I tasted the mozzarella and frankly I did not like it. But the sausage is delicious and we taste a juicy mixture (orange, carrot and lemon). It is delicious and we will never get enough of it. But if you have a specific appointment, come ahead of time because he is working on his own, so it takes time to prepare them

18/05/2025: Me and my friends had a great dinner here. The food was amazing (i had a beef dish with mashed potatoes) the staff was nice. The owner has a great personality. he took the time to explain the menu to us, and after dinner, he shared some interesting stories about the unique items he collects, which are displayed around the restaurant. We had a great night.

18/05/2025: Best ravioli i've had, had the cheapest local wine which was fanominal, and for desert i had panna cotta which was delicious. Owner was lovely, helped with explaining the food, and at the end talked about our different cultures. 10/10 would come again

30/05/2025: Such a gem. More of a quiet local spot just out of the hustle and bustle of the ferry area. We needed a place to enjoy some coffee, wine and good food for an hour and a half while we waited for our ferry. We found the owner, Matteo, treated us more like friends than customers for this experience. We will seek out this most hospitable cafe if we ever find ourselves back in Como.

05/05/2025: I visited in May last year... I remember walking with a backpack and going in for coffee and bread, and there were a lot of children with their mothers.... The female staff was very friendly, but I think the male boss was not friendly. The male owner was alone at the checkout counter, and when I tried to order coffee, he just looked at me and passed me by. The expression on his face didn't look very good, and I could see his senses. So I waited until the female employee came and placed my order.... Other than that it was okay

25/05/2025: Esta fue una experiencia gastronómica inolvidable. La comida estaba exquisitamente preparada y muy bien presentada. El personal de camareros era brillante. Desde los varios bouches de diversión hasta el postre de panna cotta, fue fenomenal. Dejaré que las fotos hablen.

05/05/2025: Restaurante elegante, acogedor, con buen espacio entre mesas, manteles y buenas copas. Como tiene de ser. Hay la opcion de escoger entre dos menus, uno de 65 euros, con dos platos de la carta y el otro de 90 euros con tres platos. Nosotros escogimos el de dos, porque para cenar nos parecio suficiente, ademas con los aperitivos esta muy bien. Lo que destacaria es la codorniz, que estaba en su punto exacto de coccion y muy sabrosa. Excelente servicio.

24/04/2025: Despite the delay, it was right to talk about the experience I had in this restaurant, a discovery that deserves to be shared. The location, although not directly overlooking the lake, manages to win you over thanks to a refined and welcoming interior design, capable of creating a warm and refined atmosphere, just like the dining room staff, from the waiters to the manager, capable of making the guest feel at ease from the first moment. The visit - although unique so far - left an indelible mark, so much so that a future second time is certain. The dishes stand out for their quality and presentation, but what truly surprised us was the original welcome, capable of striking deeply with its uniqueness and attention. Applause also goes to the sommelier, who was able to accompany the tasting with wine proposals in perfect harmony with the menu, completing a high-quality gastronomic experience.

05/04/2025: Armilla is an innovative restaurant in its menus: they are presented very well and "never disappoint" both in terms of quality and concept. We have been there many times and it has always been a confirmation. The opinion of my guests has always, but truly always, been more than positive. More or less everyone has returned and become regular customers. Certainly the success of the place, from the kitchen to the management, is also thanks to the service which is always courteous and never superficial without being intrusive. I think it's really pleasant, with their innovative proposal, to have lunch or dinner at Armilla!

24/04/2025: The pizzas are unique! The base is made from wholemeal flour to add an authentic taste to the pizzas!! For those who like spicy food, I highly recommend Inferno pizza, burning lips are guaranteed!

15/05/2025: Small but nice place. Clean and well-kept. Super friendly staff. Quick service even though the place was full. The quality of the piadina was really excellent. Very rich. Price in line with competitors. I will definitely come back if I pass by here.

01/05/2025: We are in Como for a long weekend and accidentally discovered Pinocchio not far from the hotel. A direct hit. Last night we drank two Aperol Spritz in the garden and were even given an aperitif snack plate. This morning we were there for breakfast, coffee and brioches are so delicious, and we were able to have breakfast in the garden in the sun. Everyone is very friendly, we like the atmosphere, it's clean, cozy and makes you feel good. As far as the prices are concerned, you almost feel guilty because it really is exceptionally cheap. Highly recommended ❤️

19/05/2025: We spent a weekend here and we loved it. we took our Belgian Mali with us which was a deal breaker since our dog is part of the family. The owner was very friendly in the phone when I called and when we got there he helped me to park my car. He also greeted me outside of the hotel and he sent out a waitress to help us carrying luggages into our rooms. The hotel reminded me of my childhood a little back in to the 90's which had a positive affect on me. The room was simple but very clean. The dinner was great, we were all very satisfied. The stuffs were friendly and welcoming. On our first night I barely got enough sleep because of a screeming child across our room, which of course is not the fault of the owner, however, I mentioned it to him in the morning and he offered me another room for my convenience. We ended up having two rooms, although I paid only for one, the other one was a gift as he said. I was very touched by his kindness and how considerate he was. The owner of this hotel including the stuffs did everything where we can feel well cared for. I have been traveling with my kids relatively often, but the hospitality of this man should be recognised world wide. The hotel is simple, but cozy, the people are warm and friendly, it is hard to find places like that. When we were about to leave, the owner walked us to our car, and from his heart he wished us a safe trip. I was so touched by his kindness that I couldn't hold my tears back. This place somehow touched our hearts, even so that I'm bragging about it in Germany, that kindness and hospitality still exists, maybe not somewhere in a busy city, but definitely up in the mountains in Brunate. We thank him and his stuff for our weekend. We are very happy that we met them. I can only recommend this place. And for as a last word; we will be back.
