20/11/2024: A wonderful discovery, a place that really deserves: 1. Modern location, but with warm colors 2. Super service/welcome 3. Dishes with very fresh ingredients, freshly prepared and with a clever mix of tradition and modernity. I chose bruschetta and stewed turnips as my entrée. While for second I was surprised by the stuffed cuttlefish, with pistachios and dried tomatoes. Very balanced cost. A beautiful gastronomic experience absolutely worth repeating, perhaps with more calm at the weekend and letting myself be guided a little more by the owner Francesco. Compliments.

22/08/2024: It is the second time we have gone to the seaside workshop for dinner. We ordered three paposce and a mixed fried fish, one of the paposce was mistakenly delivered in the form of a pizza, the error was then promptly resolved by the staff. Excellent quality of food, exceptional value for money. If you are passing through San Menaio you absolutely must stop. Kind and helpful owner helped by a young but attentive staff. The only mistake was not indicating the cover price on the menu which by law should always be displayed.

20/12/2024: A fortune discovered during a trip to San Giovanni Rotondo! Rustic and delightfully welcoming environment even on a cold rainy day... The owner is very friendly and the dishes are a tasty and abundant journey into local traditions. Extremely helpful both for our late arrival (they welcomed us for lunch even though we arrived well after 2.30pm) and for the choice of different dishes even though there were only 2 of us at our table. The price is really reasonable given the exquisite treatment we received... And we were also offered an excellent artisan Cherry! Highly recommended!!

18/11/2024: The premise is that as soon as we entered, we were greeted with a huge smile. Shortly after, some delicious appetizers arrived and so on up to the famous cherry to absolutely drink. I can't wait to go back. Thanks again to the owners Maria and Michele.

Excellent pizza, light and long leavening. Particular attention to celiac and lactose intolerant guests. The kindness of the staff and the friendliness of Mr. Gianni made us feel at home. 30/12/2024: Non saprei dire da quanti anni frequento questo ristorante ma, di certo, posso affermare che la qualità del cibo è sempre molto alta e non teme confronti. Sicuramente incidono anche lo stile del locale che, col suo arredamento in legno con parquet, rievoca quei circoli esclusivi riservati agli ufficiali di sua maestà di fine settecento, nonché la simpatia e l’accoglienza di Michele e Grazia, i proprietari. Il menù ha proposte sia di terra che di mare con antipasti gustosi frutto di anni di ricerca e sperimentazioni. Confesso che vi sono diversi piatti che hanno un posto speciale nel mio cuore e tra questi ricordo la parmigiana di pesce in pasta kataifi, o gli strascinati con funghi cardoncelli e salsiccia con una spolverata di tartufo, o anche il filetto di ombrina su una vellutata di pesto e yogurt giusto per citarne alcuni. La carta dei vini ha molte proposte valide proprio per poter offrire alternative alla continua evoluzione della cucina. I prezzi sono onesti e si esce dal locale soddisfatti e con un imperativo categorico: ritornare.
