08/11/2025: Highly recommended!! We had lunch in a friendly, family-friendly atmosphere. The dishes were delicious and carefully prepared. We were fortunate enough to sample the menu created by the chefs for the feast of San Martino, featuring chestnut and persimmon-based dishes...truly everything was exceptional!

26/09/2025: We spontaneously went there one evening after a Google tip for ice cream, a small, inconspicuous place without a neon sign. "Gelateria Frel" The first impression was positively inviting, very clean and hygienic, and the ice cream flavors looked tempting. "It's best to try them all right away." A very good-looking, well-groomed, and friendly lady took the time to explain the different varieties and their ingredients to us. The ice cream tasted delicious, delicious, and the flavor nuances tempted us to have more. Unfortunately, we have to leave tomorrow, otherwise I would be back. Highly recommended!

12/09/2025: I went for lunch today with my husband. Everything was excellent, the place was beautiful and well-decorated, and the food was excellent. We had two fricos as appetizers, two excellent first courses, and two desserts. The wine, water, and coffee were excellent. €90 was more than good. I can't wait to go back. Superb service.

23/06/2025: A very clean and pleasant hotel. The rooms with balconies are a bit noisier than the rooms without balconies at the back due to the through traffic. The guesthouse across the side street is particularly recommended, with its heated pool and unobstructed views of the hilly landscape. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone. The evening meals are particularly excellent.

19/11/2025: The quality of the pizzas is excellent. The dough is very easy to digest, and the ingredients are carefully selected and high-quality. The pizza sauce is so good it deserves to be eaten on its own, but it really shines on these leavened pizzas. The professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness of the owner and staff perfectly complement the recipe, in a welcoming and clean environment. I recommend it whether you're looking for a quick slice, takeout to eat at home, or a dinner on the premises.

30/11/2025: We were passing through Gorizia and after a few attempts to find a place for dinner, and then a few rejections because it was 9:45 PM, this place told us we could go in, but we needed to get there quickly! We ordered a tasty, slightly spicy goulash and the pork shank covered in a reduction that made it exceptional. Both generously sized dishes were complemented by potatoes that tasted like a cross between baked potatoes and mashed potatoes—I could have eaten two kilos of them! But the real highlight was Tom, the young waiter who exudes zest for life from every pore, a truly efficient and pleasant guy. I definitely recommend stopping there.

30/10/2025: Reservations... a must on weekends. We immediately settled in and started with a platter of fresh but super-flavorful prosciutto. A nice bottle of local white wine, of course, at a more than fair price. The selection of dishes was limited, but we found something for ourselves. A lively place, with cheerful management. A good meeting point.

14/11/2025: I'm often in Monfalcone for work and I found this place by chance. The owner is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The food is a mix of fabulous southern and northern dishes, but the orecchiette con le turnips are a cut above. 😉😉😉😉😉

14/11/2025: Gluten-free pizza absolutely needs to be changed: it's literally a wet focaccia with two pieces of mozzarella, and the one they served me was cold, which is really a lot for something like that.
