29/10/2024: Intrigued by such a high score, I wanted to try it, but it was a disappointment. I just appreciate the fact that there aren't too many flavours, generally indicating the freshness and quick turnover of the ice cream. But in fact the ice cream is very shiny and too creamy, generally indicating the use of improving oils and thickeners. On the other hand, the taste is decidedly poor. Dairy-free options are scarce. It is very expensive, 3.30 euros for a small ice cream, even more than several gourmet ice cream shops or in more prestigious places.

05/01/2025: Local near the center of Como, ideal for lunch breaks during the week: the menu offers a wide choice, including vegetarian and vegan options; in addition to the excellent toasts, it is possible to order smoothies or fruit extracts which I didn't get this time, but which I will definitely come back to try. The sales assistant was very courteous and helpful. The only flaw is the space (very limited and with little availability of seats) and the wait even if, from my point of view, it's worth it!

23/12/2024: I used to frequent this place years ago. The kindness of the owner Vincenzo and now also of his son has not changed. The quality of the pizza also. Also found some sweet novelties such as zeppole and Neapolitan pastiera. I highly recommend.

16/12/2024: Just great! Starting with the warm welcome from the owner of the house, continuing with the fine dishes, carefully prepared, everything from the local area, and expertly explained wine. And all of this in beautiful old new rooms!

21/10/2024: We had high expectations already, but they gave us a meal and experience far greater than we could’ve even dreamed! From Elisa’s exceptional service and knowledge/story on each dish, to the kind words of the head chef, to the ambiance, and the exquisite food (the significance behind each dish is as incredible as the flavors) were absolutely amazing. We loved how they made the set menu centered around a reflection of Como with local ingredients. This was a once-in-a-lifetime dinner!

11/12/2024: I decided to go down to the restaurant "Al Torchio" to celebrate my graduation. What can I say... good food and excellent education in addition to the spectacular location. Super recommended place!

05/01/2025: By chance we ended up having lunch after visiting the lighthouse, we discovered a genuine, informal, clean and tidy place. Large room with comfortable tables well spaced between them. Quick, informal but attentive service. The dishes are excellent, the polenta and tagliatelle are delicious, as are the fresh desserts of the day, even the delicious fresh bread is made on site. The environment is reminiscent of that typical of mountain resorts. If you are looking for a bit of tranquility away from the worldliness of the center of Como to savor genuine flavours, this is the place for you! Prices are also low and far from those of the city. Highly recommended!!!

04/01/2025: A vast offer of piadine, piadapizza, burgers, salads and crepes. All delicious, you'll be spoiled for choice! Countless combinations, very high quality ingredients and absolutely affordable prices. Friendly welcome, very kind staff and great professionalism. Accurate and very fast service. We ate three types of piadine, a Gertrude, a Don Rodrigo, a U and three crepes with Nutella and jam. All very good! The vegetarian options were also very tempting, I will be sure to try them soon! Absolutely recommended!

06/01/2025: I visited when attending the last concert of the Bellagio festival. Beautiful building. Very good service. The room allocated for the concert was very well organized. It was a great experience to join G. and her neighbors for the evening.

29/12/2024: This hotel is said to be the inspiration for building the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Although the structure is classical, the electrical controls in the room are modern and comfortable. The atmosphere among the guests was also good. I was able to sleep comfortably with the night breeze from the lake coming into my room. I would like to eat at the restaurant next time. 07.2023

09/12/2024: A place that is still genuine, a dive into the past to taste delicious dishes from the ancient Lombard tradition, cooked very well and using excellent raw materials. We appreciated the cured meats and cheeses, the soups, a delicious roast that really "melted in the mouth" and the special desserts (after all, here with desserts, we play at home...) You can see that knowledge is at the base and product research. The wine, "30 February" really thrilled me, a very good red and also very pleasant on the nose. The location is typical and very welcoming and warm... It feels like being at home.... In short, it was a very pleasant surprise, I highly recommend it! Well done Danilo, congratulations indeed!!

05/11/2024: We spent a wonderful evening in this, at first glance, simple restaurant. The food was very tasty, authentic and completely new to us and was a great experience. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and strives to provide good service. You get along well with English. Even the map was explained to us in English. I hope we come back to the region to enjoy the great food :-)

16/12/2024: Experience in this restaurant for a business dinner with the possibility of choosing between meat, fish and vegetarian menus. Personally I savored a tasty meat menu in a warm environment and with the owner identifying himself as a food guide and at the same time as Charon who ferried us on the river of flavours. Recommended and I will return... but more attention to the service such as from serving the ladies at the table first to checking if there is the correct cutlery for the dish that will be served to clearing the table and knocking over the diners' glasses. A little more attention but a bad evening can happen! Come and try Armilla's food

30/09/2024: Qué pequeño café encantador, gran café y un personal tan amable encantador. Estamos aquí para desayunar en nuestra última mañana en Como , el café es genial , tuvimos cruasanes de albaricoque que se rellenaron con mermelada y luego tostado sándwiches de jamón y queso . Grandes precios e incluso más barato si se lleva. Este es un café muy acogedor y recomendaría a cualquiera que visite Como para probarlo, no te decepcionará. Encantador saludo a la llegada , feliz de tener un servicio tan fantástico .

30/09/2024: Quedó de pie en el mostrador esperando ser reconocido. Ningún servicio mientras 3 funcionarias charlaban entre sí y nos ignoraban. Así que nos fuimos. Fue embarazoso. No volveré. No lo suficiente.
