29/12/2024: Paterfamilias is located in the historic center of Paternopoli, in the beating heart of Irpinia, one of the most noble and ancient lands in Italy. The structure is housed in the cellars of an ancient palace with arches and tuff walls. Francesco, the owner, is a person who deeply loves the area and makes you feel at home. Excellent quality food and a wine that is a compendium of the entire Irpinia tradition.

03/01/2025: This Inn really enchanted me! I went here for lunch with friends on New Year's Day. The place is very welcoming and particular praise goes to the service, which is impeccable and highly professional. Even though we created quite a few problems with delays and multiple orders, the staff never lost their calm and were always disarmingly courteous and attentive. The menu is rich and the dishes are executed with skill and well presented, the chef is really good! who at the end of lunch also came to introduce himself and wish him well. Lastly, the bill, much more than honest. Truly a place to return to as soon as possible!!!

Fast and courteous service, the ability to order and pay yourself thanks to a touch device is a plus. Absolutely worth trying

05/11/2024: Erano giorni che desideravo una pizza, dopo tanto viaggio siamo arrivati a Frigento. Balú, una scoperta MERAVIGLIOSA! Io ho preso una pizza, una semplice margherita con aggiunta di una burrata, mentre mio marito ha preso dell' agnello con funghi cardoncelli e porcini. Prima di questi si è preso un antipasto, crudo e mozzarella più delle verdurine miste di accompagno. Siamo soddisfatti al massimo. Una precisazione a qualche MUERTO DE FAM... Ragazzo, quello qui sotto il mio commento, se vuoi pagare 10€ in 4 ci stanno pure le fogne. La qualità vale, se non sei abituato ad andare in giro statte a la casa toia, ma non parlare male di un locale che merita veramente un plauso, per qualità, cortesia, ambiente pulito ed elegante, personale cortese e non c'è proprio nulla da dire! Tanto per la cronaca, tutto quello che si è mangiato, e tre bottiglie d' acqua, 55€.... Se è troppo allora forse siete abituati alla roba da discount....

04/01/2025: Yet another "Gourmet" pizzeria in Avellino. A little cramped environment, not suitable for children and, above all, strollers. The front room, being in the oven area, is very hot. Decent pizzas, slightly expensive but overall quite good. However, we noticed that almost all of them tended to have a large part of the cornice, leaving little space for the "seasoned" part. They offer a multi-cereal dough that left us rather "perplexed". We also tasted a sort of focaccia praised by the waitress as an alien goodness... essentially a bruschettone (not even too "one") with pizza dough cooked until crunchy. Very ordinary and very expensive (2 pieces 22 euros). Very attentive waitresses and very good at "telling" the menu which, unfortunately, being digital only, requires a connection which is poor in the restaurant. There is wifi which must be connected with a QR code which, however, was defined as invalid on more than one phone. Cost of products a little too high. Would I go back? Probably not, there are pizzerias in the square that offer better products at more reasonable prices. We spent just over 200 euros for 8 pizzas, 2 bruschettoni, 6 desserts and 8 draft beers and 3 drinks.

03/01/2025: Very courteous and kind staff, excellently cooked pizza, I highly recommend ''the Queen''. The frying is also good. Excellent value for money! Experience to be redone.

10/11/2024: I've been going there for years now. I won't exchange it for anyone. Best price for all you can eat, but especially for takeaway boxes. The service is sometimes slow but otherwise everything is excellent.

24/11/2024: Dopo aver prenotato x farci accomodare fanno spostare altri clienti. X prenotare circa 40 minuti e dopo un'altra lunga attesa arrivano panini con hamburger totalmente crudo. Panini rifatti e hamburger sempre crudo. Ragazza di sala in imbarazzo ma gentilissima. Unica nota lieta.
