23/09/2025: A very nice Refugio with fantastic food.Had potato ravioli filled with goat cheese and great tomato sauce. Probably better than the Michelin starred restaurant we eat in the other night. Definitely worth the hike.

12/09/2025: We had such a great time that we even decided to get married in this wonderful retreat. The staff was kind and professional, and Armin is fantastic! You absolutely have to come here!

18/10/2025: Big, lively restaurant in Colfosco. Opens at 6:30 pm, no reservations, so there’s often a line - but it’s huge inside and usually fits everyone. Fantastic pizza from a real oven, thin and crispy, with a big variety (yes, even a Hawaiian with chicken and pineapple - don’t tell the Italians!). South Tyrolean dishes are excellent - we kept coming back for several nights. Great draft beer, good wines (local ones are on the pricey side, but plenty of other Italian options too). Don’t miss the tomino cheese with chanterelles and potatoes - my absolute favorite.

15/09/2025: Pizza was perfect, service also. We didnt have reservation but they found us a table. Everything was top.

03/10/2025: Food is amazing! We ordered the pizza with local sausage and brie, and porcini mushroom pasta. Restaurant does get busy but it’s worth waiting

05/10/2025: One of my favourite ‘huts’ in the area. Friendly service, excellent hot chocolate (especially with cream and rum!) and possibly the best Kaiserschmarrn in the Dolomites! Amazing views from the terrace or the lawn overlooking the mountains.

30/09/2025: Wonderful, both for the view and the style and interior decor of the refuge. Lunch prices are remarkably high, having risen as is the case with almost all refuges these days.

09/08/2025: A must-visit among the Val Badia refuges, because the food is good, the service is excellent, and it's not touristy! It has a wonderful view of Campolongo! Today it's in the summer version, but I often come in the winter too.

14/09/2025: Unassuming small place with incredible food, so I have to congratulate the cook. The staff is also friendly. The prices aren't seem in huts anymore, unfortunately.

22/10/2025: Arrived at 3pm-ish which was too late for lunch. Too bad but understandable. They do serve drinks at that time though and it does look great with outdoor seatings as well.

26/09/2025: It's delicious, but 22 euros for risotto and cola, excluding tip, seems expensive. Maybe it's because there aren't many restaurants in the area.

08/10/2025: I stayed here for three nights in early October. Having stayed in several other hotels in the dolomites La Tambra stands out as one of the very best. Super comfortable rooms and exceptionally, friendly and attentive staff, especially Rafaella at the front desk, who was very friendly and attentive to all my needs. The breakfast was exceptional as well. If I ever come back to the area, I would definitely want to stay here.

28/07/2025: Amazing hotel in corvara, cyclist friendly. Breakfast is sumptuous and just what we needed for the huge climbs! Wellness area has nice saunas and a pool. Rooms are big, clean, and well appointed. Staff is helpful and kind. Would stay again.

06/11/2025: Beautiful place, even though it's practically underground! Professional and attentive staff! The only flaw is... the food, apart from the fact that I was disappointed, the quality is too much for that price. You pay a lot and eat badly. I ordered the meat platter and the schlutzkrapfen. The quantity was below average, and the quality, let's say, isn't excellent. It's a shame because the location is very nice and welcoming.

16/09/2025: Wonderful experience - we liked it so much we went back the next evening. Staff were professional and attentive. We tried Italian and Ladina food and all were good.

20/08/2025: I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and super clean. The staff are all wonderful, top marks. Breakfast and dinner are really good. The bus is free and very punctual, and stops right in front of the hotel. What more can I say? Thank you for giving us a wonderful week.

28/10/2025: Our first impression of this venerable old inn, with its steep stairs and narrow rooms, was quite positive. The atmosphere was pleasant, the rooms tastefully restored, cozy, and clean. Dinner itself was excellently prepared. However, the portions were so small that we felt mocked. For example, the three postage-stamp-sized pieces of meat in the main course could have fit on a soup spoon. There was also a halved king oyster mushroom and a smear of sauce. Nothing else, absolutely nothing. For dessert, a scoop of vanilla ice cream the size of a walnut, garnished with a red paint splatter. We aren't big eaters, but we were far from satisfied and found the attempt to cram such a tiny portion onto a large plate quite irritating. Perhaps this was supposed to be gourmet cuisine? What was offered here certainly wasn't. The breakfast buffet was similarly meager. The selection was very limited, but this bothered us less. What was absolutely unacceptable, however, was that the buffet wasn't replenished. When we arrived for breakfast at 9:00, the buffet was already empty of natural yogurt, ham, butter, and juice. Essentially, only bread, a bowl of canned peaches, and a bowl of pink fruit yogurt remained. Nothing was replenished; on the contrary, the last remaining slice of sausage was cleared away while we were still eating. We could hear the staff chatting cheerfully from the kitchen, but our attempts to get some butter and a second cup of coffee were ignored. No one paid any attention to us. Once again, we left the table dissatisfied. There were other annoyances, including some concerning the hotel management. Going into detail about them would be beyond the scope of this review. All in all, we were left with a rather tarnished impression of this otherwise attractive hotel.

16/10/2025: A must-visit both in the summer during long walks and in the winter after a good ski day. Very well-kept and tidy. Varied, high-quality dishes, excellent ingredients. If you're in Corvara and the surrounding area for your holidays, you absolutely must stop by Jimmi for an excellent meal!

12/10/2025: The Jimmi is probably the coolest hut in South Tyrol...and the Sella base is always in view...simply a beautiful panorama...it couldn't be better...even if the drinks cost maybe a euro more than at the other huts. As I said, the panorama is worth every cent...I can only recommend it...again and again...

25/07/2025: Perfect for aperitivo and aperitivo. We ate in the garden inside a wooden hut, but the interior is also very beautiful and unique. Friendly staff and good food. A bit hidden from the main street, but finding it on Maps is worth it.
