06/05/2025: Lokanda Devetak is an excellent choice if you’re looking for authentic, homemade, and exceptionally tasty food. My husband and I opted for the 6-course tasting menu. They have a completely separate gluten-free menu, but they were happy to accommodate me by adapting the tasting menu and simply adjusting a few dishes to make them gluten-free. Every course was unpretentious yet incredibly flavorful and wine pairing was incredibly on point! The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit – I’ll certainly be coming back.

04/05/2025: We had lunch at Al Piròn on 01/05 and we were struck by the kind and familiar welcome of the staff and the owner, we enjoyed two generous first courses and this is also confirmed by the fact that I saw a couple of other couples asking for aluminum trays to take the food home.... All delicious, as if I were eating at my aunt's house, in the courtyard with the privacy of being able to talk without the waiter making you understand that you have to go away to seat another person.... We we will definitely return also because we understood that PIRON = Fork.. 😉

04/05/2025: The best trattoria in Friuli Venezia Giulia and one of the best in Italy! My experience was complete in all aspects. The food was exceptional, from the highest quality raw materials, you can feel every ingredient that has been put on the plate with a masterly hand. All dishes were DELICIOUS! with many small interesting details such as crunchy wasabi crumbles in the Beef Tartar dish, the fried leaves, and much more. He also brought us some extra samples such as the ham and vegetable gel on the cauliflower salad before the first course, very fresh, good and balanced. Blecs with sclopit and San Daniele, no words, seasonal, fragrant, good good. The beef was unforgettable, such tender and flavorful beef I don't think I've ever eaten in my life. The place is beautiful, typical, warm, elegant. The service was impeccable, right from the phone call I felt pampered by the voice of the woman of the house. Everything perfect! A little more expensive than other places but absolutely worth every money. I will return several times with friends and family. A must for those who love good food!

16/05/2025: Spectacular setting with attention to detail (I recommend visiting between the end of April and the beginning of May to enjoy the beautiful Wisteria blooming in the outdoor garden), fast and precise service with quality products and very friendly and helpful staff. It was a pleasure to meet them.

14/05/2025: The place is nice, very difficult to find parking because the place will have 5/6 parking spaces available, around the corner of the street you can find something, but still you have to walk a bit! Then the food is ok, the sandwiches are their strong points but I can say that they have a small selection of sandwiches, the prices are fair and the service is excellent. So if you want to try it I recommend it.

01/05/2025: We have been doing bus tourism throughout Europe for almost 40 years. We've never experienced anything like this before. The worst advertising for a city with the ambition to be Capital of Culture in 2025.

15/04/2025: Celebrated first wedding anniversary here! The food was amazing. We took artichokes and beef tartar as starters, very very good. Then we got Tomhawk with baked potatoes, exceptional! The meat was delicious, it had a deep beef flavor that I love to die for, despite having a lot of fat, the meat was light and very digestible, I could have eaten more of it. Super recommended for those who love grilled steak

17/05/2025: ....perhaps suitable for lunch and dinner but not for a snack....a plate of cold cuts...with very little cheese for 5 (while in reality for three barely) 55 euros...all good but making fun of people like this is counterproductive...ask for separate plates or they'll rip you off......Scandalous!

I was forced by the waiter to order what suited him, expressing my refusal and trying to order a dish of my choice from the list, I was ridiculed and made fun of by the waiter. Abnormal prices, ordered a plate of pasta with ragu and half a portion arrived of barely sufficient quality, all for 18 euros plus 3 cover charge Experience not to be repeated, some advice go and eat somewhere else
