20/12/2024: Memorable evening. One of the best services of the year. Lots of care and delicious food.

02/11/2024: My husband and I had the absolute best time here while celebrating our honeymoon. We loved how quaint/simple/rustic it was. The service was outstanding, everyone was so nice and they worked so well together. We did the Germoglio tasting with a wine pairing for me and non alcoholic for my husband. We both loved how he got to enjoy the stories and tastes of some very unique drinks which hasn't been the case at other restaurants we've enjoyed. We loved almost all of the dishes (but I wouldn't count any stars off just because a dish wasn't our favorite). The BUTTER, we couldn't get enough! We got to go to the cheese room which was an entire experience all on its own. Really not sure how people say they left hungry, we certainly didn't. The only regret I had was not being there before the sun went down so we could have enjoyed the beauty more. Thank you for some great memories!!

18/12/2024: They're really friendly here, and if you choose the Asian-friendly pizza on display, they'll heat it up twice for you. Eat a lot of artichokes

14/12/2024: During our stay in Cortina we ordered take-away pizza twice from this pizzeria and we are really satisfied! Super friendly staff, fast service, light and good pizza; I wasn't even able to take a photo because both times we ate it straight away😂 Great for when you're too exhausted after skiing and need a recharge!

05/10/2024: Great location, very quiet and yet close to downtown Cortina We stayed one night in a triple room and it was SO CLEAN and everything seemed new/renovated Breakfast was great with lots of options The price was very fair and reasonable, AND there's an elevator!! I wish we stayed here one more night!

17/01/2025: I stopped for a break and couldn't try any dish on the menu. The place is nothing short of beautiful, small but welcoming. I was welcomed by the guys who run the refuge who immediately made me feel at ease. I tasted some truly special mulled wine and paid a very honest 4.50 euros. From the menu I was able to read about very interesting dishes (at fair prices). I will definitely have the opportunity to return. Compliments.

26/12/2024: We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. While the food and location were great, the service was terrible. Two of the waiters—a man and a middle-aged woman—were completely unprofessional. They were grabbing our plates before we were finished eating and when we politely asked about missing drinks, they would to talk back. It's a shame because the food was good, but the staff's behavior ruined the experience.

31/12/2024: The restaurant is very elegant and refined, in perfect style of the place in which it is located. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the level does not seem to live up to the restaurant's claims and its prices. We consumed the tasting menu which simply consisted of an appetizer, a first course, a second course and a dessert from those on the à la carte menu. We didn't like at all that one of the two starters (soft egg) was served with a broken yolk (see photo)! Both were also served too cold. The first course (lamb tortelli with mountain pesto) was really excellent! As well as dessert. What most caused the restaurant to lose its level was the long wait for the second course (deer with Giau hay): we were only served when the other tables who had ordered it had also been served the deer. I understand the needs of the kitchen but I find it unacceptable to wait so long between courses in a restaurant with these demands. Top location.

25/12/2024: One of the best dinners! Well-kept and cuddly environment, breathtaking location. Attentive, smiling and precise staff immediately puts you at ease. Each course left its mark, simple but at the same time refined. All ingredients were of the highest quality. The dessert, creme caramel with soft meringues and frozen raspberry, is one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. Super recommended ♥️

08/01/2025: Lovely place with traditional Alpine design and local food. Very cozy. I recommend sitting next to the furnace which nicely warms you up. All of the food was delicious - beef cheek, sliced beef, venison and a nice selection on the cutting board. We were alone there so the waiter was nicely taking care of us. He was professional with his attitude and handling our requests.

31/10/2024: Best take away pizza I have ever had. A bit expensive but worth every cent.

30/10/2024: The pizza was good, however the food handling is terrible, I seen the guy who serves the pizza smoking and picking his nose with the gloves on, after that he continued serving other customers food without changing the gloves. They need to be more hygienic

13/12/2024: Location stupenda servizio fin troppo veloce. Prima arrivano i piatti e poi posate e tovaglioli dopo averli richiesti ripetutamente. Piatti decisamente sotto la sufficienza, con würstel anemici di scarsissima qualità e cotolette affogate nell olio. Prezzi alti. Decisamente non consigliato.

13/12/2024: The experience in this place is limited to contacting my partner via WhatsApp for a "Christmas" reservation. Initially we are told that the lunch is sold out... but then, a twist! In the next message, he writes: well, however, now that I have seen the profile photo (in costume) I could find a free position.. I would say of little professionalism but a lot of squalor..

24/12/2024: Visiting Cortina from the United States during holiday season with the family. The staff provided excellent service with exemplary hospitality. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Italy, I definitely recommend the local specialty of stewed deer.
