07/08/2024: This evening I had dinner with 3 friends and ordered a very simple cherry tomato and parmesan... Once the pizza arrived it was burnt so much that it tasted bitter while eating it, so I called the waitress and asked if they could kindly remake it for me and I explained to her that I would have also paid for an addition of tomatoes without any problems but I was glad there were more than 3/4 of them. He returns with the pizza with the exact same quantity of cherry tomatoes as before... it was no longer burnt but I found the tomato acidic. And the waitress seemed annoyed by my legitimate request. Based on my experience I advise against it.

28/07/2024: Light pizza and absolute quality ingredients. Unforgettable pastiera and millefeuille. We will be back.

23/06/2024: Thursday XVIII - VIII - MMXVI BAR LA STREGA ☕ - Via Cavour 11, 43036 Fidenza (PR) I stopped at this bar to drink a coffee ☕ as soon as I arrived in Fidenza. The macchiato is good 😋 (the foam is very rich, as I like it) and the girls on the staff are kind 👩🏻👩🏻‍🦱. Recommended 👍. Saturday XXII - VI - MMXXIV I also returned recently (last June 22nd) for a relaxing break 😌 after a walk 🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏻‍♀️ along the streets of the centre. We ordered a non-alcoholic Piña Colada 🍹, a violet spritz 🍸, a vegetable focaccia to share and assorted meatballs with rice and quinoa filling. The girl 👩🏻‍🦱 who served us at the table was kind. Compared to my previous visit, I noticed that the wooden bench with the jute bags used as cushions is no longer present outside, on the other hand there are now metal barrels 🛢 used as tables; The idea of ​​having books 📚 on the tables as a furnishing element is also nice. RECOMMENDED 👍.

23/06/2024: Sempre una valida scelta il Bar La Strega, bel locale in cui sono tornato di recente per una sosta relax 😌 dopo una passeggiata 🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏻‍♀️ lungo le vie del centro. Abbiamo ordinato una Piña Colada analcolica 🍹, uno spritz alla violetta 🍸, una focaccia alle verdure da condividere e delle polpettine assortite con farcitura di riso e quinoa. Gentile la ragazza 👩🏻‍🦱 che ci ha serviti al tavolo. Rispetto alla mia visita precedente ho notato che all'esterno non è più presente la panca in legno con i sacchi di juta usati come cuscini, in compenso vi sono adesso dei barili metallici 🛢 usati come tavolini; bella anche l'idea di disporre dei libri 📚 sopra i tavoli come elemento d'arredo. CONSIGLIATO 👍.

As soon as I entered, I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of Fabio, owner and chef of the restaurant, who welcomed us with a warm smile and impeccable professionalism. The restaurant appears modern, clean and elegant, with an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The dishes were a real delight, fresh ingredients and technically speaking well made. You can clearly perceive the passion and love that Fabio puts into the preparation of each dish. I advise!! The hospitality combined with the quality of the dishes makes this restaurant an unmissable destination for all lovers of good food.

10/06/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant and had a very good meal. You can see that the chef puts passion into his cooking and knows how to treat excellent raw materials. Particular mention for the focaccia, breadsticks and bread made by them to accompany the dinner...really delicious!

14/07/2024: All very good, sometimes they get a little lost in the service but they work hard and that's OK, nothing serious, they deserve 5 stars!!! Highly recommended!!!

02/07/2024: We always stop here when we are in Monticelli, the prices are good and the food too: the kebab, in particular, is excellent. There is a comfortable lounge available and you can use the bathroom. The staff is kind and smiling. A warranty.

26/08/2024: Friendly and welcoming staff. Tried pizza (excellent) and a first course (also very good). A person who was with us tried the fassona joke and in his opinion it was good and well presented. If I really have to find a small note it is on the desserts (maybe find something that comes out of the usual tiramisu / panna cotta / trifle...like for the winter period hot strudel with scoop of cream ice cream...if they are of good quality it is a fantastic dessert). Anyway, congratulations and see you soon!

06/08/2024: Speaking of quality, it is probably the best in all of Parma. Gioelia is a guarantee. Take-away cakes and desserts are also recommended.

05/08/2024: Excellent artisanal ice cream prepared every day with fresh and genuine ingredients; creamy desserts that melt in your mouth and finally a delicious red mulberry granita that enhances the taste!

31/07/2024: Peccato non poter dare di più. Questo a causa della scarsa (anzi quasi inesistente) proposta del menù. Siamo andati in questa osteria (che di osteria ha poco visti anche i prezzi) dopo aver visto le recensioni e le foto postate dagli altri. Peccato che una volta arrivati ci siamo trovati un menù con praticamente tutte le voci cancellate con l’indelebile. 3 sole proposte di primi (tortelli verdi, di patate e di zucca), altrettante di secondi, idem gli antipasti. Prendiamo un antipasto di polentine con lardo e gorgonzola, saltiamo i primi (io sono anche intollerante al lattosio e trovo assurdo che non ci sia un’alternativa qualunque..anche una pasta al pomodoro - se fossi stata oltre che intollerante, vegetariana, rimanevo digiuna), e prendiamo quindi due (micro)tagliate con rucola e parmigiano (20€ l’una per forse 2 etti di carne condite con solo rucola e parmigiano, non funghi che allora spiegano il costo..alla faccia! 😅). Peccato perché comunque il cibo era davvero molto buono, cottura della carne perfetta.. Ecco: nota di merito per la scelta di portare frutta fresca e caffè in moka, scelta dell’oste che però non si può far ricadere sul cliente mettendo un coperto a 4€ (manco da cracco) mangiando con le tovagliette di carta..in sintesi: 1 antipasto, due secondi e un contorno, una bottiglia di vino (15€), acqua e caffè=80€. Decisamente troppo. Ah, il locale è bandito ai cani.

It's a shame for today's unpleasant situation in which a (I think new) sales assistant, on her own initiative and to reach the weight of the tray, added a flavor of her choice instead of simply adding one of the ones we had originally asked for.
