13/12/2025: Very beautiful location. Very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Excellent cuisine. I've been there three times already, and the quality is very high. A strong point is the spa, which is very large. Some negatives: 1) There is no waiter service in the spa, in the relaxation areas. For example, to get a smoothie or any other drink or snack, you have to go to the bar, which is on another floor. Since you spend most of your time in the spa, this is a problem. 2) Swimsuits are prohibited in the saunas and Turkish baths. The reason is that "swims are bad for your body when you're in high temperatures." If this is the reason, once guests are informed, I think they could decide for themselves whether or not to wear swimsuits. This is not the case. But that's not the sore point: I remembered that it was mandatory to use a towel instead of a swimsuit (as indeed indicated on various signs like the one attached). In reality, it's full of completely naked people, even moving around the saunas and Turkish baths completely naked. It's effectively become a place for nudists/naturists. Personally, I don't mind it at all, nor does it cause me any problems. However, since minors (aged 16 and over) are also allowed access, I think it's a problem. Besides that, in any case, it should be clearly stated when booking that swimsuits are prohibited in the saunas and Turkish baths and full nudity is mandatory. 3) Very nice rooms. However, the TVs aren't completely smart; they only have Netflix, plus Google Chromecast, which mostly doesn't work. Given the price (and quality) of the location, I think it wouldn't take much to improve this. 4) The spa, while very beautiful, hasn't looked the same as it has for years. I think the wellness area could use some improvements: LED light treatments, infrared treatments, and something wellness/longevity-related, for example. In any case, I reiterate my very positive review.

The restaurant was a pleasant discovery: the staff were knowledgeable and welcoming, the dishes showcased the local cuisine with meticulous attention to detail and pairings, and the location was elegant, overlooking the Dolomites. Excellent value for money. I recommend it to anyone in the area; I'll definitely be back!

07/01/2026: Our experience leads us to point out a serious lapse in style committed by the owner, or rather, the person responsible. Here are the facts: there were two of us in a rather anonymous dinner. We ordered a first and a second course. (see photo) The dish, although delicious, namely beef cheek, contained a good deal of fat, i.e., sinew and cartilage, which unfortunately can happen with this type of meat, especially if the chef is distracted and doesn't remove it. After finishing, we reported the inconvenience to the waitress, who apologized and told us she'd report it to the kitchen. Once at the cash register, the gentleman present asked us how our dinner went, clearly unaware of everything. We reiterated the mistake and the lack of attention given to the dish, which unfortunately was a third of the way through. It's important to point out that the cost of the dish was the modest sum of €28. This esteemed host apologized and deducted €2.50 from our €60 dinner! What a lapse in style! I'd advise this guy to apply for a job at the post office and leave the restaurant business to someone who cares not only about money but also about sensitivity and care towards their guests. Let's just hope that with these prices, people start to think carefully about where to spend their money! Goodbye.

06/01/2026: An elegant and refined restaurant where you can find excellent dishes with sophisticated combinations and flavors. The portions are a bit small, especially considering the price, but the food is definitely delicious and high-quality.

16/01/2026: Lovely family run hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful. A little out of town but shuttle bus available free of charge. That however is made up for by the stunning views (phoyos of mountains from it room). The food was very good and restaurant manager Giovanni was delightful and very funny. Giuseppe in the bar, the same. Great sauna and pool area. Old school European hospitality - Bravo.

09/12/2025: Reservations are recommended to ensure availability without having to wait. At the time of reservation, we were shown to the table without delay and served very quickly, especially considering the large influx of customers. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The quality of the homemade products is very high, and the price reflects the logistics costs for the procurement of raw materials. We will definitely be back.

07/12/2025: We stopped for lunch at the restaurant during a lovely hike to Lake Nambino. We ate deliciously, and the location is magnificent.

11/10/2025: I've been staying at this hotel since I was a child, and I have to say it's truly one of a kind. Francesco and Federica (the owners) are wonderful people and always available to answer any questions. The service is impeccable, as is the food... But let's not even talk about its location in this "happy oasis," the very Madonna di Campiglio. The wellness center is equipped with every relaxation tool (jacuzzi with hydromassage, showers, sauna, Turkish bath, etc.) with a dreamy view of the village. Every time I return to Madonna di Campiglio, I shed a tear of joy... for me, it's an overall 9/10, if not 10/10. A real void to fill after your competitive walk on the Tuckett or your stroll through the village. Congratulations!

17/01/2026: We ordered two "Golosa" pizzas, and despite the generous toppings—gorgonzola, onion, burrata, and spicy salami—the pizza was still very digestible with a very light crust. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the service was quick and efficient.

17/01/2026: Great food especially the two veal dishes on the menu. Be sure to book ahead of time to get a table, and to sit on main floor. Much nicer than sitting downstairs where more cramped, and good chance no table for walk in.

28/09/2025: For many, many years now, we've been retreating to Madonna di Campiglio whenever we get the chance, and the Cristal Palace Hotel is a jewel in its crown. You can enjoy a breathtaking view... peace, tranquility, and a truly magical atmosphere... holidays here are simply a fairytale! The rooms are wonderful, impeccably clean... the food is top-notch... and then??? And then the staff... is nothing short of amazing... super welcoming and helpful: Ottavia, Massamba at reception, the Maître d' in the dining room with Giuseppe and the others—I hope I don't mind because I don't remember all their names—Isabella, the SPA manager (unique).... they make you feel at home... pampered in every way possible... so not only do I highly recommend it... but I think it's an experience you absolutely must have, one you'll remember tomorrow, the day after, and forever. From the first to the last moment, everything was impeccable: a warm welcome, a staff always smiling and helpful, spaces meticulously maintained, and a level of comfort that exceeded all expectations. It's classified as a 4*S, but the truth is, it fully deserves a 5-star rating... and maybe even more! We ended our vacation perfectly, just as we hoped: total relaxation, pampering, and quality in every service. Thank you so much to all the staff: you made us feel special. 27/07/2025: Now a regular stop when I'm in the Pinzolo area, I can't help but stock up on their Brunilde beer, although all their beers are worth a try. They've deservedly earned their place among my favorite craft breweries.

30/01/2026: A wonderful place near Madonna. The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly and helpful. The dinner dishes: goulash with polenta, lamb chops, the hot stone dish, and the beef were all delicious. Delicious coffee, desserts, and the best Bombardini in the area. I highly recommend it. Best regards to the waitstaff and the chef :)
