16/09/2025: I had the pleasure of celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary at Villa Alba and couldn't have been more pleased. The food was excellent, prepared with care and flavor, and every course was enjoyed by all the guests. The staff was extremely professional, courteous, and attentive to every detail, something that is not at all a given these days. A special thanks goes to Mr. Giovanni, always available and ready to satisfy every need. Villa Alba helped make this day truly special and unforgettable!

22/10/2025: Excellent concept, recently renovated with a more welcoming dining room and much more seating, offering a wide selection of Campania specialties, from pizza to panuozzo, to strictly high-quality meats. The coffee is also excellent.

09/10/2025: Uncle Tom's name is a guarantee. The service is top-notch, as are the meat and all the ingredients they use to top their sandwiches.
The huge dining room is hard to find a seat. They also have a private room for private events. The staff is friendly and helpful.

07/09/2025: On our way back from the Ligabue concert, we found this well-kept and clean little place to stop for a post-concert bite. The owners and staff were incredibly helpful, and the food was excellent, which we were able to sample precisely because the owners kept the kitchen open later than expected. A lovely terrace and a very well-kept and well-appointed atmosphere completed the pleasant evening. Thank you so much for your hospitality, and sorry, but I was so hungry and the cured meats and cheese platter was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo. The eggplant meatballs are also delicious, definitely worth trying! The impressive selection of wines and spirits certainly allows you to try a variety of flavors, even those from faraway places. I noticed some Japanese spirits, very interesting!

31/08/2025: I attended an event at the Il Trinchetto restaurant in Scatozza (Castelvolturno), and I have to say the place is beautiful: clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with food that, when it's hot, tastes really good.
Unfortunately, there were several service issues: some dishes arrived cold, and the waiters didn't seem particularly attentive or responsive to requests. At a 50th birthday party, the DJ set was practically nonexistent: the DJ sang poorly, was unprofessional, and didn't meet our expectations.
We asked the DJ to bring a video projector for a surprise video, but he replied, "I don't have to keep the video projector, you have to keep it. I'm not a photographer." In the end, only the big screen arrived, without the necessary projector.
In practice, the DJ set was all that was missing was a glass of wine and a host.
Additionally, post-event customer service was disappointing: when calling for information, they provided incorrect numbers or incorrect contact information, making it difficult to get assistance.
In summary, Il Trinchetto is a very beautiful place with excellent food, but the waiter service and DJ set were unfortunately very poor and need improvement if they are to ensure a complete guest experience.

11/06/2025: The pizza is excellent. The environment is not elegant, but familiar, quiet and well-kept. On the tables there are tablecloths and cloth napkins. The staff is kind and welcoming, always with a smile. The selection of pizzas is wide, I recommend the classic ones rather than the gourmet ones. The wait is limited. On holidays and days before holidays it is always better to book. One flaw: the selection of desserts is limited. Despite this I often go back.

It was a beautiful evening in a truly worthy location. Recommended.

It gets very busy towards the weekend, so arrive early (when the restaurant opens). Otherwise, expect a long wait outside.
