18/03/2026: A good place for a short break from driving for tea or another drink. The food is poor, everything is prepared days in advance and reheated.

17/02/2026: I can say the service was equal to 0, as was the kindness and the approach, or bothering to say "good evening, what would you like?" not even a bit of passion but at least the pizza was good, it would have been nicer to say "what time do you want it" and not "it's ready in 15 minutes or in 5 minutes..." but overall it was good

07/11/2025: 3 stars for the food only because of the lack of Prosecco or sparkling wine for a properly prepared aperitif before dinner, which by the way is good, very good... without pretending to be excellent to the eye, but one bite is enough to discover that it is well above the average pizzeria... I repeat, if only they had sparkling wine or Prosecco, it would be 4 stars.... What can I say about the staff? Friendly and very welcoming... The place is not very big, but in the summer there is a large terrace that significantly enlarges the tables.

06/02/2026: We stopped in by chance, and the outside looks like a run-down, anonymous village bar, but the interior is pleasant and the pizzeria is comfortable. The pizza is truly excellent, well-cooked and easy to digest! The staff are friendly and welcoming, open for lunch, and there's convenient parking outside.

06/06/2026: I travel in a campervan. I wanted to reserve a spot at this campsite. I was refused a spot for my car and tent because "we can't accept people sleeping in their cars." I was also refused a spot for a van and a campervan because "sorry, Dacia, it's a car." This is the first time this has ever happened to me... I've never seen or heard of it anywhere else. At first, I thought it was a joke, but I'm still looking for hidden cameras...

20/12/2025: I went to the bar, we ordered a coffee and a zero-sugar Coke. They brought us the Coke in a glass but without the cap. I didn't notice at first, but we started drinking and I realized there was something strange about the Coke. I checked the information on the bottle and it was a regular Coke, not zero! I told the girl at the bar that they had the wrong Coke and that I had ordered a Coke zero. They said they were sorry and wouldn't change it because it had already been used. In my opinion, if you bring me the wrong drink, you should change it! They didn't change it, and on top of that, they charged me for the drink I hadn't ordered!

04/05/2026: We stayed at this hotel last weekend on our motorcycle and had a really good time. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The furnishings were basic, but it was fine for the two nights we stayed. The breakfast was a generous buffet, the waiters were very attentive, and the receptionist was very kind and helpful. We recommend it.

03/05/2026: A 2-star hotel in a good location, with photos on Booking.com that were completely unrealistic... the basic, fairly clean room included towels and good heating. However, many things were damaged: the sink had a very visible crack, the shower stall was in pieces, making it difficult to open and close, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and the paint was peeling. There was often no one at reception to report these issues, and there wasn't even a phone in the room to contact reception if needed. A terrible experience for the price paid. I recommend staying elsewhere; it will definitely be better.

29/10/2025: My little boy was admitted to Santa Chiara hospital around the corner. You can imagine what hospital food may look like… so we often ended up coming to Pizza Planet for a meal. Pizzas were excellent and reasonably priced. It was lovely to find “safe” food in a rather messy situation we were at.

05/04/2026: We stayed at this hotel for two nights in April, around Easter, as a base for a day at the spa. We booked and only read the reviews on Google, which made us a little worried, even though the reviews on other aggregator sites weren't that bad. Indeed, we have no regrets. We booked on a breakfast-only basis (so we can't comment on dinners). The hotel is clean and tidy, and looks good both from the outside and in the rooms. Our room was small but had all the essentials in place, spotlessly clean, and the entire hotel appears recently renovated, with new fixtures and furnishings and thoughtful details, including the bathroom. The bar service was used for aperitifs (with direct debit to your room), in a well-stocked bar and at very fair prices. Breakfast was typical hotel fare, with sweet and savory options. The cakes were perhaps packaged but of good quality, while the croissants seemed fresh from the oven and tasty. There was also an excellent selection of cereals, yogurt, fruit, and juices, and even a variety of savory options. Coffee and hot drinks were made by an automatic machine, but it did make me a decidedly excellent cappuccino, so I had that both mornings. The location, just a few minutes' walk from the spa, was perfect for us. Granted, the staff didn't seem particularly welcoming at first glance, but they were all very kind and helpful with all our requests. Parking was a bit tricky at times, but then again, it's a hotel in the historic center of town. I didn't expect anything less, and I always parked on the premises anyway. If we really wanted to find a flaw, the pillows were typical hotel pillows—low and soft. I personally needed two to sleep well. We didn't use the indoor pool or ski room because we didn't have the opportunity/need to. I personally recommend it; it doesn't reflect the negative reviews I've read here at all. In fact, for the price we paid, the stay was perfectly in line with our expectations. We'll consider returning, perhaps at a different time.

04/04/2026: If your plan is to stay to go to the spa, the location is perfect, just a five-minute walk away. The reception staff is friendly, but the breakfast staff is a bit less so, clearing away your plate while you're still eating. Speaking of the rooms, they're clean, but really poorly maintained. The toilet was cracked, the plastic windowsill was broken, and the worst thing, in my opinion, was the lack of soundproofing. With the headboard against the wall, I could even hear my neighbor plugging in his phone, not to mention the sound of footsteps. Fortunately, since we only moved the car a short distance, we didn't have much trouble finding parking, but there are very few spaces.

11/04/2026: A truly awful experience. The sushi was of embarrassingly low quality: overcooked and sticky rice, fish that smelled anything but fresh, and flavors that were completely unbalanced. Some pieces were practically inedible. The presentation also left much to be desired, with dishes sloppily assembled. Slow and disorganized service, with inattentive and unhelpful staff. Considering the price, it was a total disappointment. I strongly advise against it.
