23/08/2025: The central location is absolutely strategic, both for its proximity to Schenna's monuments and for organizing public transportation to the funiculars and other towns. We made great use of the guest pass, which is a real plus for tourists.
The restaurant staff is truly kind and helpful 🔝. The only downside was the management of room assignments: as non-smokers, we repeatedly found ourselves with neighbors smoking on the balcony (absolutely permitted) like "chimneys." By keeping the window open at night, smoke would often fill our room from very early in the morning until late, so much so that we were forced to turn on the air conditioning when it wasn't necessary due to the outside temperatures.
21/08/2025: Everything is just perfect here. The staff are all incredibly friendly, very accommodating, and service-oriented. Breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is also very good. The two pools are fantastic, and everything is beautifully landscaped. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back. Thank you so much. You are GREAT!❤️

31/07/2025: Immer, wenn wir in Schenna sind, besuchen wir den Georgenhof mindestens 2-3 Mal, weil wir hier immer sehr zufrieden sind!
27/07/2025: Seit vielen Jahren sind wir im Urlaub Gäste im Georgenhof und jedesmal erfreut über die Qualität der Speisen und die freundliche Bewirtung auch bei großem Gedränge. Salate, Tiroler Gerichte oder Gegrilltes, alles kommt frisch und sehr schön angerichtet auf den Tisch. Auch Pizzen sind empfehlenswert!

Ristorante dell’hotel Verdinser Hof

23/08/2025: Since we left much earlier due to the holiday season, but managed to avoid traffic, we arrived at the hotel around 10:00 a.m. The friendly German-speaking gentleman at the reception desk was already able to give us the keys to our room, which was really great.
Unfortunately, the 5-course dinner was already fully booked, so the option to add it on later was no longer available. I would recommend driving a bit and trying pizza and pasta in town.
Otherwise, everything was very nice. The view from the room was truly stunning.
22/08/2025: Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.
The rooms are okay but showing their age, just like the entire hotel.
The mattresses are thin and saggy. I couldn't find access to the sauna village, if it's even still open.
Service at reception and in the restaurant is mediocre. Only Indian staff, who are very hectic. The seating in the dining room is very cramped and uncomfortable. I waited half an hour for my main course. The food is mediocre and, compared to what I'm used to from South Tyrol, very poor. Portions are far too large and poorly presented.
The only positive thing is the view.

24/08/2025: Extremely old and thin mattress. So bad that I could feel the springs in my ribs all night. Manager response: "It's not a luxury hotel." Only time I've abandoned a hotel in the midst of a stay.

11/07/2025: A superb hut with charm 😍 We were there on Wednesday for a music brunch - simply fantastic. The staff and host family were very friendly, despite the financial audit (of course, it has to be on a day like this 😡).
04/07/2025: The climb is worth it. A wonderful hike from Tall and back to Verdins, mostly through the forest. It gets quite steep towards the end. The shepherd's macaroni was very good. A large selection of food and drinks.

24/07/2025: Die Hütte ist toll , Preisilch sehr gehoben aber dafür sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.die einen tollen Job machen .
Was gar nicht geht ist das Tartar. Das war wirklich das schlimmste was ich jemals serviert bekommen habe . Leider , da ich weis das man in Südtirol echt leckeres bekommen kann.
Serviert wurde, in eine Form gequetschtes Hackfleisch, ohne Salz,Pfeffer,Eigelb Senf . Dafür mit ausgetrocknetem Salat der nicht abgemacht war und eine Scheibe Brot . Sehr schade !!
Der Rest war sehr lecker , der Kaiserschmarren, das Gulasch und die Ravioli waren vorzüglich .
18/07/2025: Questo luogo è davvero speciale, non solo per gli scenari circostanti ma anche per l'impostazione culinaria. Il percorso a piedi per arrivarci è molto bello, tra ruscelletti ed abeti ed il cibo fantastico ed esteticamente bello. Un piacere per gli occhi ed il palato assieme.
Luca lo chef ci ha accolto con calore familiare ed anche il nostro cagnolino Artù ha fatto salti di gioia per gli ottimi canederli che ha potuto gustare!
Il posto è molto curato, con amache e chaises longues ed angoli gioco per bambini, ragazzi ed adulti che sembrano sculture artistiche.
Location assolutamente consigliata!

Sehr schmackhaft, Teig dürfte für unseren Geschmack etwas dünner sein.
Getränke und Service gut.Freundliche Bedienung. Alles bestens!
Aber.... der gemischte Salat, für über 6€ war ein lustlose kleine Müsli-Schale .
Dazu waren Salat wie Tomaten nicht frisch! Schade:( Das sollte hier besser sein)

21/07/2025: Erstmals waren wir hier, neben den guten und üblichen Gerichten gibt es auch Besonderes! Zum Beispiel einen Lammbraten mit Speckknödel und Rotkohl. Und das war wirklich als Sommersicht zubereitet. Herrlich aromatisch und frisch. Auch eine selbstgemachte Lavendelschorle könnte überzeugen. Auch sehr gut zubereitet und abgeschmeckt waren die Tagliata auf Rucololabeet und Kartoffelweges.
19/06/2025: Leider hat die Qualität und Quantität der Spareribs im Gegensatz zum Vorjahr stark nachgelassen. Dafür waren die Marillenknödel lecker.

04/06/2025: Die von uns bestellten Speisen waren mittelmäßig. Die Pizza kam circa 15 Minuten vor dem Fritteuse Schnitzel. Auch auf Nachfragen, wurde da keine Abhilfe geschaffen. Bei der zweiten Nachfrage wurde der Kellner frech und wechselte von Deutsch in Italienisch. Pech, dass wir auch zweisprachig sind. Wein wurde auf den Tisch geknallt, eingeschenkt haben wir selber. Ebenso einen guten Appetit gewünscht. Ich habe noch nie einen so schlechten Service erlebt, es ist mir zu müßig, es hier weiter zu beschreiben. Es versteht sich von selber, dass auch die Rechnung unstimmig war und wir nicht verabschiedet wurden. Die Kartenzahlung haben wir beim Koch persönlich vorgenommen und das Thema dort angesprochen. Er hat nur mit den Achseln gezockt. Der Laden ist nicht umsonst so schlecht besucht.
