31/03/2024: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The family atmosphere made our vacation particularly pleasant. The entire staff was extremely courteous and was always available to help and advise. The food was simply delicious, with a diverse selection of dishes to please every palate. The rooms were beautifully furnished and offered the perfect retreat after an eventful day. The wellness area was simply great, the sauna and the pool invited you to relax.
All in all, an absolutely recommendable hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay! We will come back in any case!

06/04/2024: The quality of the food is great, the ambience is great, the service is great, BUT, somehow everything happens so extremely quickly that you feel like you've been "handled". Drinking a glass of wine comfortably is not possible. Between ordering drinks, serving them, and the food arriving, you don't have time to prepare the salad at the buffet. It's a shame actually.
03/04/2024: Pizzas are light and tasty. Service is quick. Overall it's a good place to get a pizza. Staff is friendly.

31/03/2024: Easter lunch, on a gloomy and cold day at the end of March, with a view of the mountains above S.Candido.
Family-run restaurant, informal environment that immediately puts you at ease... "as if it were Sunday lunch at home"...
Large and varied menu.
Speck and cheese appetizer.
Followed by a plate of pressed dumplings with cheese and a plate of March goulash with polenta.
Gewurztraminer to accompany the lunch concluded with strudel and pine grappa.
Dish cooked with love and executed with skill and quality ingredients.

21/03/2024: Super familiar environment which alone makes you hungry and happy to live in genuine places like this, a little stuck in time and furnishings but for this very reason super authentic! We stopped after a walk and finding the appetizer of mushrooms and venison ham followed by tagliatelle with meat sauce was one of the best experiences this week in the mountains!!

07/03/2024: It has lost a bit of style compared to a year ago...It's not nice to move customers from one table to another and then see the tables being cleaned with a floor broom...poor cleaning...pretty good food. ..poor service first they brought the cappuccino after 10 minutes they brought the toast (so the cappuccino became cold... all in all good toast... they usually bring it together don't you think?).. incredible and it wasn't there chaos .

14/03/2024: The food was great - best we had all week in South Tyrol. The people were kind and understood multiple languages, but we're a bit pushy with taking your plates while eating and in the end we paid the bill with a card but never actually saw the bill and what was the cost of the things we ate.
12/03/2024: Was recommended to us by a local and boy were we grateful. I got the venison ragout and it was slamming! The apple strudel was phenomenal as well.

27/01/2024: We are very happy that we came across this restaurant. Coming back from Civetta, we decided to have lunch in our beloved Italy and that's where the idea came from. And it turned out that not only were the primi pati really delicious, but at the end the owner told us that his mother-in-law was Alba, who co-invented TIRAMiSU in the 1970s. Of course we ordered and ate it, it was really something. Be sure to come by
17/01/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant and had a wonderful meal. Dishes with quality ingredients, cooked impeccably. The shank and the goulash are absolutely worth trying. But in general everything is delicious. Also their sweet tiramisu. Courtesy and friendliness of the innkeeper Mr. Frank. What can I say, probably the best restaurant in San Candido.

The season is ending so not that busy. Food was served quite quickly, ordered burgers.
What can I say... All's in the meat - that's what a burger is all about. If the meat is not up to scratch, no matter what you add to it, it will just not hit the spot. And so it didn't. The texture was not right - did not look or taste like a proper patty. Pity because the place is really nice.
Oh, and they take their time to get the bill to you. Asked twice. Got annoyed with the wait.

08/11/2023: Cercavo un buon panificio o pasticceria nei dintorni di Sesto in cui comprare uno strudel da portare a casa e regalare.
I commenti e recensioni che avevo letto su questo panificio erano tutti molto positivi proprio sullo strudel per cui qualche giorno prima di rientrare a casa sono andata a ordinarne uno: direi un metro che, quando sono andata a ritirarlo, la commessa mi ha tagliato con gran precisione in due pezzi identici che poi ha riposto in due scatole per poterli trasportare al meglio a casa.
Una volta assaggiato…che dire: ottimo! Sapore, farcitura e conservazione.
Ho comprato anche del pane perché il panificio ne aveva di diversi tipi che mi avevano incuriosito e pure quello si è dimostrato davvero buono.
Consiglio un passaggio, non fosse altro che per un caffè (fanno anche colazioni), per mangiare una buona pasta o acquistare un pane tipico del Sud Tirol.
