22/04/2025: Great view, lots of sun and friendly staff. Worth a visit!

16/04/2025: Really great restaurant with delicious regional cuisine. Since it was raining, we sat in the cozy vaulted cellar - when the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace with a view of Tyrol Castle. The service is very friendly and attentive, the food and drinks are excellent. The shepherd's macaroni, which is praised in other reviews, is indeed very tasty and recommended!

27/10/2024: As a family we were guests at the Tiroler Kreuz Hotel from Saturday to Saturday. The arrival, even at 8 p.m. in the evening, was super friendly from the host himself. The apartment was beautifully furnished with a beautiful large balcony, its own kitchenette, a sofa bed for the child, a double bed behind a sliding door and a bathroom that can be accessed from two sides (a small drawback as a woman with long hair, however, is that the hairdryer there doesn't have much power) with a bathtub. The view of the village was an absolute dream both at night and during the day. The breakfast buffet with tea & coffee, various rolls and a variety of cold cuts was wonderful and if something was missing, everything was replenished. Ms. Fischer was particularly attentive to special requests. Thank you very much for that. A massage from her and a visit to the sauna were also very relaxing. The pool was absolutely right for my daughter (11) and suitable for relaxation. The girls from the cleaning were absolutely there and also on site after consultation. The bus stop right in front of the front door makes getting from A to B much easier. And with the ticket, it's absolutely great for the duration of the trip. All in all, we were super satisfied and are already planning our next vacation there.

24/10/2024: A hotel located on Bergstrasse. Good parking. A good viewing platform. The whole place is owner-managed, very tastefully decorated, and a pleasant place to stay. The prices are fair, and the food is excellent. An absolute recommendation.

12/01/2025: Every year we regularly eat in Dorf Tirol at Pizzeria Burggräfler. You always enjoy the food, the ambiance and the extremely friendly service. We are already looking forward to our next holiday.

11/12/2024: We had dinner there on three evenings in early November. No matter what dish, pizza, spare ribs or pasta... everything is a dream. The owner couple are perfect hosts. You come as a stranger and feel like you are with friends. We got a lot of tips for the region. Anyone who is a guest in Dorf Tirol should have eaten here. We'll be back

09/11/2024: Family-run restaurant in a fantastic setting with a clear view of 🏰 Tyrol Castle from the sun terrace. Beautiful, very cozy guest rooms with wonderful, traditional wooden paneling. Good selection of South Tyrolean dishes, such as dumplings, apple pancakes, but also home-style cuisine, such as goulash, etc., all freshly prepared and of the best quality. I chose the “Three Cheese Dumplings with Salad” from the daily recommendation and was absolutely thrilled! 😋 Unfortunately, I completely forgot to take the usual snapshot to show in public. 😥 Extremely polite and courteous staff who, despite all the routine, even find a few nice words for strangers. You feel really welcome. Toilets are new and absolutely clean, so very happy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

08/01/2025: Bar accogliente! Abbiamo preso un succo di mela e un ottimo strudel. Vicino c'è anche un comodo panificio. Bagni puliti. Una comoda sosta per chi vuole vedere i castelli del tirolo.

09/11/2024: During the walk that would take us to Merano starting from Tirolo, we stumbled upon this wonderful Schloss which also offers restaurant service. On nice days you can dine on the terrace which offers spectacular views of the surrounding panorama. The food is well prepared and tasty, accompanied by an excellent Forst beer, poured to perfection, which in these places can be savored in all its magnificence. Freshly prepared roasted chestnuts were also available. Friendly staff, and price commensurate with the location. Nice experience!

22/12/2024: We stayed there for one night at the end of October on the Merano High Trail. It was by far the most expensive hut we visited. The rooms, while clean, were very dated. The staff wasn't particularly friendly. The breakfast selection was very limited. The view from the balcony was very nice, but not worth the extra charge.

15/12/2024: We hiked the Meraner Höhenweg in September 2024 and the inn was our first overnight stay. Nice team, good food and good room!! Top view!!! Always my pleasure Holger Gehrke

01/04/2025: We were only here at the campsite for one night and really enjoyed the food in the restaurant. It tasted great and was particularly beautifully prepared. We had spareribs and saltimbocca - both tasted excellent. The service was also super friendly - all in all - a pleasure 😊

04/03/2025: A single dream. We were greeted and treated extremely friendly by all the staff throughout our stay! The location of the property is extraordinary. Everything is remarkably well maintained. Some things are getting old and yet everything Picobello is clean and well maintained and that is crucial!@! A lot of work and energy goes into keeping such an object in such an inviting condition. Respect!@! The entire team seems to work extremely well and the cleaning staff do an excellent job. Bed linen, mattresses, towels...everything is in an invitingly hygienic condition. The same applies to the breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired for our taste. The restaurant is very busy, which explains everything else. Professionals work here and have fun. We could think of many other positive aspects, but enough with the adulation... 16/12/2024: Stopped off during a hike on the Meraner Höhenweg. Food great, freshly prepared, service great. Prices are reasonable and the view is magnificent.

14/02/2025: Nothing special, you are not informed about the fish week, for example, the glass was broken, no real menu or wine lists, we would have hoped for more at this price.

23/04/2025: An absolutely impressive location in a spectacular location. If you are looking for an inn with very inexpensive food and drinks with friendly service after a long hike, you are in the best place. My family and I were very satisfied with our stay there and will definitely spend a few hours there again.

07/10/2024: I stayed at the Hotel Kronsbühel for the first time at the end of July and it was simply perfect. Thanks to available capacity, I even received an upgrade, which made the stay even more pleasant. The hotel is run by an incredibly nice family who work very professionally with heart and passion. The entire workforce is warm, hard-working and works hand in hand. The cleanliness of the hotel is impressive; my room was thoroughly cleaned every day and even the toilet paper was folded - a great detail! The view from the rooms is magnificent and adds to the magical atmosphere. The meal on the panoramic terrace was an absolute highlight: it was so tasty, varied and healthy that I still remember it now. Every evening there was, among other things, an excellent soup (without cream!) - they still cook properly here. I particularly remember the beetroot dumpling with crème fraîche and fresh herbs. Every morning I looked forward to opening the menu on the breakfast table and checking off my meal of choice for the evening. The table decoration changed every evening, which gave the whole thing a special touch. It was particularly nice to see how the master of the house prepared the meal with his son, while the housekeeper prepared the delicious desserts herself. The waitresses were always polite and courteous, which raised the service to a very high level. The hotel's interior is beautiful and lovingly designed. You feel like you're visiting friends. Overall, it was the most beautiful place I've ever been. It is noticeable that the family puts a lot of love and dedication into making sure that every guest feels welcome and comfortable. The combination of breathtaking views and stylish ambience makes this hotel simply unique. I highly recommend it!
