Non Solo Pizza

05/08/2024: We got pizza here twice and were particularly impressed the second time. The pizza was better baked and nice and crispy - the Tonno in particular was really tasty. The employees were very friendly despite the stress, which we really appreciated. We would definitely like to come back!

27/10/2024: The restaurant is located in the historic center of Chiavari, created from an old butcher's shop whose history it maintains, and has a very captivating informal appearance. In recent times they have equipped themselves with a place where they prepare appetizing dishes, to be accompanied by a wine or a beer chosen from the vast list of quality products offered by the place. Having said that, the clear strong point of the place are the aperitifs and happy hours with excellent cocktails, perhaps consumed in good company.
The guys who take care of the service are nice and fast.
The place has a young clientele and is certainly a great meeting point for the Chiavari nightlife, it stays open until late. Try it, you'll have fun.

01/09/2024: The ice cream at the Davide bar has been my point of reference for more than fifty years. When the cafe went out of business, I thought I would never eat ice cream like that again. I was wrong.
Furthermore, the prices are absolutely correct and not at all expensive.

08/12/2024: Sono stato in questo locale e mi sono trovato molto bene, personale gentile, cibi molto buoni, porzioni generose, menù senza glutine, non solo cucina napoletana ma anche piatti liguri e non mi hanno per nulla deluso.. tutto molto buono.

Ma una costata da menù a 23 Euro passata nel conto a 30 mi sembra più da Brutta Napoli!
Sopratutto perché per me Napoli è Napoli e questa non è una bella pubblicità x Napoli.

Ma non hai avvisato che era più grossa? Alla povera cameriera che alza gli occhi al cielo imbarazzata!
Ma perfavore, da 23 a 30, 7 euro in più, più di un terzo?

03/09/2024: We ate at La Grotta. Very friendly and fast service. We each ordered a salad and drinks. Plus a pizza for two, as we had never managed a whole pizza in Chiavara. The shared pizza here was very, very small. The bill was paid by card. When asked, Coperto cost €3/person instead of €2, like in the other restaurants. The invoice also did not list each individual item, as usual, but only the total amount. When we did the math, we found a small difference to our disadvantage. When asked about this, the owner yelled at me and gave me one amount, not the whole amount. I would have liked to leave the amount as a tip if the bill had been detailed. It wasn't much. But it doesn't work that way.

27/08/2024: I’m not usually minded to leave reviews but we found this place on our first night in Chiavari after a long day of travelling. With two tired and hungry children, we were wary because of mixed reviews, but we needed food. Borgolungo was just the thing for us. My mixed platter of fried fish was a good size and perfectly cooked and fresh and the other dishes were good too. The service was friendly and good humoured. We were very pleasantly surprised.
22/08/2024: Dopo la terza cena tutte a base di pesce fresco mi spiace di aver finito le vacanze ottimo ristorante e grande staff.Mi auguro a presto per una gita in barca.

14/07/2024: Ci siamo fermati dopo una giornata al mare, il posto spartano, offre piatti liguri a buon prezzo. Personale gentile, molto cordiale e corretto. La serata è stata corredata della musica. Carpaccio di salmone buonissimo, fritto misto e acciughe impanate ottime. Lo consiglio
