05/05/2024: I'm sorry but yesterday we were not at all happy with dinner. Very kind owner and inclined to try to resolve the situation.. but with the tables cleared with wallets in hand, it was a bit too late.. 30 euros for a dinner like this seems a bit excessive to me. (I had a 5 star review of this place but I had to review it), I don't give 1 star so as not to ruin the rating of the place, but last night the vote from all of us would have been that When I return I will update my review. (We took a starter and a second course, the meat was not tender at all, a chewing gum and the chicken strips were decent) Really paltry quantity, 5 trays for 20 people which they immediately brushed away, for me and my other friends we got two strips each and two potatoes... (I'll start by saying that no one came to ask how dinner was going) But we didn't even get up to ask the waiters anything... Let's hope that this unpleasant event doesn't happen again.

06/01/2024: Ho avuto l'occasione di consumare in questo luogo perché sede di un compleanno di un amica. Inutile dire che si è rilevato una delusione annunciata. Porzioni minuscole, pochissima scelta nei cibi e tempi di attesa lunghissimi. Pagato 45 euro a testa un furto per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Il gioco non vale decisamente la candela. Ci sono posti migliori dove andare. Sconsigliato.

24/12/2023: Fabio e tutta la sua famiglia sono ospiti che vanno oltre l'esercizio corretto della professionalità, sono gentili e premurosi e Fabio è un vero e proprio ambasciatore del proprio territorio, un territorio magnifico di un angolo di Toscana ancora un po' appartato. La Locanda fra gli ulivi è un paradiso di relax e bellezza con una colazione straordinaria per freschezza, bontà e genuinità! Davide

07/03/2024: Ottima pasticceria, anche l'arredamento invita alla sosta e allo scambio di opinioni con il personale, veramente gentile. Attraverso le foto esposte, guidati dalla nipote del fondatore, abbiamo ripercorso la storia del locale. Bellissima atmosfera, di altri tempi, lontano dalla calca delle vie solitamente percorse dai turisti, vicino alla chiesa di San Domenico.

09/05/2024: We went without a reservation and with the expectation of being served quickly, because we were late for the theater show🤦🏻. The young lady made us sit right away, she let us choose what we wanted from the menu and after five minutes our table was set and covered, all accompanied by friendliness. Excellent platter for two: a real selection of cured meats, the giardiniera is excellent and the "schiacciata" is sublime. Thanks thanks thanks P.S Perfectly in time for the show. Until next time!

18/11/2023: We stayed for two nights in this beautiful inn, that's what it is, inn, where we had a wonderful time. The service is done by young, very kind and polite people. Excellent internal restaurant. I highly recommend and will definitely return

14/11/2023: Easily accessible place because it is located on the main road that leads to the Camaldoli Hermitage, convenient due to the proximity of free parking (just a short walk away) and......for me it was a real surprise. And located next to another place where they still do dunks and where I have always been but, the Locanda dei Baroni exceeded my expectations by a long shot. The restaurant has a rustic/classic style with a warm and welcoming atmosphere also thanks to those who work there. The staff is very kind, patient and accommodating, always smiling. There are 3 rooms with tables for lunch/snack or dinner... one as soon as you enter, one on a mezzanine (very suggestive) and a room in a room next door, all well kept, cared for and clean. Obviously here it is worth taking the Schiacciata which is crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, not very high, easily digestible and...with plenty of filling as it should be.

24/04/2024: We relied on this family-run restaurant for our wedding day. The outdoor space is beautiful as it is located on a natural terrace overlooking the villages of Valdichiana. Unfortunately, it was raining on the day of our wedding but the beautiful internal rooms allowed the aperitif buffet to be held separately from the dinner which took place on the veranda. Even for cutting the cake we were able to create the right atmosphere in front of the fireplace, which had been lit for the occasion. Lucio's professionalism was impeccable, always available to satisfy our requests. As for the cuisine, one of the best weddings according to our guests!
