09/11/2024: Family-run restaurant in a fantastic setting with a clear view of 🏰 Tyrol Castle from the sun terrace. Beautiful, very cozy guest rooms with wonderful, traditional wooden paneling. Good selection of South Tyrolean dishes, such as dumplings, apple pancakes, but also home-style cuisine, such as goulash, etc., all freshly prepared and of the best quality. I chose the “Three Cheese Dumplings with Salad” from the daily recommendation and was absolutely thrilled! 😋 Unfortunately, I completely forgot to take the usual snapshot to show in public. 😥 Extremely polite and courteous staff who, despite all the routine, even find a few nice words for strangers. You feel really welcome. Toilets are new and absolutely clean, so very happy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

28/10/2024: Booked 2 nights in October. Everything was fine. Great location with fantastic views. From the hotel you can wonderfully walk to Merano. The bus stops nearby and you can use it free of charge with the Meran Card, which you get at the hotel. Our room was small, but had a large balcony and there was enough space (cupboards) for luggage. No TV, which didn't bother me personally. The breakfast was great, sausage, cheese, eggs, fruit, some vegetables, cereal, pastries and, above all, fresh, very tasty bread and rolls every day. We had an excellent meal in the hotel's own restaurant. I would recommend making a reservation there. Price-performance ratio is completely fine. Dogs are also welcome. (October 2024)

15/08/2024: After a long walk through the mountains we arrived at this beautiful inn. There is a playground for children and a great panoramic view of the valley. The waitresses were very friendly and took our order quickly. The drinks we ordered arrived quickly and the price was right. We'd love to come back

15/08/2024: We stopped there while hiking and quickly found a spot. The service was there quickly and friendly, we enjoyed our Steinegger Bretl in the best weather and great views. The price was reasonable and local.👍 We were very happy with our stay. The path over the Meraner Höhenweg is beautiful but not a Sunday walk. It requires sure-footedness, sturdy shoes and you should be reasonably free from vertigo. Of course it is not included in the rating, only as additional information. 😉👍

03/11/2024: Schönes Restaurant mit sehr netten Wirtsleuten. Haben auch zu später Stunde noch einen Tisch bekommen. Leckere Tagliatelle und Garganelle gegessen. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 😍

01/11/2024: Very good service, fast service and therefore short waiting times. You are seated, the place was full at lunchtime on All Saints Day. Nevertheless, we didn't have to wait and were served quickly. The appetizer, salad and pizza impressed us in terms of taste. We recommend the restaurant!

25/08/2024: Mega beautiful view, a real paradise. Food was incredibly tasty, had a good veal schnitzel with roestis and cranberry jam. Colorful and fresh salad! Children's menu was also very good. Really a highlight of our trip.

20/08/2024: Das Essen war gut, der Service normal. Die Lage mitten im Zentrum gut. Die Preise vergleichbar mit anderen Lokalen in der Umgebung. Insgesamt nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes. Da es kein „gut“ in der Bewertung gibt, nur ein befriedigend.

20/08/2024: Nach einer vermeintlich kleinen Wanderung fanden wir uns in dem Restaurant wieder. Die Tiroler Platte, ein regionaler Salat mit Käse sowie was zum Trinken war für uns genau das Richtige.

05/10/2024: A paradise in the middle of grape vines and apple orchards. Breakfast buffet with a large selection. Dinner with 2 menus to choose from. First there is a rich salad buffet, a home-made starter by Mrs Waibl and team, an excellent soup and, at the end, a delicious dessert. Friendly, organized team. Beautiful and very clean rooms, all with amazing views. Thank you very much. We'd love to come back.

27/11/2024: Very quick service. We ordered a schnitzel and a double steak with mushroom sauce. All very good, you also appreciate fresh and grilled vegetables in addition. Great view!

30/08/2024: I was at this place twice. The second time I had to wait for the food for 45 minutes, although people who came later get their meat dishes earlier that I. The (obviously, frozen) white fish was not grilled enough, with a lot of spices. The “grilled” vegetables were fetty and most likely fried with a lot of oil. €1.2 for a glass of tap water.

19/10/2024: The perfect end to the bird of prey show! It's really very rare to get a 1A Kaiserschmarren. Here it comes very quickly and tastes heavenly! Exactly how you dream of it. Depending on the season, we also had excellent Zwetzschgenködel with butter and cinnamon and freshly squeezed grape juice. The price was absolutely fair and a special mention goes to the very attentive service and of course the magnificent view.
