22/08/2024: Wonderful café with a great view of the Prato della Valle. We had ice coffees and an Aperol Spritz and really enjoyed both! The service was great, even though we accidentally showed up 30 minutes before closing time 😅

02/07/2024: I went to this nice place for breakfast. I have to say that the brioche was very good. The only flaw is the blonde waitress at the counter who is quite irritating. It's a shame because I really liked the place.

22/01/2024: Excellent place for a lunch break. Every day new proposals for delicious and balanced first and second courses (also vegetarian options), as well as salads or sandwiches/toasts. The inevitable dessert at the end of lunch is also excellent.

04/01/2024: I often go to Intermezzo for my lunch break and every time I return to work satisfied. Good choice of dishes, I recommend the first courses for which I am pleasantly surprised every time. And at the end of the meal you can't give up an excellent dessert A bit chaotic environment but being a destination for many workers you can't expect more (and the fact that it is very popular is a good sign 😃)

30/07/2024: The best dough in the area without a doubt. The cooking is amazing and adaptable to the customer's needs. The owner Walter is a true master and the historic staff doesn't miss a beat.

26/08/2024: The Estense pastry shop is one of those that makes the "history" of Padua. The products are excellent, I often stop for a coffee with a pastry and I am never disappointed. In my personal opinion, it should be refreshed a bit, both from the point of view of the place (a little vintage, with 2 counters and little seating space) and the confectionery offerings. However, it remains a point of reference.

30/06/2024: The review is based on multiple experiences at this pastry shop. I found the brioches several times hard and old, probably from the day before. They put them in plain sight and cover them with fruit, cream, chocolate or other things just to embellish them and entice the customer to buy them, but they are inedible. When it was pointed out that a brioche was really hard, we didn't even get an apology, absolutely no reaction, just indifference. The first time I was sold an old brioche here I thought it was an isolated case, but after the umpteenth occasion I am convinced that it is a constant! KEEP AWAY

08/06/2024: Without a doubt the best gluten-free pizza in Padua and surrounding areas! Absolutely recommended for those with allergies or intolerances. Different dough from all the other gluten-free pizzerias, really tasty, soft, fantastic!

21/02/2024: Mi dispiace per i titolari e lo staff in generale perché sono davvero gentili e simpatici, ma non posso trattenermi nel fare una recensione negativa. La materia prima non è decisamente fresca, i sapori sono poco piacevoli e a fatica finisci il piatto. Inoltre non è giustificato un prezzo così alto soprattutto per i piatti poveri fatti principalmente da patate o verdure. Nota aggiuntiva: se nel menu c'è scritto "tonno" mi aspetto il tonno fresco cotto non di certo il tonno in scatola! In tal caso sarebbe da specificare, sicuramente non avrei ordinato un piatto da circa 20€ fatto da tonno in scatola e patate!

16/03/2024: Nice place, well looked after, located in the historic center (impossible to access by car). ATTENTION, THE MENUS UPLOADED ON GOOGLE MAPS ARE OBSOLETE! FOR EXAMPLE THEY NO LONGER MAKE GLUTEN FREE DOUGH OR CREAMED BACCALA! I was a little taken aback by the news because I had relied on the information found here in the previous comments. It must be said that the waiter was understanding and allowed me to order the porcini risotto even though it was indicated for a minimum of two people. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, the cooking was just right and the creaming was successful... However, I detected an excess of pepper which covered the flavor of the mushrooms... Too bad! And I say this as a lover of peppery dishes! Overall, acceptable value for money (considering the location).
