22/09/2025: You'll find traditional cuisine with extra-regional influences, whose strength lies in its creative gems, which are hard to find in this price range. I recommend a visit even for those who don't like truffles, as many dishes don't contain them.
06/09/2025: A restaurant to go and savor everything. I've truly never eaten so well! The owner is truly a delightful person, very passionate about his craft and a great truffle connoisseur. The place is a gem. It's not very large, seating 16 max, but it has the style of a Michelin-starred restaurant. We went for lunch and ordered some dishes to savor. The cod is truly one of the most incredible things ever. The premium bruschetta with double truffle is also absurd. Not to mention the tagliolini with truffle... exceptional!! For the second course, we opted for another appetizer, hand-chopped beef tartar (Fassona). Excellent with all the fruit and sauce combinations. Not to mention the desserts, which were truly worthy of a place of this kind. We had vanilla ice cream, pistachio semifreddo with truffle, and tiramisu, a revisited tiramisu that was truly excellent!! To accompany this experience, we chose a red wine, Boccatone, which enhances the flavor of the truffles sublimely. And to finish, a delicious pear cognac!! Come and you'll be captivated by an explosion of flavors and sensations.

17/09/2025: An elegant restaurant for families and couples' dinners. I celebrated our wedding anniversary here last Saturday with my husband and our groomsmen.
The space could use a bit of a refresh; the decor is decidedly cluttered (and the heavy curtains are full of dust).
On the other hand, the food is delicious! We were looked after by a staff who welcomed and pampered us from first to last bite, offering tastings whenever we were unsure (the menu offers a truly vast selection of local dishes with fine ingredients, from appetizers to dessert). The skill of the server, hand-slicing the prosciutto at the table without a stand, was uncommon: it was like watching a master play the violin.
I really enjoyed the house appetizer, which wasn't on the menu, where we sampled all the chef's dishes (obviously with a less prized truffle than the individual dishes). The tortelli al Sagrantino were a delightful discovery, as was the lamb, cooked to perfection. To round things off, I tried the peaches with Chantilly cream... What can I say, I wasn't expecting such a generous portion! Lastly, the wine list, both regional and international, offers excellent options!
We paid, with two bottles of wine, about €75 each, absolutely well spent for the experience. A heartfelt thank you for making the evening memorable!

26/08/2025: Four of us went for lunch. Our daughters had two very large vegetarian appetizers with lots of delicious ingredients. My wife and I had strangozzi with truffles and Spoleto-style, both excellent, and a truly exceptional mixed grill. Homemade desserts, etc. Highly recommended!

02/09/2025: The food is disgusting. There were 13 of us, we all ordered different dishes and all the dishes were not tasty. The steaks were served raw and cold, we had to send them back for additional frying, the lamb meat, which probably ran 100 years ago, was impossible to chew, the spaghetti with mushrooms was terribly salty. We did not like it at all.

21/09/2025: We had lunch outside on a beautiful mid-September day. The setting is truly picture-perfect, and the service and food were top-notch. The fried fish and trout were very good... we'll definitely try them again.
10/09/2025: The restaurant overlooks the eponymous "Fonti del Clitunno." It offers a charming and relaxing view. The facility is divided into a bar area and a restaurant with a wood-fired pizzeria. We had lunch at the restaurant, with the option of choosing between indoor and outdoor dining. We chose a traditional dish from the à la carte menu: Strangozzi alla Spoletina (first course), and also ordered tagliatella with Chianina beef ragù (first course), and a beef fillet with baked potatoes (second course). The cuisine was excellent. The facility also features an outdoor play area for children (with swings and inflatables). Therefore, highly recommended for families. There is ample free outdoor parking. The waiters were very friendly. The owner, always available, is truly exceptional. A great experience!

14/06/2025: Se il buongiorno si vede dal mattino… non ero mai stato in Umbria e ho avuto la grande fortuna di trovare un posto come questo, dove la gentilezza la qualità dei prodotti e l’accoglienza di sicuro non sono mancati… Colazione strepitosa con torte fatte in casa… e tanta cortesia… ho letto recensioni che si lamentano della strada! Non riesco a capirlo, abitando in Piemonte per noi le strade così sono uno standard… ringrazio lo staff per l’ospitalità e non vedo l’ora di ritornarci… Grazie davvero ce ne vorrebbero tanti di ristoranti così…🧡🧡🧡🧡

05/10/2025: Very nice location, BUT, incredibly long waits and little respect for the customer: an hour after ordering, we were told that the dishes we had ordered were sold out. 30 seconds later, the same dishes were brought to the next table (who had ordered later). At the next table was a famous actress.
21/09/2025: We went fishing with our community in a very dirty lake, algae everywhere every time you took out the trout, sick fish, plastic in the water, such a dirty place I have never seen. I advise you not to go to the sport fishing lakes, it is better and you will have much more fun.

22/11/2024: In vacanza in zona mi viene consigliato il ristorante Fontanelle, mai scelta fu più azzeccata, arrivo verso le 12.00 e chiedo se era possibile mangiare, ci dicono di sì ma che è presto, comunque ci accompagnano al tavolo e che avremmo dovuto aspettare un pochino, essendo in vacanza e non avendo fretta rispondo di non preoccuparsi, si ripresenta dopo 10 minuti con due bruschette per ingannare l'attesa ( pensiero gentilissimo ed apprezzato) poi arriva il figlio Alessandro che ci consegna i menù e prende l'ordine, sentendomi non apprezzare il tartufo ed essendo lui un cercatore di tartufi, ci spiega bene cosa sono i tartufi (confesso la mia ignoranza in materia) e ritorna dopo poco con due bruschettine con crema di tartufi, lo ringrazio ma gli ripeto sia io che mia moglie non apprezziamo il tartufo... alla fine con un pò di insistenza mi riesce a far assaggiare la bruschetta wow buonissima, mi sarei preso a sberle da solo per le volte che ho snobbato il tartufo. Proseguiamo con fettuccine in bianco al ragù di chianina (eccezionali fatte in casa) e tagliata al rosmarino con patatine fritte, sublimi. Che dire ho prenotato anche per il pranzo di domani, sapori autentici portati avanti con sapienza. Ho comprato anche l'olio e una boccia di vino.
Consigliatissimo e se posso ci ritornerò con i miei amici.

21/04/2025: Tutto sempre impeccabile! Siamo tornati anche quest’anno per festeggiare la Pasqua in famiglia… e come si mangia bene qui! Ci si sente davvero come a casa, grazie al personale caloroso e gentilissimo. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo? Ottimo! Buona Pasqua a tutti… e se non ci siete ancora stati, correte a provarlo
