12/04/2026: We were here over Easter – Esser was very sunny, ski-in/ski-out is no longer available, but there's a shuttle service every 5 minutes to the Ciampinoi or Danterpieces lifts. The food was excellent, and Alice in the restaurant was the heart and soul of the place.

12/10/2025: The hotel rooms are beautiful, traditional, warm, and comfortable. The view is spectacular, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. We ate well throughout our stay. The dishes are typical of the area, and the cured meats are exceptional! The location is ideal, as the ski slopes and equipment rental are just a few minutes' walk away. There's also the option of using a room inside the hotel for equipment storage (skis, snowboards, helmets, etc.).

25/08/2025: Hotel: very central, free indoor parking, and spacious rooms. Staff: everyone is friendly and helpful, both the owners and the staff, but what struck us most was Claudia's helpfulness, kindness, precision, and smile!! Congratulations! The owners, Stefano and Romana, are truly welcoming and always ready to accommodate all their guests' needs. The chef is one of a kind! The food is excellent, imaginative, and delicate. The dishes are always served with kindness and attention by Claudia (the best), Lolita, Larisa, Bledi, and Lucia. If I were to return to Selva, I would have no doubts about my choice: Hotel Armin!

05/04/2026: Fantastic service! We only called 5 minutes beforehand to let them know we were coming, and everything was already prepared (gluten-free). All the staff were very competent and friendly. The food tasted great, arrived quickly, and at the perfect temperature. A wonderful experience!

13/03/2026: The food was good and the wines too, but the atmosphere felt a bit flat and was somewhat disappointing. We had two different servers. A woman, who came across as rather distant and seemed unenthusiastic. This was confirmed when she poured the last drop from a bottle of red wine, including the sediment. Her male colleague, however, was very friendly and the complete opposite. All in all, okay.

28/12/2025: My sister and I were staying in Selva for one night and booked this hotel the week before for an incredibly low price for what it offered (certainly due to the low season: €117). The rooms are clean, comfortable, and warm, and ours had a balcony with a beautiful view. There's a pool area with loungers, accessible free of charge to guests, as well as a wellness area offering self-service tea and other beverages, a steam bath, sauna, and shower. We booked a table for dinner and ordered dumplings in broth, ravioli, a glass of wine, a glass of water, and dessert for €61, a very reasonable price for the food and service, especially the staff who served us, who were very kind and helpful. Breakfast is included and offers a buffet and an à la carte menu with many options. One small tip: pay attention to the bill. We had two minor misunderstandings (a drink being double-counted and a moment of confusion regarding the room payment, which had already been processed), likely due to simple oversights and resolved without issue. Recommended :)

09/01/2026: Excellent bourguignonne. There was a bit of confusion with the reservation, and we were worried we wouldn't get it due to a mistaken cancellation, but we finally made it. Our only regret was having ordered the appetizer (mixed salami) on the recommendation to pass the extra wait, but it was worth the wait and enjoyed the main course, which was plentiful and we couldn't finish it.

12/04/2026: A lunch booking is a must for great views and food. My friend and I shared the lobster pasta and prawn one (both were cooked perfectly) and we also shared the 1.3kg turbot between the 5 of us which was expensive but good.

17/03/2026: An experience that makes you want to get up and leave. Disorganized and sloppy service, with staff who don't seem to know what's happening at the tables. No attention, no communication: you have to chase someone down even to see if your order has been taken. The food is decidedly below par: paltry portions, scant ingredients, and preparations made with minimal care. Sad sandwiches, lacking presentation, and a taste that in no way justifies the price paid. The overall feeling is of being left to your own devices, as if the customer were a secondary consideration. Professionalism, organization, and respect are lacking. A negative experience that I wouldn't repeat and I don't recommend.

23/02/2026: Bravo dining experience. You can taste the complicity of every dish by tasting the ingredients. The combination of ingredients impressed us. As a traveller, this Chef menu allows us to taste all different signature italian cusine with high quailty. I am happy that I have chosen here for dinner.

05/02/2026: It is hard to impress me as I have been to many great restaurants but this was a fantastic experience. We felt extremely and warm welcomed. The staff was naturally friendly and attentive, very professional. It seemed everyone enjoyed their job. The dishes presentation was really stunning- just look at the pictures and videos I took. The only thing to improve would be a normal pepper mill- not this press thing- the design is very nice but I personally found it a bit irritating 😜 We all had the Gherdena menu but you don’t have to all decide on the same menu on your table like in other places. I loved that!!!! Our son doesn’t like fish so they just adjusted for him. It is the best restaurant in Val Gardena for me and we will be back next year!

24/03/2026: Nice hut, beautiful views of Sella and Langkofel, well located on the Sella Ronde counter-clockwise, friendly service; price level is standard for the Dolomites and therefore, as everywhere in the region, too expensive.

09/06/2026: Once a nightclub, today it's a very beautiful restaurant with decor that blends in very well with the Alpine landscape and, above all, the food is very good. I recommend it!

05/06/2026: The food was very good. The pork medallions with porcini mushroom sauce and Spätzle were delicious. The best tiramisu I've had in a while.

13/09/2025: Super cute little hut. There are only a few spots inside, but there are additional heated/covered spots in a sort of pavilion, and plenty of spots on the terrace, which has plenty of sunny spots. Highly recommended are the pasta in sage butter with poppy seeds and Parmesan, as well as the dumpling trio.

23/08/2025: A little-publicized hut we found on the way down to Plan after visiting Passo Sella. Simple and tasty food, very friendly staff, fair prices. Everything was delicious, especially the buckwheat cake, which we absolutely loved.

17/04/2026: We stopped by for lunch and drinks and between the two of us, we shared the aubergine paccheri and pesto ravioli which were both tasty. The service was slightly slow.

26/02/2026: We had a great meal at suinsom!! We both got the five course rope - spoiler alert it’s more like 11 courses with 2 starters, bread, 1 extra course, pre- dessert and petit fours. Honestly every dish was fantastic. If you’re in Selva, I highly recommend booking dinner here!
