A must-see! Besides the enchanting location, with a pond full of trout, a wonderful, soft green lawn, and a spectacular view of the Sella massif, it's well worth a visit for the quality (and quantity!) of the dishes and the kindness of the staff, which is not always a given in South Tyrol. With a lively one-and-a-half-year-old, we were pampered from the start, without ever feeling uncomfortable. The service was prompt, and the quality of the dishes was excellent. I recommend the tagliatelle with wild boar and the shank! The restrooms are also noteworthy: spotless and equipped with a changing table. There are plenty of children's games outside, making the stop a unique experience for both adults and children. It's worth making a detour to come here! Vallongia is a beautiful place and the hut is just as beautiful.

Vallongia is a beautiful cabin accessible via a moderate climb. When you arrive, you'll find a beautiful spot: children's playground, deck chairs, and a pond with trout that you can even fish and eat right there.

Great staff, good food and espresso. Much quieter than other rifugi with still an amazing view. Good playground for kids, plenty of seating. A fun pond as well where you can rent fishing poles during certain hours of the day.

A great experience, especially thanks to the fantastic Argentinean waiters who welcomed us with their incomparable kindness. Thank you for everything, and see you soon!

Beautiful cabin…our salvation during the snowstorm. Very friendly service and the food was good. We felt very comfortable.

Nice hut, beautiful views of Sella and Langkofel, well located on the Sella Ronde counter-clockwise, friendly service; price level is standard for the Dolomites and therefore, as everywhere in the region, too expensive.

I don’t leave reviews often, but this place deserves it. We stopped by for coffee and dessert - both were excellent - and the staff were the nicest people we met during our week of snowboarding. We came back for lunch the same day and were so glad we did. The pasta fagioli and the spinach spätzle with gorgonzola were absolutely 🔥 Great food, even better people. Highly recommend 💙
