30/03/2024: Fast and friendly service, honest prices and generous portions. I recommend the Gran Tagliere, with which up to 3 people can eat. The first courses which reflect the culinary and Tuscan tradition are also highly recommended. Whether it's pappardelle with wild boar ragù or pici senese they are all excellent. Also worth trying is the ribollita. The Florentine is also very well made. Paid parking nearby.

30/03/2024: We had dinner on two consecutive evenings given the quality and friendliness of the staff. The environment is not spacious, but very welcoming. We recommend it.

02/04/2024: Clean and well furnished place, the dishes were all good from starter to dessert. The portions of the fixed menus are inconsistent compared to the à la carte dishes: the gentleman at the table next to us received a more generous first course (à la carte) than the one they brought us for 4 people (we took 4 menus at €40 each) and even the fried food for 4 was really poor (in many restaurants they carry that portion for 1 person). The most annoying thing of the evening, however, was the service. It was the Saturday before Easter and they brought us the dishes at the speed of a fast-food restaurant, then they made us get up 4 times to go into the room behind our table to get the tablecloths to set the table for the next day and as if that wasn't enough at 11 the waiters started complaining to each other because we didn't leave (there was also another table). We were having dinner at a restaurant with people we don't see much to have a quiet chat without anyone having to cook. Honestly, I found it really tasteless.

30/04/2024: Alcide restaurant, a beautiful location but a little dated (perhaps a small restyling especially to the bathrooms wouldn't hurt), but attentive, sober and precise staff, they know how to make you feel pampered, then the food (I ate fish) was wonderful, very good. I definitely recommend it also because the quality is excellent and not too expensive.

02/01/2024: Sono stata tre sere in questo ristorante dal personale professionale e gentilissimo. Purtroppo lo chef pessimo. Piatti di prima portata pessimi. Fiorentina stracotta e tartare così scura da nn poter essere neanche assaggiata. Peccato perché il resto molto carino

30/03/2024: Excellent experience, kindness and helpfulness from all the staff. Really good pizza, a little expensive but delicious. An endless list of finger-licking traditional desserts. Fast service. 1 starter, 4 pizzas, 1 abundant vegetable, 1 bottle of wine, water, dessert, coffee and bitters for the price of €21 per person... What can I say, honest shopping. I recommend booking a few days in advance. Highly recommended.

28/04/2024: Perfect dinner with friends in the La Galleria restaurant. We chose the fish menu from the large menu. What came to the table then overwhelmed us. Fish and shellfish in a wide variety of preparation forms. The service was great and fun. We had a great evening and will stop by again next time we are in Tuscany.

30/03/2024: The worst service I've ever had in Italy. They forgot the pizzas but brought the plates from the kitchen, half the table didn't eat for over half an hour, including two hungry children. They brought my overcooked tagliata secondo, which they forgot and certainly reheated, and the worst thing is that they charged me at the end. But, the pasta was good, nonetheless.

30/04/2024: Good pizza, kindness of people We know about the common practice of cover charges in Italy, but without water and bread, we paid 5 euros just to sit down, taking into account that we spent well in the restaurant.

05/05/2024: The place is very pleasant The service is excellent English speakers which is great The food was excellent From the truffle pasta to the first course, the filet was a delicious generous portion and quality meat. The wet truffle. The accompanying dishes were excellent: a mix of fresh vegetables, excellent spinach, cubes of vegetables sautéed in a racket and the baked potatoes were excellent. It should be noted that the dishes change according to the season. highly recommend

30/03/2024: I didn't like it, there was only one waitress and that didn't allow her to provide good service, she brought my Coca Cola and never brought a glass to drink it and when I asked her she responded disrespectfully. I didn't like the food much either, it wasn't of good quality, the bread was cold and dry and the pasta was ugly too.
