freddino...i ragazzi in sala bravi ma un po' "ingessati"...qualche parola o sorriso in più non guasta. Nel complesso una buona esperienza
02/01/2025: Consiglio attentamente di leggere il menù prima di andare perché anche se tutto ottimo, non hanno tantissimi piatti (buoni ma pochi) e so che questo potrebbe essere un problema per alcuni. La fonduta molto buona e tutti i piatti presentati bene. Poca varietà di birra e per me questo è un po' una pecca.
Vicino c'è un laghetto che permette di fare due passi post pranzo.

29/12/2024: Christmas period. Practically the only place in the country where you can have a good hot chocolate after a day spent outdoors. Very young and very kind staff. Moderate and reasonable prices.

09/11/2024: I have been there several times years ago.....the last time with my parents who are no longer here.....place it forever in my heart...I always had a great time....

15/10/2024: This review is strictly for organization/helpful service. We went here and it was packed so we didn’t actually get a chance to eat here. We walked in and they were clearly busy. Tried to ask how long the wait was, we were told “I don’t know”. Other people walked in after us and were seated. I asked if I could put a name down and was told to hold on while more people were helped and given numbers who came in after us

Ambiente familiare.
Nel periodo estivo ampio terrazzo.
Posizione strategica in pieno centro ma fuori dal traffico in quanto si trova al primo piano del “centro commerciale”
Ampio parcheggio nelle vicinanze.

30/11/2024: A little hidden and out of the centre, this cozy environment proved to be worthy of a good dinner with friends. It has about fifty seats. The food, cooked and presented perfectly, is very good, we ate local products with venison and mushrooms, a delicious cut and a sublime tiramisu. The presence of the waiters is excellent, attentive to the needs of the diners and always friendly. The wines offered are also good.

26/08/2024: Ho avuto il piacere di essere ospite del ristorante nel suggestivo rifugio Larin per cena. La vista del maestoso Antelao già di per sé merita la visita. Caldo e accogliente, il rifugio offre un menù tipico, ricco di proposte gustose preparate con ingredienti selezionati e di pregio: dalla zuppa del giorno ai funghi fritti ad un gulash sapientemente preparato. Non da meno i dessert fra i quali mi sento di consigliare il sorbetto di uva fragola. Personale accogliente e cordiale che contribuisce a rendere l'atmosfera familiare e intima, perfetta per una serata fra amici.

Menù vario e con diversi piatti sfiziosi fuori carta.. stasera ad esempio I canederli di rape rosse su fonduta di rafano e gorgonzola e la "fettona" di porchetta su misticanza e funghi finferli caldi...sublimi...!!! per non parlare delle fettuccine alla cipolla con pane nero croccante ... (in menù..).
Una buona carta dei vini, con un più che dignitoso Cabernet Sauvignon in mescita...
Personale cortese ed affabile, prezzi onesti..!!

Ultimately if you don’t speak Italian the lady with the short hair behind the till will throw the menu at you and shrug her shoulders.
I totally understand we’re in Italy as stated before by the owner on Google reviews, HOWEVER you have a pizzeria in a very tourist area where the common language is going to be English. So it’s completely unnecessary to be SO rude to customers who are giving you money.
04/09/2024: Einfaches, italienisch authentisches Lokal, mit sehr leckerer und üppig belegter, grosser Pizza und dünnem Pizzaboden - so wie sie sein muss. Und das bei echt günstigen Preisen. Gern wieder!
