05/01/2025: We had dinner at the tavern on January 3, 2025, we were still fresh from New Year's Eve dinner, so we ordered a few courses. We had dinner with excellent cappelletti in broth and stewed vegetables, accompanied by good wine from the region
After dinner we had moments of extraordinary conviviality with the owners.
We will not fail to return there during our escapes in Umbria.

08/11/2024: Un’esperienza culinaria fantastica alla Locanda del Capitano! Ogni piatto era una scoperta di sapori autentici e raffinati, curato nei dettagli e presentato in modo eccellente. Lo chef, Giancarlo Politi ha saputo accompagnarci in questo viaggio di sapori di bosco con un suggerimento di vino perfetto per esaltare ogni portata, dimostrando grande competenza e passione. Un ristorante che trasmette amore per la cucina e per l'ospitalità. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca una vera esperienza gourmet, sentendosi come a casa! Posto incantevole

16/12/2024: Welcomed with friendly professionalism. The table for two right in front of a splendid large window with a wonderful view of valleys, hills and snow-capped peaks. The goodness of the dishes completed this lunch break of the highest level, at reasonable prices.

04/01/2025: The restaurant located in Montone not far from Perugia, about 30 minutes by car, never going into too much detail I can only say that it is one of those restaurants where you want to go back and as far as I'm concerned there are very few, excellent hospitality, excellent food all in one location really relaxing and tastefully furnished. I will definitely go back. Compliments

11/09/2024: Posto un pò datato, decisamente da riammodernare perchè a prima vista la sala quella sopra, (non parlo del sotto dove c'è la piscina) non si presenta bene, se infatti dovessi dare una valutazione solo per la location non sarebbe proprio il massimo.. Però si mangia bene, abbiamo preso primi, secondi e dolce con caffè. Tempi di attesa perfetti tra una portata e l'altra, abbiamo apprezzato tutto, in modo particolare i primi piatti, tutto veramente squisito. Gentile e disponibile anche l'operatrice di sala che ci ha seguito, veramente tanto cortese. Consigliato a chi non ha grandi pretese sulla location, ma vuole mangiare bene e si trova di passaggio a Montone. Prezzi in linea.
