11/09/2025: An evening to forget at the sushi place My experience yesterday at this place was nothing short of disastrous. And I'm not just talking about the bill, which seemed decidedly disproportionate for the quality offered. For two, we ordered two menus and a bottle of water and ended up paying a whopping €67. (A price I knew I'd have to pay.) I would have expected to pay for high-quality sushi, carefully prepared with the freshest ingredients. Instead, what I ate was the exact opposite. The clearest proof came today: severe diarrhea that's been bothering us. There's no doubt it was caused by something we ate there. If this is the result of a dinner, I can't imagine the conditions the food is kept in in the kitchen. I don't recommend it to anyone. If you want to get your money's worth and not end up like me, avoid this place at all costs.

10/09/2025: I didn't appreciate the first courses which were too sweet while the fried chicken and prawn skewers were excellent.

14/09/2025: Excellent business lunch. The owner was particularly friendly during a credit card mixup... She trusted my good faith and extended me a credit. Chapeau.

03/09/2025: The dinner was quite good; we tried both the first courses and the pizza. Welcoming place. On a negative note: the house wine didn't live up to expectations. Better to opt for a bottle.

05/10/2025: This was our first time at this restaurant. It's a very welcoming and warm place, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The fish-based starters are highly recommended.

12/09/2025: I stayed in Pognana for a week and had the opportunity to stop by Peppo's Bar several times. The drinks are always refreshing, the welcome warm, the food delicious, and the atmosphere charming. Not to mention the ice cream, which is excellent! A must-try in the village.

29/09/2025: Typical tourist pizzeria The menu with pictures of the food on the front page should have given me pause. A waitress and a cashier. My order was taken incorrectly, so my appetizer arrived at the same time as my husband's meal and the bread without anything (which cost 2.50 coperto per person). Additionally, I was served the wrong appetizer... it was supposed to be Parma ham with melon, but unfortunately, it came without. Due to the already obvious communication difficulties, I didn't want to argue. The waiter mixed Italian with English, which was much more difficult to understand. The view of the lake was only possible through the plastic screen of the tent. Pizza was okay, but nothing more. The pizza was very dark brown and black in several places, the ingredients were carelessly arranged. A huge pizza, but halfway through it was already cold and difficult to cut...

26/09/2025: Good and big pizzas! The creme brulee is also delicious.

12/09/2025: You'll find the best gelato in Como here :) Generous portions and super fair prices, unlike other gelato shops in the center! All the flavors are excellent, my favorite is the grape strawberry and apple with a vegan cone! The staff is incredibly kind and friendly! If you're passing through Como, stop by, I highly recommend it!
