04/06/2026: A lovely place, friendly and professional staff, and above all, truly exquisite food, with meticulously crafted and unconventional dishes, from appetizer to dessert. A real surprise. Excellent!
26/04/2026: Coming off a pleasant day on April 25th in Donnalucata, my group of friends and I decided to have pizza, having booked dinner in the morning. The location was well-maintained, the staff were welcoming and professional, and the pizzas were aesthetically pleasing. The menu itself is ambitious, and the pricey, though acceptable, is quite high for the final result. My pizza was too burnt on the bottom for my taste, so it was uneatable. I promptly replaced it when time was short.
The chips with their skins were excellent, and the entire table enjoyed them, having eaten them before the pizzas. Overall, I enjoyed the meal, even if it was overpriced. However, this was severely marred by the manager's refusal to offer a free post-dinner liqueur at checkout, with the childish excuse that it was a busy evening and there were a lot of us.
Bad, but it means we'll make other choices next time, hoping for a better experience.

02/04/2026: An informal diner with friendly service, good food and generous portions. Very strategic location near the Church of Santa Maria la Nova where the Gioia (Risen Christ) exits during the exciting Easter celebration (you need to book well in advance though)
25/03/2026: The food is simply exceptional, and the service is excellent. The staff's knowledge of the dishes and their wine pairings is second to none. The place is welcoming, with a truly relaxed atmosphere. A must if you're in Scicli! We'll definitely be back.

28/05/2026: We arrived together with the owner for the evening opening, despite him just starting he kindly offered us a seat and at the table and was very welcoming. The whole service felt like it was custom tailored to our needs and desires. Later on a couple of more tables joined in and the quality of service remained top notch. Not even talking about the quality and taste of the food, it was superb! Herbs are literally harvested behind your back from the pots before being used in the dishes. It was our best dinner in Sicily. Highly recommended.

31/05/2026: I dined at this restaurant with positive expectations and believe it has potential, but there are some aspects that deserve attention.
The general feeling is that the staff is insufficient for the number of customers present: this translates into very long wait times and inconsistent response to requests. The staff, while helpful and courteous, often seem to struggle to provide service with the necessary speed.
The cuisine also seemed inconsistent. Some dishes were well-crafted, tasty, and meticulously prepared, while others fell significantly short of expectations in terms of quality, preparation, or balance of flavors.
Improved service organization and greater consistency in the food offerings could make the overall experience much more satisfying.

09/04/2025: My first granita and brioche of 2025 was an out-of-this-world experience. A beautifully smooth granita limone (€2.50) & brioche (€1.50) slightly warm and soft as marshmallow and delicious; my partner enjoyed a copra piccolo (€2.50) of the finest nocciola di Piedmonte which she said was the best she has ever enjoyed. Warm friendly service in the very heart of Scicli. We sat outside in the sunshine, though the wind was cold, and disposed of our cardboard cups and plates in the giant ice-cream cone bin that both hides the waste and advertises this excellent gelateria. Highly recommended. We have noticed queues outside when we have passed by in the past.
06/11/2024: Siamo stati qui a fine stagione. Il locale è proprio a due passi dalla piazza principale del centro storico. Bancone ben fornito ottima scelta. Preso cocco e ciocolato al latte. Gusto al cocco perfetto non troppo dolce e con un gusto ben marcato. Prezzi economici

29/07/2024: Esperienza veramente deludente. Guai a chiedere una variante sui condimenti delle pizze perché è tutto preparato in anticipo, alla faccia di intolleranze e allergie. Attesa interminabile, durante la quale sono stati serviti tavoli arrivati ben dopo di noi. Tengo a precisare che al nostro arrivo il locale era praticamente vuoto e c'erano non più di cinque o sei persone in fila per l'asporto. Alla nostra richiesta di spiegazioni un cameriere ineducato e arrogante ha tentato di sbugiardarci. Ho lavorato nella ristorazione dieci anni, se hai perso la comanda o ci sono stati problemi rimedi. E infatti quando sono entrata, scocciatissima, dopo un'ora, per pagare birra e acqua, hanno ammesso che era proprio quello che era successo. Ma occhio, perché io vivo a Donnalucata da anni enl quando sento parlottare capisco perfettamente lo sciclitano. Scorretti e poco simpatici. Mai più.
25/07/2024: Sconsiglio, dopo più di un'ora di attesa con il locale quasi vuoto non ci avevano ancora servito l'ordinazione: due pizze. Alla richiesta di spiegazioni il cameriere rispondeva in modo sgarbato. Siamo andati via senza cenare! Consiglio, volete una pizza a Donnalucata andate altrove.

17/11/2024: Rosticceria in un palazzo storico, ha tante specialità di Scicli ma non solo, tutto.buonissimo, i proprietari accoglienti e gentilissimi. Ottimo sia per un pranzo che per una cena.
