08/03/2026: We've been to this refuge three times and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food, the service, and the courtesy of the staff, despite the fact that it's always crowded. Compliments to all the staff.

here every table becomes a little chimera.
Friendliness welcomes and puts you in a good mood,
and cuisine that captivates you at first taste.
The Valpellinentze soup truly warms the heart, while the polenta is a genuine pleasure.
Beautiful and carefully prepared platters whet your appetite,
and the rösti is elegant and beautifully served.
Delicious burgers, made with great care,
and the gnocchi with Bleu d'Aoste... perhaps the best in the region!
And then the wine cellar: incredible, a true temptation,
a little paradise for every tasting.
Extremely kind staff, smiles at every moment,
a heartfelt thank you to everyone!

14/09/2025: We went for dinner on a Friday evening. The place is spacious, with plenty of seating, but the decor is a bit bland. We ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses (the lard was very good, but the other cured meats were bland) and the bourguignon (tender and plentiful, with a variety of salted meats to accompany it).
The bill wasn't exactly cheap (about €50 per person with wine).

26/01/2026: I received a very warm welcome from the staff, who spoke excellent French. The food was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I went there the week of January 17th to 24th, 2026. It's a family-friendly place, and I highly recommend it.
See you next year!

12/08/2024: Tutto perfetto. Il locale, il personale, la musica e soprattutto il cibo. Il servizio è incantevole, il cibo delizioso. Il locale gode di una vista meravigliosa sulla valle. Lasciatevi stupire da questa perla un po’ nascosta di Torgnon.

17/03/2024: Cambio di gestione infelice. Siamo ritornati dopo il periodo di chiusura per il cambio di gestione e si è trattato di una spiacevole sorpresa. Nonostante la lavagna riportasse, per un pranzo veloce, la possibilità di taglieri, panini, toast, piadine, niente di tutto questo. Alla nostra richiesta ci è stato risposto che avremmo potuto avere toast/panino prosciutto formaggio. Non certo XL, anzi. Ci siamo accontentati ma a veramente caro prezzo. Quindi rapporto tra ciò che abbiamo consumato e prezzo pessimo. Rimpiango il precedente gestore.

09/02/2025: Cioccolata prima della partenza per la sciata di fondo della giornata ottima ma soprattutto le piste da fondo perfette e aperte fino a Champlong, tra le più belle se non le più belle della Valle d'Aosta!
04/01/2025: Ristorante bello ma con prezzi esagerati per la qualità del cibo. Non è male ma 13 euro un piatto di pasta al ragù normalissimo troppo.

02/01/2025: Siamo arrivati al ristorante alle ore 19 (4 adulti e tre bambini) eravamo solamente noi e altri due tavoli. Ordiniamo e per fortuna le due cotolette dei bambini sono arrivate subito, Le pizze invece: non pervenute! dopo 1 ora e mezza di attesa, 6 tavoli che ci sono passati davanti e diverse sollecitazioni abbiamo deciso di andarcene. Abbiamo fatto presente la situazione alla proprietaria che, oltre a non essersi nemmeno scusata ci ha fatto pagare pure il coperto! A dir poco imbarazzante.
28/10/2024: Materie prime di qualità preparate con passione. Trovare del pesce fresco a Torgnon è stata una bella sorpresa. Dolci fatti in casa spettacolari. Servizio impeccabile, ci siamo sentiti a casa nostra. Peccato che alcuni prezzi siano oggettivamente ingiustificabili: pagare 25,00 euro una frittura di pesce tenerissima - in Valle D’Aosta - è corretto ma sinceramente non c’è motivo di chiedere 4,00 euro per una lattina di Coca-Cola, 4,00 euro per un caffè o 7,00 euro per un semplice piatto di patatine fritte (peraltro cotte usando lo stesso olio della frittura di pesce…). Due fritture, due hamburger, quattro dessert, acqua, Coca-Cola e due caffè 142,00 euro.
