07/04/2024: Really horrible service. I don't often write reviews but today's experience was particularly unpleasant. I knew the restaurant, going there often with my company in recent years. Unfortunately this evening I was able to discover that the restaurant does not accept slightly more "modest" dinners. Inviting a friend, we wanted to have a small dinner before heading to our destination, but since they understood that we were not there for a big banquet, we were treated like absolutely unwanted guests. Our decision not to drink alcohol was taken as an offense by the waiter Stefano and from that moment on they practically threw our plates on the table, took away everything the second we finished eating and brought us the receipt to the table without us knowing it. 'we had requested. They basically wanted us to eat and leave as quickly as possible. We have never felt so uncomfortable as today in Vecia Cavana and we will never return. I will stop recommending Vecia Cavana to my customers. It's a shame, but if you don't seem ready to spend a large sum you will be treated very badly!

31/03/2024: An amazing stay if you want a unique experience away from the centre of Venice. Located on the neighbouring island of Lido, it’s a 20-30 min boat ride from San Marco and a 35 min ride from Tronchetto. The property has a great view of the waters and offers a peaceful experience. They arranged a complimentary taxi ride to Murano island, which was great, since it takes quite a bit of effort and time to get there through public transport (boat). Overall, I am glad I picked this stay for my second visit to Venice. Definitely made the experience a bit different and worthy of sharing.

06/04/2024: Great food, phenomenal pizza. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice environment. We went midweek, too many people at the weekend. The only flaw: little parking. I highly recommend

29/03/2024: Tiny mozzarella sticks full of oil with almost no ham inside, then at 8pm (from 7.20pm) they rudely brushed us off because they needed the table for dinner but we weren't in the area where all the tables were set so, depending on the demand, they kicked people out to free up tables in any area of ​​the place. Bad thing... I will never go back there again.

07/04/2024: A nice suburban pub, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Beautiful music (with a band that made 60s beats), engaging and full of energy. Great food and beer. - Average prices. Friendly staff ready to satisfy everyone's needs, even though the place was full.

02/04/2024: We really enjoyed the food, service and family casual atmosphere. We appreciated everything so much, that we returned a number of evenings to have dinner, while we were visiting the area. *This restaurant is able & willing to accommodate food sensitivities.

06/04/2024: A beautiful address in Venice at a reasonable price. Reservation required, it’s full which bodes well. Very good meal, no forcing on consumption. Attentive and smiling service. In short, a good time. We took the pasta specialties only downside not having time to drink the aperitif served too quickly but the Spritz goes with everything and we had time to savor our wine afterwards.

29/02/2024: Horrible experience. We were in Venice and we didn't have a hotel, so we decided to get a coffee to use the bathroom and change our clothes. When we left the bathroom, my partner sat down to put on makeup (since there were more people in the bathroom waiting), when suddenly the owner started yelling at us hysterically in front of everyone saying that it was bothering her clients to see her putting on makeup (there was 1 client). DON'T GO HERE

07/04/2024: I was born in 1965, I have never felt obliged to write a review for better or for worse in any restaurant, but in this case I feel like doing so. I'll start by saying that it's not the first time I've gone to eat in a vegan restaurant, but spending €14 for a bean "burger" with a 15 gram slice of bread and boiled courgettes seems really exaggerated and unacceptable, also considering the taste. mediocre raw material I find it truly scandalous.

19/01/2024: Buzzing atmosphere on the pavements, with some seating around the stand and heating. Sat watching the world go by drinking hot chocolate and hot sangria. Very friendly server.

03/04/2024: overrated for food quality, although, waiter is respectful. Baked potatoes were probably baked in the morning, the chicken was probably reheated over oil. Bread is dry.
