On the contrary! it is a great motivation to come back here every time and, above all, that the Davide has not lost its fame. Bright, spacious and welcoming environment. Friendly staff who are always available... and last but not least, the ice cream is one of the best in the city! You don't get bored eating your ice cream. The flavors are not too heavy and not too sweet. Here you can find something that is lost in other ice cream shops and it's called: Quality! Compliments! 5 stars absolutely deserved!

01/12/2024: Se ci fosse la possibilità di dare 0 stelle l’avremmo fatto. In un’accoglienza scortese e non professionale, abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno di un nostro parente il quale non ha gradito come del resto anche noi la pizza che, come da foto, risultava veramente secca, bruciata e non lievitata, quindi difficile da mandare giù. Come anche la lunga fila d’attesa per pagare alla cassa con una persona sola a parlare del più e del meno. Unica cosa positiva e buona della serata é stata la torta perché l’abbiamo portata noi da casa. Posto sconsigliato altamente, valutate altre pizzerie.

05/08/2024: We got pizza here twice and were particularly impressed the second time. The pizza was better baked and nice and crispy - the Tonno in particular was really tasty. The employees were very friendly despite the stress, which we really appreciated. We would definitely like to come back!

06/12/2024: Locale un po' angusto con posti a sedere interni molto limitati ma con servizio veloce e garbato. Buoni i vini anche se tendono a fare lievitare notevolmente il costo della cena. Titolare presente e a modo.

03/12/2024: La nostra esperienza a pranzo è stata pessima. Siamo stati stipati in un tavolo minuscolo e, quando abbiamo chiesto se si potesse unire un tavolino il proprietario ci messi a tacere malamente. Anche le cameriere sono sulla stessa linea di educazione. Peccato perché la cucina funziona bene, hamburger e altri piatti sarebbero buoni.

03/01/2025: Remarkably good gluten-free pizza

01/01/2025: Booked for New Year's Eve dinner, I can say that we were not too bad! Total disorganization! There were 5 of us, 3 dishes arrived and for the other 2 we had to ask and request! The dishes arrive cold! The fried appetizers, if not requested by us, would have been sautéed. The starters (passable) too bad that my friend only received raw and mozzarella! The waiters were confused and disoriented! When we arrived at the second course (cold meat and inedible mushrooms) we got up and decided to leave! Furthermore, the live music was annoying, too loud, while you are still at the table it should be in the background! To conclude, after our complaint we expected at least a discount! Instead just arrogance and arrogance! €75 each beautifully stolen!!! Goodbye!

03/09/2024: We ate at La Grotta. Very friendly and fast service. We each ordered a salad and drinks. Plus a pizza for two, as we had never managed a whole pizza in Chiavara. The shared pizza here was very, very small. The bill was paid by card. When asked, Coperto cost €3/person instead of €2, like in the other restaurants. The invoice also did not list each individual item, as usual, but only the total amount. When we did the math, we found a small difference to our disadvantage. When asked about this, the owner yelled at me and gave me one amount, not the whole amount. I would have liked to leave the amount as a tip if the bill had been detailed. It wasn't much. But it doesn't work that way.

27/08/2024: I’m not usually minded to leave reviews but we found this place on our first night in Chiavari after a long day of travelling. With two tired and hungry children, we were wary because of mixed reviews, but we needed food. Borgolungo was just the thing for us. My mixed platter of fried fish was a good size and perfectly cooked and fresh and the other dishes were good too. The service was friendly and good humoured. We were very pleasantly surprised.
