01/03/2026: Terrible experience, I ordered home delivery, in addition to being charged different prices than those shown on the website (and confirmed by Justeat), the pizza was flat and not at all risen (it gave me digestion problems), but the worst thing was the chips (in addition to being frozen) were obviously cooked in old oil, in fact they were shiny with black spots and extremely oily. Never again.

10/03/2026: Reservation Cancelled After Two Months – Extremely Poor Service This was one of the most frustrating booking experiences I have ever had. About two months ago, I made a confirmed reservation at Hotel Persico’s through Booking.com for my visit to Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna. The total price of the reservation was around 6,300 DKK (about €840) and the booking was fully confirmed. I received the confirmation and planned my entire trip around it. Then, two months later, and only about one month before my trip, I was suddenly contacted and told that the hotel had made a “price mistake”. They asked me to accept a new total price of €1,584 (around 14,000 DKK) — which is more than double the original price. Of course I refused. The mistake was not mine. I booked in good faith and the reservation had already been confirmed. What is even more disappointing is that Booking.com did not protect the customer. I spoke with customer service three separate times, but they did not help resolve the situation. Instead, the reservation was simply cancelled. By the time they cancelled my booking, prices in the area had already increased because of the event in Bologna, which left me in a very difficult situation. A confirmed booking should mean something. Changing the price months later and cancelling the reservation when the customer refuses to pay more is extremely unprofessional. Very disappointing service from both the hotel and the platform.

28/01/2026: I have stayed at this property several times for extended work stays. The rooms are clean, with disposable toothbrushes and liquid soap. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Finally, a menu that's still on paper, a family-run business with commendable customer service, a small, well-kept place, no chaos, simple food, and a wonderful waitress! Don't expect a fancy menu with innovative options; it's basic, just as it should be to ensure quality, and you won't find it this refined anywhere else. The fish is incredibly fresh, the temperature is perfect, as is the cut. No overpowering sauces to mask the flavors, and they're happy to serve everything without sauces upon request. The portions are adequate, but above all, the peace and quiet. You can talk and laugh, even with the managers. 100% approved. It will be my favorite place. Recommendations: hunter's appetizer, gratinated vegetables, fried and sliced ​​tortelli, cappelletti in broth, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, chocolate salami, and stuffed biscuits. But don't order everything at once: the portions are generous!

I asked for a slice of mortadella for the dog, and she was very kind and generous. It's best to book them beforehand, because if you go late, they'll disappear from the balcony due to the high demand. Mignons cost €38 per kg, but they're still very good. I recommend them.
