15/04/2025: This morning I found myself passing in front of Cesto Bakery and attracted by the smell I decided to go in and my eyes were enraptured by all that goodness. I decided to buy a house since we are approaching Easter. Gentlemen, it was a delicacy filled with incredible dough that melted in your mouth and was rich in all the flavors that should distinguish a CASATIELLO.
Last but not least, the super affordable price for everyone.

Unfortunately, the food is overrated: the fish fry was far too greasy, squid rings were as tough as rubber, and the shrimp were so small that there was almost nothing left after peeling them from the shell. The service could be improved. Overall, the food is too expensive for the quality of the food.

10/01/2026: Excellent dishes. There were nine of us, and we tried a little bit of everything, and everything was good, flavorful, and with just the right amount of attention to presentation. The price was a bit steep considering the house wine.
After two years, we returned to "Pacchiana," and I can confirm that it remains at a truly high level in terms of food quality and presentation. Some new appetizers, and that's what we needed. The grilled meats are standard, but truly superb. I agree with the rating based on the price, but that's fair enough. Right off the BN Caianiello highway, really easy to get to, with ample parking available.
08/01/2026: A big shout out to Renato, who knows how to treat and satisfy his guests in a unique way. Excellent service, beautiful location. A must-see for those of us who appreciate true, unadulterated flavor.

23/11/2025: You walk in, and immediately, inside you, the eternal battle between good and evil unfolds. On one hand, your brain tells you that all that fried food isn't good for you, on the other, your heart, stomach, eyes, and taste buds respond, "No, but how many years do you want to live?" And since the majority always wins, you give in and succumb to the delight of the fried calzones, the giant croquettes with provola and pancetta, the graceful montanare, and the pasta frittatine. You're in a glutton's paradise and you'll want to eat it all. The prices are more than fair, the staff is courteous and fast. You can't pass through Battipaglia without coming here!

They made us feel very comfortable, and the food was homemade, delicious, and the portions were generous. Plus, the restaurant was very quiet. I hope to return to Salerno and have the opportunity to dine at this restaurant again.
10/12/2025: The food was terrible, the service was okay, but I ordered the set menu and it was way too salty. In the end, I left everything. The only edible thing, but it wasn't cooked enough, was the fried calamari, and that was it.
