When you do a good job, it shows immediately. Here, there's true quality, organization, and attention to detail.
03/08/2026: We enjoyed a wonderful and delicious dinner in a truly unique atmosphere. The two owners are truly committed to the well-being of their guests. Unfortunately, the lovely evening was cut short by the earthquake. But the owner maintained composure even in this exceptional situation and immediately had us take refuge under the architrave outside the restaurant.

23/08/2026: We had dinner with my family on the lakeside terrace. Overall, we ate well, but I thought the prices were a bit high given the quality and the location.
02/08/2026: On Saturday evening, after dinner, we went for a drink at Akademia. We found the prices absurdly high, and the €2 per person surcharge (even just for a drink) unjustifiable for a few chips and olives. The service was sometimes nonexistent, sometimes incompetent. The place is gorgeous, but the heat made us so uncomfortable that we decided to leave. The fans were reserved for only a select few.

21/04/2026: A disappointing experience, to say the least...
Both for the quality of the dishes, saving some peace and quiet, and for the quantities, decidedly insufficient for the number of diners.
And I'll explain.
Appetizer for 8: 4 meatballs, 4 salami wafers, 4 small pieces of cheese, 4 slices of ham, and 4 slices of pancetta.
First course: Pasta alla Genovese, clearly overcooked (and at this point, even better) without the usual piece of stew and in a "baby" portion; second course: 4 slices of meat: decent, but not enough for the boasted 350/400g per portion, which barely reached 150g; then 4 potato wedges and 2 lettuce leaves; Two bottles of wine and three bottles of water, then three coffees...
The final price was completely out of proportion to the meal consumed, and above all, an unpleasant surprise: THERE IS NO MENU, WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED for many reasons
(Article 180 of Royal Decree No. 635 of 1940, still in force, with fines of up to €3,000), two of which are TRANSPARENCY (I NEED to know the individual cost of the dishes offered, their seasonality, whether they are frozen at source, and the cover charge) and, another crucial thing, ALLERGENS!!! ALLERGENS MUST BE SPECIFIED, as this violates Legislative Decree 231/2017 (regulated since 2011), with fines of up to €24,000.00, and criminal prosecution is also possible if an allergic reaction with more or less serious consequences occurs.
Now, if the managers are farsighted, they will view this comment as sound advice and not criticism; otherwise, everyone is free to do what they deem most appropriate and persist in their own behavior.
But anyway, we won't be returning.
19/04/2026: We were invited for lunch, but the extremely disorganized managers clearly couldn't manage the reservations and left us without lunch, literally ruining our day.
But the worst part is that they didn't even apologize for their lack of organization.
Terrible place and terrible management.
Stay away!

25/09/2024: A 25 cl draft beer for 5 euros simply looks like a trap for tourists. Especially since I tried to find out the price before consuming, not understanding Italian, I felt that I would not obtain any information. Move on, that's advice.
27/07/2024: Good pizza and also fresh products, a tip, I took a chicken cutlet, it was practically less than 50g, all curled up. You can't serve a second course like that at the table. You have to improve so as not to lose customers.

01/05/2025: Ci siamo sposati in questa location meravigliosa il 14 Aprile di quest’anno ed è stato tutto meraviglioso! Lo staff si è messo a disposizione su tutto, la qualità e quantità del cibo al top e abbiamo fatto una bellissima figura con i nostri ospiti. E’ stato tutto perfetto, dalla musica con Lisio, al servizio ai tavoli e organizzazione del catering. Grazie a Sabrina che è pronta ad ascoltare ogni minimo desiderio degli sposi e realizzarlo, come ha fatto con noi. Grazie ad Elsa per i bellissimi addobbi dei tavoli. Che dire, Nessuna nota negativa.
30/04/2025: Una favola diventata realtà – 19 Aprile, il nostro giorno perfetto a Villa Posillipo
Fin dal primo istante in cui abbiamo messo piede a Villa Posillipo, ce ne siamo innamorati. La bellezza del luogo, l’eleganza degli spazi e quella vista mozzafiato ci hanno subito fatto capire che sarebbe stato il posto perfetto per celebrare il nostro matrimonio. E così è stato.
Vivendo in Olanda avevamo un po’ di timore nell’organizzare tutto da lontano, ma Sabrina è stata fantastica: sempre disponibile, gentile e velocissima nel rispondere a ogni nostra domanda.
Il matrimonio è stato perfetto. Tutto curato nei minimi dettagli, cibo delizioso, staff professionale e super accogliente. I nostri invitati, arrivati da tutta Europa, sono rimasti incantati.
Villa Posillipo non è stata solo una location, ma lo sfondo perfetto per un sogno che si è realizzato. Siamo grati per tutto e, col senno di poi, possiamo dire con il cuore che non avremmo potuto fare scelta migliore.

21/07/2025: Prima volta qui. Nessuna attesa. Ci hanno subito servito un antipasto con frittura di mare e di terra. Poi abbiamo preso gnocchi ai frutti di mare, il dolce e liquore. Tutto ottimo, anzi di più. Prezzo nella norma. Il proprietario è simpaticissimo, ti mette a tuo agio ed è disponibilissimo ad ogni richiesta. Sarà il nostro punto di riferimento per il futuro. Devo assaggiare assolutamente la pizza.
