12/03/2026: We celebrated a birthday with the whole family at this restaurant. Let me start by saying we know the place well, the owner is always kind, and we've always had great food. Yesterday, however, something happened that left a bitter taste in our mouths. We had brought a cake, and after celebrating, the waitress offered to cut it for us. We told her we'd rather cut it ourselves (because some people like larger slices, others smaller ones), but she insisted on cutting it, so we insisted, too, and after this back-and-forth, she finally took the cake to the kitchen. The surprise came when we received the bill: a whopping €12 CAKE CUTTING CHARGE. First of all, we hadn't been informed of the amount, and secondly, we didn't want anyone cutting our cake, but they wouldn't listen to us. After expressing our disappointment at the cashier and asking for an explanation, the waitress replied (still rudely) "We always do this with customers," without showing the slightest bit of regret or making any effort to make amends. I'm sorry but we won't be coming back, we felt cheated.

11/03/2026: The pizza was very good, nothing to complain about. The only thing that bothered me was that while we were celebrating our birthday, the waitress (very pushy) insisted on cutting our cake, without even giving us time to finish the celebrations. After the party, we went to pay, and without even telling us in advance, she charged us €12 for the cake cutting! It's not so much the money that's the problem, but the principle: regardless, the customer should know that this service is paid for. Truly shameful. I've always gone to this restaurant, but after this, I doubt I'll ever go back!

26/10/2025: It was recommended to me by a lady from Montefiorino...and I must say it was well recommended!! I was immediately shown to my table, served drinks, bread, and breadsticks, then the gentleman listed the menu for me...plenty of choice between first and second courses. I opted for the cooked and sautéed tortellini with porcini mushrooms, wild boar morsels, and boiled and sautéed potatoes, and a house dessert. Everything was truly excellent. The price was in line with the dishes, the quality of the ingredients, everything homemade, the coffee, and the service. 👏👏

11/01/2026: I've been there more than once, both for lunch and dinner, and I have to give all the stars with honors: in addition to the classics, they have some unique offerings. All very good and carefully prepared, and I've never had salmon tartare like they do. I also commend the Chinese cuisine section; I think the ravioli are homemade and not mass-produced. And to finish, hot sake! Kudos to the staff.

01/01/2026: I've been to the best sushi places in the area, and this one is no exception. Coincidentally, all the one-star ratings come from friends or relatives of other sushi places in Mirandola! Shame, except for this excellent sushi.

07/03/2026: I ordered a half-meter pizza with two toppings, and the overall experience was below expectations. The dough was heavy and the cooking wasn't perfect, as shown in the attached photo. Last but not least, the price: €30 for a half-meter pizza is crazy, I dare say. For that price, I expect a superb pizza. Good service, punctual, and welcoming staff.

01/12/2025: If I'm near one of their stores at breakfast time, I have to stop to eat one of their pastries or croissants, the ones with Italian Chantilly are excellent. In short, the best antidepressant on the market.😊

19/11/2025: We ordered a birthday cake with a crème tarte and Chantilly cream for 10 people... the decorations were sparse and sketchy, the cream wasn't Chantilly but just whipped cream, we paid 42 euros for the cake to eat whipped cream... furthermore, when we picked it up, we wanted croissants for breakfast and we ordered pain au chocolat with honey and walnuts and it felt like we were eating a stick of butter... For years, it was our favorite pastry shop, but after this latest experience, we realized that it has become a second-rate pastry shop that only cares about numbers and no longer about quality.
