10/01/2025: At the end of our holiday in Gorizia, my partner and I chose to say goodbye to the city at the "Al Piron" restaurant, ranked second in the 4 restaurants program in November 2023. To say that everything was perfect would be somewhat of an understatement. Place with typical local cuisine with high attention to the quality of the ingredients and their preparation. The venue is intimate but very welcoming. Every single dish was delicious, but the thing that pleasantly surprised me the most was the owner's cheerfulness, never veiled by obvious tiredness. You can really see that she loves this job and is very good at transmitting enthusiasm to you. Each plate is described as a painting and presented as a painting on canvas. It's a shame to have to leave again but in the end we would gladly do 300 km again to savor the many dishes that obviously weren't possible today.

24/12/2024: Had dinner on a Friday evening, the place was full but the tranquility at the table was maintained, the raw materials of the food were exceptional and treated with care and skill. The courses are all of the highest level both in terms of presentation and flavour, the classy service is always present but at the same time non-invasive, you feel like you're at home. Thank you and congratulations because we left satisfied and satisfied with the delicacies and tastes that you let us savor, we will definitely be back. Super recommended

17/12/2024: Booked almost by chance, I had a great time, the dishes are very well prepared and tasty, I would say classic recipes revisited; good choice of à la carte wines, we personally drank the excellent house wine in bulk. Excellent service, present but not intrusive. Complete lunch from starter to dessert for around €50. 5 stars well deserved!!

14/12/2024: Unfortunately I didn't like the Pizza, because the ingredients were floating in the water given by the raw tomato and the 2 slices of mozzarella thrown on so randomly, ok fresh products, but a squeeze of the mozzarella and a less watery and acidic tomato wouldn't be bad. .. You needed a spoon to eat it, but my guests' one, without tomato, seemed much better 🤷🏻‍♀️ too bad.

15/12/2024: Il locale è piccolo ed estremamente familiare. L'atmosfera è calda, la sala ben curata. Bello il caminetto a centro sala. Il servizio è estremamente cordiale, fa sentire accolti e a casa. La scelta è buona e la qualità merita. Il prezzo giusto. Velocità del servizio buona. Porzioni abbondanti. Ottimi i primi; oggi provate le sarde impanate: davvero buone! Merita così come , penso, il sig. Sergio che fa servizio in sala: grande professionalità, cordialità e simpatia.

26/11/2024: Very interesting place for a lunch break, with a welcoming room located on the upper floor, which allows you to eat in peace away from the hustle and bustle. The central location makes it convenient for those who work in the city, although parking can be difficult to find, so it's best to arrive a little early. The quality of the food is truly remarkable: the dishes are prepared with care, with a good variety of first, second and side dishes. Everything is well cooked and served in generous portions, with particular attention to flavors and ingredients. The first courses, in particular, stand out for their taste and consistency, but the second courses and side dishes are also no different, always offering a diversified choice. Prices are normal and absolutely adequate for the quality offered. Recommended for those looking for a quality lunch without spending too much. It is a place I would gladly return to, especially for the tranquility of the room and the goodness of the dishes.
