A pizzeria that was once a benchmark, yet has stopped moving with the times.
Very light dough, very good pizza, but the 3 stars refer to the lack of innovation.
The menu is simple, featuring only traditional pizzas. There isn't a particular or more gourmet pizza.
Perhaps the anchovy and zucchini flower pizza was an attempt in this direction, but it disappointed us. There were no flowers; just two, burnt and tasteless. It wasn't worth the price.
The cover charge (€2.50) is too high.
The desire to make good pizza is there, as is the commitment; this review should simply be an invitation to modernize, a push.
We hope to return and see a more innovative approach.

Large and welcoming place! We booked the day before for the next day and found availability right away. There were four of us and we dined on a Saturday night, no line and no wait. We ordered four different pizzas, two bottles of water, two Cokes, two glasses of amaro, and the total was €71, a fair price, medium/high but now normal. Only the cover charge was really too high, we're talking €2.50 per person. The pizza was very good, really tasty, and rich in toppings. The waiters were a bit slow, almost seemed disoriented and unable to approach the customers.

Carlo Sammarco's pizzas are all good quality, with a wide variety, from classic to contemporary. The atmosphere is welcoming. Carlo Sammarco works hard with his family. They're always welcoming and smiling.
You never leave disappointed, but with the intention of returning to try their other delicacies. You're a pizza master! And not just pizza!

We were there for the inauguration of the 10 years of business, and I must say that everything was fantastic with buffets that varied from pizza to wallet to doughnuts with spit and other drinks, the owners 💯💯💯

The Quality of the Ingredients: The pizzas are simply extraordinary. The dough is incredibly light, easy to digest, and has a high, fluffy crust (contemporary style). The focus on high-quality ingredients is immediately evident, from the flavorful tomatoes to the freshest mozzarella.
