03/01/2026: Last night, my partner and I returned to Tilia after a year. Both times, the food and service were impeccable. More than a dinner, it's an experience, and I highly recommend it. We'll be back, because three things come in threes.

03/01/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, which boasts a well-deserved Michelin star, and starting from the very beginning, I can confidently say we'll be happy to return. Everything was original and perfect, from the welcome, to the ambiance, and of course, the dishes on the four-course tasting menu. In the dining room, Sommelier Anita Mancini was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and in the kitchen, Chef Chris Oberhammer ensures the highest level of research and creation of dishes, using excellent, mostly local, ingredients.

27/12/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Dolomiten from December 23rd to 26th with half board. We had a wonderful time. The rooms are very spacious and cleaned daily, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options. The dinner was delicious and plentiful, and the waiters were welcoming and professional. The hotel offers various amenities, including a spa, bar, pizzeria, and more. It's also in an excellent location, close to the train station, ski slopes, and a 20-minute drive from Lake Braies.

01/11/2025: This is a farmhouse restaurant serving excellent Tyrolean cuisine with generous portions. It's a must-try when in the area.

14/12/2025: The hotel is still family-run, very clean, simple but with all the comforts, excellent service, and a fabulous restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.

06/10/2025: We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Hotel Gratschwirt in Toblach at the end of the summer season, and we have to say – it was simply WOW! The location is perfect, surrounded by breathtaking nature. The recently renovated room was a true retreat: comfortable, clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely took care of our well-being with great warmth in every respect. The half-board dinner, a 5-course menu, was a highlight every day – delicious, varied, and more than sufficient. Our stay at the Hotel Gratschwirt was thoroughly relaxing and exceeded our expectations. Also worth mentioning is the wellness area with pool and sauna, where we found relaxation after our mountain activities. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and quiet amidst the beauty of South Tyrol in the Dolomites.

His professionalism and warm attitude made me feel right at home. It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely cares about guests’ comfort the way he does. Thank you, Igli, for your outstanding service and kindness you truly made my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon!

Note that the standard Italian three-pronged plug doesn't work here, so the front desk staff provided us with an adapter. I recommend the half-board option. The hotel is located on a hill, and the access road is narrow and a bit difficult for cars, making access difficult. However, the hotel's own food is excellent. The alpacas are adorable and very approachable; a must-see if you're visiting. The downside is that the room amenities are quite basic, especially the very slow Wi-Fi.

06/01/2026: We stayed at this wonderful hotel for the winter holidays with our one-year-old baby. Everything was perfect: a beautiful, traditional hotel with a brand new spa with various relaxation rooms; the service is impeccable, managed by the owners who are incredibly sweet, helpful, and kind; we were never turned down, despite the baby causing a bit of disruption; the hotel is very clean; there are various attractions nearby and beautiful walks in the woods (Lake Dobbiaco, Lake Braies, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, ponies, alpacas, etc.); the common areas are very spacious and well-organized, in fact, even though it was fully booked, it didn't feel crowded; the food is always varied and excellent, and I'd say very plentiful, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free options, etc.; they never offered us the same thing in six days. We can't wait to go back 😍
