30/06/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ L’Angolo del Buongustaio – Amantea Small place, but a great discovery! I went to Angolo del Buongustaio during a weekend in Amantea and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, perfect for an informal break. The staff was kind and quick in their service. I tried several things and every bite was a confirmation: the pizza is well cooked, with a light and digestible dough. Even the fried foods (panzerotti and arancini) are delicious: crunchy on the outside, stringy on the inside and not at all greasy. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. You can feel the care in the products and in the preparation. A place without frills, but with lots of taste and authenticity. If you are in Amantea and you want something good, you can go here for sure! I would gladly go back.

31/10/2025: Unfortunately, what I ate wasn't to my liking. I was looking for a stuffed pasta, but it was all frozen. The same goes for the desserts. I don't recommend them.

30/10/2025: I'm always impressed by the price and quality. The quality is much better than tourist standards for Italian food. Great prices, even for fresh lobster (€20), but you can also get pizza for €4.50. I really like the chef; I have a vacation home there.

20/09/2025: Everything was top notch! I'm giving it 4 stars only because some of the young waitresses were a bit rude, the prices are very high, and they were reluctant to offer bitter coffees or grappas at the end of the meal.

25/10/2025: One day, while passing through, we stopped at this place. It has a sea view. The fish dishes are very good, especially with the scent of the sea. The staff is friendly. The prices are fair. Thanks, we'll see you again.

24/09/2025: Very attentive and comedic server! The food was fine, and we got some gelato and snacks for the beach after. Great view and close to the beach.

20/10/2025: Total disappointment at shocking prices, even for me, who travels constantly and is used to eating anywhere! Two simple pizzas and a small beer cost €30, but anywhere else would cost no more than €18-20.

03/09/2025: Excellent pizzeria and more, just back from a trip to Pentidattilo. Good service, we were seated right away even without a reservation: inside, the atmosphere is refined, new, and clean. A small snack is served at the table, along with a bottle of cold water. Excellent pizzas, from simple to gourmet, at various prices. Air conditioning. The only flaw: the balcony overlooking the street, where cars pass by, but inside, it's fabulous, insulated from the noise. The best pizza on the Ionian coast from Melito to Brancaleone. It's unmatched, and we've been there all summer.

02/11/2025: The wines are amazing, as are the ingredients used. The staff is amazing, very knowledgeable and kind. Special mention for Ivan, incredibly talented at explaining each product, friendly and charismatic. We'll definitely be back.

31/07/2025: Ci ritorno sempre con voglia sia per gli ottimi piatti, variegati ed abbondanti, sia per il beverage Ferrocinto. Sono stato consigliato da Ivan a provare il Rosato del Pollino, che dire... qualità eccelsa che ha rafforzato la già ottima location, pulita ed accogliente con il personale sorridente e presente che ti fa sentire veramente coccolato. Ovvio che siiiii!!!! Alla prossima!!!!

21/08/2025: We happened to be on the road to Melito Porto Salvo and noticed the sign for this pub. Strange... I'd never noticed it before, I'm from Reggio Calabria. I called to make sure it was open, and the lady on the phone confirmed it was open. When we arrived, we sat on the terrace outside, where tables had been moved outside due to the summer months. After asking for the QR code for the menu, we noticed the extensive menu offered by the place, which was truly impressive. We opted for two hamburgers with fries. The waitress came quickly to take our order, and we didn't even have to wait long for the sandwiches to arrive at our tables. The beers were well-tasted (there's a good selection), perfectly cold, and the sandwiches were excellent and delicious. I must really compliment the service, as the girls were always present. Overall, I have to say it was a great discovery. I'll gladly return.

20/08/2025: The third time in a month, it deserves a review. The octopus sandwiches are the best I've ever had, the burgers are undoubtedly homemade, the bread is perfect, the menu offers a wide selection for everyone, and the prices are excellent. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Definitely worth a try, you'll be back.

12/10/2025: Delicious Roman-style pizza, beef tagliata that can be cut without a knife, good, plentiful, and oil-free clumsy potatoes, but a pizza chef with the moves of someone who knows his job, Mr. Filice N1... worth the kilometers we traveled to get there...
