03/09/2024: The joys! In fact they are joys for the senses! The very romantic location, along the river in Scicli. High level welcome, kindness of the staff with whom we also had a chat about Scicli, gathering very useful information. Starter with very fresh raw red prawns and sautéed clams, both delicious and delicate.
Followed by two second courses with calamari and squid, both cooked with skill. Expertise on wines too. Price consistent with the quality of the food, the service and the location. We'll be back.

10/11/2024: I asked for the roasted octopus which cost 13 euros and they brought me the crispy octopus which cost 20. But above all it was very chewy and I had difficulty swallowing. I pointed it out and they didn't give me any discounts but only said that it was the first time they had pointed it out. I won't come again
07/11/2024: We went on Tuesday evening and had a great time, the environment was taken care of down to the smallest details and the staff were very kind and the dinner was truly top.. highly recommended

The title for the Sicilians is already a whole program.
The menu, which is a bit like those board games that promise to be exciting, but in the end are resolved with a family game of cards: very short but in such a way that you don't understand if you want to complain or laugh even at the swimsuit test portions. Oh, I didn't mention the flavor! But I haven't forgotten it, I just haven't heard it!
However, a round of applause must be given to the wine. Yes, that was good!
In conclusion, "Ummara" is the kind of place that doesn't do "neither ummura nor scuru", you only pay a lot and for "4minchiate".
03/11/2024: The place is nice, and the location is suggestive. The service was kind and attentive. However, the food was below expectations and the bill was high. Good wine, too bad the wine list was not available (updating).

28/08/2024: we went on the pizza tour, we chose the special one, 20 people will have brought you not even 10 pizzas. drinks galore, not even a bit of dessert per person. Another thing that more than one person felt bad about, I don't recommend it.
19/08/2024: It is not the usual pizzeria, in a former fruit trading shed there is this beautiful place, all in Rock N Roll style, ample parking and spacious seats. Inside the place is well looked after and clean, the spaces are truly immense, the staff are all very young, very polite and professional, the pizza is good, somewhere between a cartwheel and a Roman scrocchiarella. The prices are very average, I recommend.

The owner is very nice and explained how her partner uses the ripest strawberries to achieve the flavour .

29/07/2024: Esperienza veramente deludente. Guai a chiedere una variante sui condimenti delle pizze perché è tutto preparato in anticipo, alla faccia di intolleranze e allergie. Attesa interminabile, durante la quale sono stati serviti tavoli arrivati ben dopo di noi. Tengo a precisare che al nostro arrivo il locale era praticamente vuoto e c'erano non più di cinque o sei persone in fila per l'asporto. Alla nostra richiesta di spiegazioni un cameriere ineducato e arrogante ha tentato di sbugiardarci. Ho lavorato nella ristorazione dieci anni, se hai perso la comanda o ci sono stati problemi rimedi. E infatti quando sono entrata, scocciatissima, dopo un'ora, per pagare birra e acqua, hanno ammesso che era proprio quello che era successo. Ma occhio, perché io vivo a Donnalucata da anni enl quando sento parlottare capisco perfettamente lo sciclitano. Scorretti e poco simpatici. Mai più.
25/07/2024: Sconsiglio, dopo più di un'ora di attesa con il locale quasi vuoto non ci avevano ancora servito l'ordinazione: due pizze. Alla richiesta di spiegazioni il cameriere rispondeva in modo sgarbato. Siamo andati via senza cenare! Consiglio, volete una pizza a Donnalucata andate altrove.
