03/03/2026: We went as a group, eight of us. Nice place with a typical Trentino atmosphere. Excellent food, though with its ups and downs. The egg was considered excellent, as was the carne salada, the venison, and the dessert. The stuffed tortelli were average. The porchetta rabbit was very dry and not up to par, and we didn't like the game fettuccine either. Very friendly, professional, and welcoming service. Prices are moderately high. Overall, a good experience.

13/12/2025: Very beautiful location. Very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Excellent cuisine. I've been there three times already, and the quality is very high. A strong point is the spa, which is very large. Some negatives: 1) There is no waiter service in the spa, in the relaxation areas. For example, to get a smoothie or any other drink or snack, you have to go to the bar, which is on another floor. Since you spend most of your time in the spa, this is a problem. 2) Swimsuits are prohibited in the saunas and Turkish baths. The reason is that "swims are bad for your body when you're in high temperatures." If this is the reason, once guests are informed, I think they could decide for themselves whether or not to wear swimsuits. This is not the case. But that's not the sore point: I remembered that it was mandatory to use a towel instead of a swimsuit (as indeed indicated on various signs like the one attached). In reality, it's full of completely naked people, even moving around the saunas and Turkish baths completely naked. It's effectively become a place for nudists/naturists. Personally, I don't mind it at all, nor does it cause me any problems. However, since minors (aged 16 and over) are also allowed access, I think it's a problem. Besides that, in any case, it should be clearly stated when booking that swimsuits are prohibited in the saunas and Turkish baths and full nudity is mandatory. 3) Very nice rooms. However, the TVs aren't completely smart; they only have Netflix, plus Google Chromecast, which mostly doesn't work. Given the price (and quality) of the location, I think it wouldn't take much to improve this. 4) The spa, while very beautiful, hasn't looked the same as it has for years. I think the wellness area could use some improvements: LED light treatments, infrared treatments, and something wellness/longevity-related, for example. In any case, I reiterate my very positive review.

04/03/2026: We've been going to the Hermitgae as a family for many years and it's one of my favourite hotels. Why? It's family run, big enough to have everything you need including a not huge, but swimmable decent indoor pool and spa, but small enough to be personal. The location is in a quiet wooded spot just outside Madonna with stunning views. Rooms are good and service excellent and there is a friendly minibus to take you into town or the lifts always available Most people go half board - the breakfast is excellent with delicious fresh breads, home baked patisserie, hams, salamis and mountain cheeses along woth perfectly cooked eggs to order, pancakes etc, yoghurts, fresh juices - only complaint is they could do with a decent museli, but you can order properly made porrage - and the coffee, top, along with teas. The dinner this year was the best we have had, strating with a grilled veg and salad buffet with hams, smoked salmon and cold roast beef, then choices of pasta/soup course, brilliant main course and stunning desserts - they also do excellent home-made tea time pastries included Madonna itself is medium-sized, low built resort full of, 3 and 4* family run hotels with some very good cafes and shops - the slopes are varied, maybe not Val d'isere, but pretty good with some v demanding blacks and excellent independent-run ski restaurants. Efficient lifts and snow making means conditions are always good, even though it sometimes gets busy at peak as the area is popular now with Poles and Czechs - overall, magical place, very friendly, the Dolomites beat the Alps in my view and as long as you are not into glitzy 6* spiv hotels, Bio Hermitage is the best you can get!

18/03/2026: A fantastic place for both a quick dinner and a delicious late lunch. The beef was cooked to perfection, the sauces were delicious, the salsa was excellent, everything was worth recommending, and the desserts... 15 out of 10. I highly recommend it, but I recommend booking a table because it's hard to find a table in the evenings.

28/09/2025: For many, many years now, we've been retreating to Madonna di Campiglio whenever we get the chance, and the Cristal Palace Hotel is a jewel in its crown. You can enjoy a breathtaking view... peace, tranquility, and a truly magical atmosphere... holidays here are simply a fairytale! The rooms are wonderful, impeccably clean... the food is top-notch... and then??? And then the staff... is nothing short of amazing... super welcoming and helpful: Ottavia, Massamba at reception, the Maître d' in the dining room with Giuseppe and the others—I hope I don't mind because I don't remember all their names—Isabella, the SPA manager (unique).... they make you feel at home... pampered in every way possible... so not only do I highly recommend it... but I think it's an experience you absolutely must have, one you'll remember tomorrow, the day after, and forever. 26/09/2025: I just finished a review on Booking.com and felt it was my duty to leave it here on Google, because it's only right that passion and professionalism be recognized. From the first to the last moment, everything was impeccable: a warm welcome, a staff always smiling and helpful, spaces meticulously maintained, and a level of comfort that exceeded all expectations. It's classified as a 4*S, but the truth is, it fully deserves a 5-star rating... and maybe even more! We ended our vacation perfectly, just as we hoped: total relaxation, pampering, and quality in every service. Thank you so much to all the staff: you made us feel special. We will definitely be back!

23/01/2026: I’m going to start by saying the 1 star reviews have to be fake? It’s just not possible. My boyfriend and I have come here for probably the 8th time for lunch or dinner. We have a cottage up the road. For context my boyfriend is a Milanese man - knows his Italian food and I from South Africa an international with a different perspective and an eye for what feels authentic and local. The restaurant we are always welcomed by the same staff over the last 2 years , always greeted with smiles , with attention , never left waiting. Never left with an order that arrived to our table cold. The food is our favourite , clean ingredients , great dishes. Bread and herbed home made butter. The wines — there are so many good choices. The desserts again to die for you have to try the strudel. Everytime we are served with clean table cloth, no marks on cutlery, all clean cutlery and super friendly service. I highly recommend this place! Again and again.

27/07/2025: Now a regular stop when I'm in the Pinzolo area, I can't help but stock up on their Brunilde beer, although all their beers are worth a try. They've deservedly earned their place among my favorite craft breweries.

15/03/2026: A very nice hotel, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The common areas are very well-maintained, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. We opted for half-board, and the dinner was always excellent and varied. The spa area with pool, Turkish bath, and sauna is also very nice. The owners are extremely polite and always available, as is all the staff. We've stayed in several 4-star hotels in Madonna di Campiglio, but this hotel is every bit as good as the superior ones! Highly recommended!
