11/12/2023: Extremely disappointing meal. Antipasto was poor quality meats and cheeses, greasy fried foods and some limp lettuce. Not the freshness and quality expected.
19/11/2023: Zero for starters. Too much fried food immersed in oil, terrible gateaux, meatballs of who knows what kind of meat and poor quality cured meats. Friendly staff but that's not enough

02/09/2023: For a takeaway place, I can say that they make pizzas much better than many pizzerias despite not having a wood-fired oven.
Congratulations, if I can give some advice, maybe a little more imagination in the menu.
Highly recommended place, well done 😉

06/04/2024: I have just worked as an entertainer at a children's party in this place, my colleagues and I would like to compliment all the dining room staff for their professionalism and kindness, I would like to give a special thank you in particular to Grazia who always has a smile on her face in person she was super helpful for any eventuality without hindering our work... in fact at certain moments she was also an excellent helper of ours.
02/04/2024: I would never go back...the pizza was completely empty, badly cooked, ergo raw. Calling it pizza is a compliment, the mozzarella was missing, everything was missing, and very expensive!!!! 12 euros for an empty pizza!!! it's not worth 2, then they snatch your plate as soon as you've finished and this already annoys me.. .and finally the bill!!!! 2 pizzas were 24 euros.....with a bottle of natural water they became 33 euros!!!!! truly a steal one leaves hungry and bald

24/03/2024: "Historical" place for Messina, existing since 1935, a destination for decades and decades of "doc" Messina residents, of frequenters of the nearby court, or simply of those who want to taste the typical products of Messina and Sicilian pastry and ice cream shops, the list would be long but it is enough to mention the black and white, the "pignolata", the "'nsudde" and the "piparelli", the cannoli, the cassata, the granitas (of many flavours, such as lemon, coffee, strawberry, almonds, pistachios etc.) . The pastries, like the ice creams, are handcrafted: at Christmas and Easter you will also find artisanal panettoni and colomba: the quality is guaranteed. The restaurant is large and has internal rooms and outdoor seating under large umbrellas.
14/02/2024: Discrete place, absurd and loud music; subpar hot chocolate; poor service: before I finished my drink, the waitress wanted me to pay the bill and, in the meantime, she took away half a cup of chocolate.

27/01/2024: Bar rinomato nella zona nord della città ma purtroppo senza alcuna ragione di esserlo al giorno d'oggi. Personale scostante e indisponente, sembra quasi che nel servirti ti riservino un grosso favore. Servizio al tavolo molto lento e praticamente assente. Quando sparecchiano i rimasugli dei commensali che ci precedono, nessuno si degna di pulire il tavolo che spesso resta pieno di molliche, si limitano solo a rimuovere bicchieri e fazzoletti. Il covid non ci ha insegnato niente? Granite discrete, prodotti da bar appena sufficienti. Non ci torneremo sicuramente.

31/03/2024: We took the pizzas three times and each time we had problems: either they were different from the ones ordered or charred, so much so that we had to take them back.
27/01/2024: With My Lillo I order 1 margherita with the addition of french fries and 1 capricciosa with the addition of olives.
I get a margherita without anything "woody" and a capricciosa with chips and without olives.
I don't expect a premium pizza but not even this poor one

17/11/2023: Il ritrovo Don Minico é a dir poco una leggenda, affermatasi nel corso del tempo come espressione di sicilianità a tutto tondo, divenendo una tappa obbligata per tutti i viandanti che transitano sui Colli S. Rizzo. Ogni angolo dell'area ristorativa é caratterizzato da simpatiche descrizioni in lingua siciliana e la zona di servizio emana profumi nostrani, che invitano alla degustazione. Durante un allenamento in bicicletta con destinazione Dinnammare, non ho potuto esimermi dall'effettuare una pausa pranzo presso il mitico ritrovo. Ho consumato una porzione del tradizionale pane farcito, condito con vari tipi di salumi, formaggi e prodotti sott'olio. Da evidenziare l'azzeccatissima cortesia di scaldare leggermente il pane prima di servirlo, che ha conferito una piacevole sensazione al palato ed esaltato i già ricchi sapori. Una birra ha accompagnato perfettamente il mio pranzo, prima che rimontassi in sella per completare gli ultimi 45km che mi separavano da casa. Assolutamente raccomandato!
24/07/2023: Direi esperienza pessima. Pane vecchio di almeno due giorni. Sul sito diceva che con un ordine di tre pagnotte il prezzo sarebbe stato di 14 euro al pezzo,in realtà ne abbiamo pagato 18 cadauno. Sconsiglio vivamente.
