01/11/2025: The food was flawless, absolutely delicious! We ordered chicken biryani, tikka masala, and butter chicken, and they were all yummy! But the biryani was something else entirely! 😮‍💨😮‍💨🤍

13/04/2026: Exceptional in EVERYTHING!!! Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, extensive and EXCELLENT menu, fair value. We'll definitely be back, the problem is finding a table; it's always full... I want to go back during the day, and maybe in the summer to admire the view below. We returned today, March 28, 2025. The management has changed, but my opinion is even more positive; the quality has risen!!!! For example, the very extensive and high-quality wine list!!!! We'll be back as soon as we can. Try it and believe it!!!!!

A word to the wise: he's a big fan of French wines, so if you're passing through Burgundy before coming here, don't hesitate to slip him a good bottle; he'll appreciate it!

04/12/2025: When we travel the Brenner Pass, we pass through it whenever possible. Just minutes from the Bressanone exit. Rustic beauty, both inside and out. Everything we've tried ranges from very good to excellent. A must-try, when available, is the chestnut soup: it's a magical potion that transports you back in time (in fact, it's much richer and tastier today than it was 190 years ago). My only regret: I've never found mushrooms.

02/12/2025: An absolutely positive experience. We started with a platter: the menu says it's for one person, but it was really generous, so two of us ate easily. Then I finally got to try the famous dumplings with sauerkraut (I highly recommend the spinach ones). I finished with soup, but given the amount of food on the platter, I could have done without it. Very friendly staff. Recommendation

05/04/2026: Spectacularly rude service. The waiter was rude, argumentative and gave us an impression that he wanted to start a fight by insulting my wife on multiple occasions. He was talking to himself when clearing an empty table next to us. He was making unsolicited comments about some of our half eaten plates. No idea how this place has such a high rating on Google. Perhaps we were just very unlucky with our waiter and the rest of the staff are doing a professional job.

02/12/2025: EXCELLENT TASTING MENUS - EXCELLENT SERVICE ☺️ We tried a meat and a fish tasting menu, both excellent, but if we really had to give it an extra star, the fish one wins ☺️ The quality-price ratio is, in our opinion, very good and the portions are certainly satisfying. The service was also excellent, both in terms of welcome and table management. Special thanks to Mr. Claudio, truly professional and at the same time empathetic, able to put customers at ease and involve them in the culinary experience offered by the restaurant. The ambiance was our least satisfied; not knowing the restaurant when booking, we didn't express a preference and ended up in the first-floor room, which is completely different from the one on the ground floor. The first-floor room has dark colors and the lighting is too soft, which makes it difficult to appreciate the colors of the dishes. Even a small table lamp would have been enough and everything would have been improved (I don't understand why only the table next to ours had one), atmosphere, and lighting of the dishes. Good wine list 👍 Please note, the restaurant closes for seasonal rest from mid-October to December 😉

02/11/2025: We stumbled upon this little restaurant by chance, and it immediately inspired us from the outside. Upon entering, the atmosphere is welcoming, as is the service that follows. The cuisine is top-notch, surprising the palate with every bite. A very pleasant evening that we can't wait to repeat. 25/04/2026: Everything is very stylish. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Schenna. The view of Dorf Tirol and the Vinschgau Valley is phenomenal. The adjoining restaurant is highly recommended. A stay at this historic hotel is very pleasant.

24/04/2026: A pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere and superb cuisine! Always worth a visit! Update from April 2026: We were there again. What can I say? The recent renovations are a complete success. The house offers even more opportunities to feel comfortable. The inviting terrace is simply perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend the newly offered sound bowl massage! Many thanks to Manuela for that!
