18/11/2025: Delicious burgers and very friendly staff!

03/01/2026: Visited in winter for a hot drink... Cold place, all guests in jackets. I get up to close the door to keep the baby warm, and they open it again... Lukewarm cappuccino, cold coffee, and sky-high prices. Sorry, I won't be back!

07/02/2026: The pizza was undercooked and rubbery, so much so that it completely put me off eating, drinking coffee, or having dessert; the only thing I appreciated was the toppings. The service was very slow, despite there being about four waitresses in the room. To make the experience even worse, a woman sitting at a table next to mine decided to smoke IQOS right at the table, despite the smoking ban being clearly visible and displayed in front of her. She even managed to do so secretly without being noticed and therefore reprimanded.

06/03/2026: Sometimes good, sometimes not, the food isn't always good, and it also depends a lot on how many people there are. If there's hardly anyone there, it's worse; if there are a lot of people, the dishes arrive hot at the table.

21/01/2026: Stunning hotel with fantastic peace and quiet, well-appointed furnishings that take you back 50 years! The staff and owners were very kind and ready to accommodate my every request. I will definitely be back for another weekend!

28/12/2025: Poor piadina, filled with a slice of something. Disappointing and poor quality. Wait for a piadina (we were the only customers) 20 minutes. They probably keep the grill off and wait for the customer to arrive to turn it on, etc. I don't recommend it.

16/10/2025: The ambiance is okay. The service is friendly. It's certainly enough for a drink. The food is far too expensive for this sparsely occupied piadineria.

21/02/2026: The worst piadina shop in the area, a shame because in the past the piadinas were well filled, now everything is halved, the baby piadina with Nutella is half of what I always got in other piadina shops ... (and yet the prices have risen), the room upstairs has neither a high chair, nor the possibility of reaching it by elevator if you have a stroller (even though there is an elevator but the wording "reserved for staff" is not clear) rude staff who instead of helping me see me struggling to pull the stroller up and laugh at me ... Disappointing both on a lunch level and on a human level.

14/02/2026: PAINFUL EXPERIENCE. I went in and asked for a piadina, waited 30 MINUTES, and the answer to my question, "Where's the piadina?" was, "I didn't get a receipt." SHAMEFUL. Five other people came in before me after I told them. SHAME!

24/01/2026: We went to this bar because we wanted an aperitif, and seeing the sign outside that they offer "aperitif with appetizers" on Fridays and Saturdays, we ordered three glasses of wine and two non-alcoholic drinks. The bartender replied that she didn't know how to make them and didn't have any ready, so we ordered a lemon soda (not a can, but a half glass) and a crodino. We asked if it was possible to have some appetizers with the aperitif, and were told that they only serve it at lunchtime. As an alternative, she offered us chips, which were stale! There was also the option of a slice of pizza, which obviously cost extra since nothing was included. The price was normal... Highly not recommended, especially if you're thinking, like us, of coming in for an aperitif and a bite to eat!

13/10/2025: Stopped by HERE by chance and ate a fish soup that was on the menu of the day. AMAZING!!! Very Spartan tavern, but for my first experience... I recommend it!!!

31/01/2026: For a business meeting in Verola Nuova, yesterday I went to Excalibur for lunch. I ordered a toasted sandwich, because I digest it well. The lady at the counter explained (correctly) that it was only for takeout, as the place is a restaurant-pub and not a bar. She recommended a mini pizza. I also had a hot tea because I was very cold. The pizza was good and easy to digest. The added bonus was the kindness of the lady and the smiles of the girls. I was warmly welcomed, even though it was my first time there. I finished with a barley coffee and a chocolate. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely return to this pub.

10/08/2025: A lovely, friendly hotel with breakfast and a pizzeria. A very nice hostess, very friendly, a beautiful location right on the lake, and renovated and clean rooms. The breakfast is good and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The hotel doesn't have its own beach; the beach is about 200 meters away. We felt very comfortable.
