11/01/2026: I've never given 5 stars 🤩 It's worth it! The location, the harmony of flavors, the friendliness, the quality...definitely. This place is meticulously maintained. In the women's bathroom, there's hairspray, hand cream, sanitary napkins, and panty liners. The only downside is that I'd have to leave sooner or later.

07/02/2026: Lodging in a B&B you have to look for a place to eat at night every day. Selva is loaded with pizzeria-restaurants and I save my review for the most pleasant one we encountered. Especially atmosphere and staff made the day. We had good bruschetta, nice mezzalune and acceptable fettuccini. There is a surprisingly long wine list. Reservation necessary!

29/01/2026: Probably the best pizzeria in Wolkenstein. Great food, great service, etc. Since the drinks were served a little late, the owner offered us two excellent grappas. We'll be back.

02/12/2025: EXCELLENT TASTING MENUS - EXCELLENT SERVICE ☺️ We tried a meat and a fish tasting menu, both excellent, but if we really had to give it an extra star, the fish one wins ☺️ The quality-price ratio is, in our opinion, very good and the portions are certainly satisfying. The service was also excellent, both in terms of welcome and table management. Special thanks to Mr. Claudio, truly professional and at the same time empathetic, able to put customers at ease and involve them in the culinary experience offered by the restaurant. The ambiance was our least satisfied; not knowing the restaurant when booking, we didn't express a preference and ended up in the first-floor room, which is completely different from the one on the ground floor. The first-floor room has dark colors and the lighting is too soft, which makes it difficult to appreciate the colors of the dishes. Even a small table lamp would have been enough and everything would have been improved (I don't understand why only the table next to ours had one), atmosphere, and lighting of the dishes. Good wine list 👍 Please note, the restaurant closes for seasonal rest from mid-October to December 😉

02/11/2025: We stumbled upon this little restaurant by chance, and it immediately inspired us from the outside. Upon entering, the atmosphere is welcoming, as is the service that follows. The cuisine is top-notch, surprising the palate with every bite. A very pleasant evening that we can't wait to repeat. 01/03/2026: An enviable location, a beautiful terrace overlooking the Fiscalina Valley and Croda Rossa di Sesto. A typical restaurant, not particularly well-kept (a tablecloth would have graced the bare table), with a strong cooking smell that will follow you home. Local cuisine, but poorly prepared recipes, and dishes that seem to have come from a company cafeteria rather than a mountain farm. Food is cooked without any grace, thrown on the plate with ingredients that seem purchased and processed (poorly) with the goal of maximizing margins rather than offering a traditional culinary experience. The price, at this point, is excessive for the poor quality served. Perhaps try again in the summer on the terrace to admire the view and avoid getting your clothes dirty. The table service is friendly and fast.

01/03/2026: We stopped at the Froneben Inn on a ski day because of an advertising sign on the slope. The access road was a bit out of the way, but it was worth the detour. We had homemade linguine with venison ragout and a side salad. We also had half a liter of Prosecco and water. The service was very attentive and friendly. Definitely worth a stop!

08/03/2026: For many years, if we work near Vadena, Bronzolo, Caldaro, or Magrè, we can't help but go to them. The quality of their dishes has never changed. There have been changes in some staff members, due to pre- and post-COVID regulations, but the food is always a guarantee. Well done!!!

03/03/2026: A must-see on the way back from a skiing holiday. The food is excellent, plentiful, and reasonably priced! On weekends, you'll need to be patient due to long lines, but the well-organized staff keeps the wait to a minimum.

09/03/2026: The above-average prices correspond to above-average dishes (hard to replicate for less). A small, very welcome and tasty culinary gift at the opening. The atmosphere is familiar but very courteous. In short... Bravo! Note: Some reproductions on the walls are completely inappropriate for either the place or the moment.

09/02/2026: Delicious goulash, quick service. A bit small, but with beautiful views. A good place to grab lunch on the slopes and warm up on a cold day. Outdoor seating is also available.

07/03/2026: A great find! The location in a beautiful stone house is beautiful. The room where we dined felt like a tastefully decorated cave! The dinner was excellent, with great attention to detail! The wine cellar was also top-notch! We'll definitely be back! Friendly and professional staff!

13/02/2026: Classy experience at La Berlera for a cozy dinner. The dishes were much creative, though, keeping the essence and tradition of the flavours from the region. My favourite course was the potato cake with local sausage, it was perfectly contrasted by a little of caramel and pieces of fig. A whole experience. They say most of people order many dishes but I found them perfectly filling, and the prices are really fair relative to the quality of each dish. Besides that, they always have options out of the menu, and they are as creative and tasty as the usual ones. I think the desserts are a bit more traditional and not so complex, but delicious. The waitresses were very nice, patient and thoughtful. They would always refill our glasses every time we would run out of water, the plates were beautiful and warm. They also spoke in English very well and described the dishes perfectly. Even though the location is not in the town center, it's completely worth it to visit!

04/12/2025: When we travel the Brenner Pass, we pass through it whenever possible. Just minutes from the Bressanone exit. Rustic beauty, both inside and out. Everything we've tried ranges from very good to excellent. A must-try, when available, is the chestnut soup: it's a magical potion that transports you back in time (in fact, it's much richer and tastier today than it was 190 years ago). My only regret: I've never found mushrooms.

02/12/2025: An absolutely positive experience. We started with a platter: the menu says it's for one person, but it was really generous, so two of us ate easily. Then I finally got to try the famous dumplings with sauerkraut (I highly recommend the spinach ones). I finished with soup, but given the amount of food on the platter, I could have done without it. Very friendly staff. Recommendation
