10/06/2025: Found for lunch on the way back. Located on the main road and with excellent visibility. Excellent welcome, very kind owner, friendly, attentive to the customer but never intrusive. Even the waitress (I think her daughter) is kind and fast. The menus are à la carte or fixed at €17 with first course, second course, side dish, dessert and coffee (to choose from 3 dishes). With the choice of the fixed menu having already prepared the line almost zeroed the waiting time for the dishes. Excellent quality products and very tasty and desserts strictly homemade. Try it and believe it

27/01/2025: Con amici cacciatori ci recavamo in questo locale per pranzare, subito il locale aveva il posto per la comitiva, successivamente, appreso che eravamo cacciatori, il locale improvvisamente non aveva più posto. La titolare ha dichiarato di non voler i cacciatori nel suo ristorante. Curioso però che le loro specialità siano quasi tutte a base di carne. Forse quegli animali muoiono di vecchiaia oppure si suicidano per poter soddisfare le richieste dei clienti del ristorante.. mistero. Siamo poi andati altrove, siamo stati serviti e riveriti ed abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Una domanda signora gliela voglio fare: ma quando un qualunque avventore si presenta in abiti normali, lei glielo chiede se va a caccia o meno? Perché magari sa quanti cacciatori hanno già mangiato bel suo ristorante? Lo scrivo così spero di risolvere due problemi in uno. Da una parte i cacciatori sappiano che non sono i benvenuti, dall'altra le ho dato lo spunto per poter indagare più a fondo sulla sua clientela, perché sa signora, non andiamo tutti i giorni a mangiare al ristorante vestiti da caccia. La informo inoltre che i molti alpini che arriveranno saranno potenziali cacciatori... Come farà a gestire la cosa? Cordialità e buona fortuna.

02/06/2025: When we first arrived, our expectations were quite high, but after 2 and a half hours of waiting, our standards began to drop. We were hoping that at least the food would be decent, but the quality was on par with that of the motorway restaurant on E45. The ribs I ate were so greasy that after finishing them (normally I would have left them there but after all that time I was hungry) I went to the bathroom to wash the sins off my face and there I realized that I had made a serious mistake by heading to the toilet. The presence of a toilet seat was on par with the staff's ability to clean the bathroom (none). Dirty toilet paper on the floor, the overflowing bin and the worryingly neon-coloured soap made me doubt whether the restaurant was aware of the existence of basic hygiene rules. Speaking of broken hygiene rules, the swallows flying freely around the veranda had initially seemed cute to us, but after receiving a poop on our shoulder we changed our minds. When the singer (the only positive thing of the evening) said "I'm lucky to be here" I wanted to reply "you would have been luckier somewhere else". Immediate intervention requested by Antonino Cannavacciuolo.

25/06/2025: Acceptable food but slow and unfriendly service. They made a mistake in my order, the dessert took 20 minutes to arrive and the payment by bank card did not work. There may be better days.

25/05/2025: Yesterday I stopped by just to grab a drink with my girlfriend and have a snack, I have to say I felt very comfortable thanks to the really kind, professional, ironic and not at all intrusive staff, I will definitely be back, good guys

25/05/2025: Giornata di sole e per festeggiare il mio 55° compleanno andiamo a Barolo e naturalmente qui in questo posto per me unico e magico. Personale accogliente e simpatico arriviamo con 2 cani e subito la gentilezza dell'acqua per i miei fedeli amici ...poi il calice di Barolo e di Barbera e comincia la degustazione OTTIMA. PREZZOGiusto! Complimenti ragazzi tutto buono.

15/04/2025: Ristorante sotto le mura del castello con tavoli all'aperto. Abbiamo pranzato il 06 Aprile in una giornata molto calda per il periodo. Ricevuto l'antipasto eravamo quasi cotti a causa del sole cocente e timidamente abbiamo chiesto se c'era la possibilità di spostarsi all'interno. I titolari sono stati così gentili da spostarci in un tavolo all'interno del locale nonostante avessimo già ricevuto l'antipasto. Di ottimo livello la qualità delle portate e la loro presentazione.

11/05/2025: Unfriendly staff, not even a thank you at the time of the booking phone call. When picking up the pizzas (prescheduled on the call by the staff) we had to wait 20 minutes because they hadn't prepared them yet. Not recommended.

22/03/2025: Pizza molto buona ma peccato per un elemento in particolare del personale, forse la più giovane. Scortese e non in grado di relazionarsi col pubblico. Per la seconda volta, ordinando a domicilio, stacca interrompendo la chiamata e non risponde più. In loco, chiedendo spiegazioni, trova scuse poco plausibili a riguardo. Non consigliato.

03/03/2025: Beware! the photos are not accurate, outdated and made with a wide angle camera. The rooms are dark with rather random furniture, it definitely passed its best days. We rented a loft apartment that looked fabulous in booking.com and ended up in a room with a mezzanine so low we could not stand up straight at any point of the room. It was very uncomfortable to move around. The bed swamped in the back corner with no light at all. We moved a side table lamp from downstairs up to be able to navigate there in the evening. See below pictures from Booking vs reality 😬. It is really not worth saving some money on this apartment. The customer service pretty much non existent. We have been told we saw on the booking side the ceiling was low, I explained it’s not at all as on the pictures and they disconnected, never called back, never followed up. The last 3 photos are from the website and the first 4 from the actual room. Quite a difference.

24/02/2025: Amazing place. Big rooms, well equipped, large toilet. Breathtaking view from the balcony. Private garage spaces. 7 minutes from Bardonecchia ski lifts. Nice restaurant. Very friendly staff. Can't wait to be back there with my family.

11/05/2025: Embarrassing disorganization, Saturday evening, 3 of us behind the counter, waiting 25 minutes for a piece of focaccia and the staff absolutely incapable of recognizing priorities. More than 10 people passed me and, even though I pointed it out, I was repeatedly ignored No, I blame the staff but the organization behind it... I repeat: embarrassing not to be organized knowing that you are the only bar open on Saturday evenings. I recommend it only if you have no other alternatives.

20/03/2025: Due pallini per somma magnanimità, altrimenti avrei dato zero. Era da anni che non tornavo in questo locale, nettamente migliorato dopo una indovinata ristrutturazione. Peccato che rimanga il difetto di sempre, vale a dire il servizio. In una sera feriale, arrivati alle 19,30 , è impensabile che la pizza sia servita alle 20,45!!!!! Guardandomi intorno ho notato che per un bel po' in sala nessuno era servito. Ci sono sicuramente grossi problemi organizzativi, non compensati dalla buona qualità del cibo. Dopo un'attesa tanto lunga, non si ha più voglia di gustare nulla, né di ordinare un dolce: l'unico pensiero è uscire!!
