29/11/2024: I had dinner near the fireplace. Ribollita (photo) good; next time I'll aim for the pasta since they produce it (but I realized it after ordering). It was a week evening, in November, there was no need to book (there was room). Outside the restaurant, the village was very quiet, almost deserted but fascinating. There is a car park not far away, just outside the village gate. I paid about 1 euro, I think I read that it was free after 8pm.

12/12/2024: Yes, this is a packaged tourist experience, but I was just so happy that I don't need to think too hard, someone just keep pouring me wine and give me food, and explain to me, as a layman, how to do wine tasting, and being treated like a VIP. A great experience. Thank You so much!!

30/10/2024: Quite sober but very well-kept atmosphere. Service competent and very friendly. Poached egg with pecorino cream and truffles. Very good. Tagliatelle with shrimps. Pretty bland. Braised beef in Chianti reduction and mashed potatoes. Buttery, juicy, good beef, but the sauce was just sour. Creme brulé - very delicious!

19/11/2024: Una meraviglia! Cibo di assoluta qualità (pici all'aglione memorabili e lingua in salsa verde di rara bontà). Il personale, un uomo ed una ragazza, non solo simpatici ma capaci di districarsi tra i tavoli con rapidità e garbo: mai una nota stonata, una smorfia, un gesto scortese. Per quanto mi riguarda, non torno mai dove il pwersonale è scortese, neanche se mi invitano. Qui, mi sono trovato a mio agio fin dall'accoglienza.

01/12/2024: Il Borgo di Monteriggioni è incantevole. Il ristorante sta nella piazza principale . Le aspettative erano superiori . Il locale è accogliente , ma manca un po’ di cura dei dettagli . Seggiole scomodissime …. Menu con piatti tipici toscani ; buoni ma non da lasciare il segno. Servizio gentile. . Prezzi un po’ sopra la media .

The location is fantastic, Monteriggioni is always nice to stop by for a short stop. The value for money is excellent

18/11/2024: We celebrated my daughter's birthday yesterday and we can't help but express how thrilled we were! We had never been before, but we had heard great things about the place, and I have to say that expectations were greatly exceeded. The restaurant is enchanting, with several outdoor areas where we were able to have an aperitif in a truly evocative atmosphere. One point that particularly struck us was the children's playground area, extremely equipped and safe, which allowed the little ones to have fun while the adults enjoyed the day. The restaurant is cared for down to every detail, both inside and outside. The view of the pond is breathtaking, with windows overlooking a panoramic terrace. The interior is equally elegant, with modern and refined furnishings, and a fireplace that creates a pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the food was excellent and the service impeccable. We were given the opportunity to customize every detail of the event, from the layout of the tables to the set-up, up to the possibility of playing music and creating a space for dancing. We had the room to ourselves, which made the event even more special and intimate. In summary, it was a perfect day. We were really enthusiastic, both us and the guests. We recommend the Vallechiara restaurant without hesitation to those looking for an enchanting, well-kept place with excellent service and a spectacular view. We will certainly organize many other events in this splendid place. A magical experience that we will remember forever!

16/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati casualmente in questa trattoria attirati dall insegna e dalla fame, locale non molto curato ma caratteristico, ci portano al tavolo, senza richiederla, acqua frizzante e naturale, poi ci viene letto il menù da cui scegliamo 3 panzanelle e un piatto di pici al ragù di coniglio ( ne prendiamo anche un assaggio per mio figlio di un anno). Personale gentile e cordiale cibo molto buono la sorpresa é arrivata con il conto. 15 euro il piatto di pici con coniglio ( quantità media, non abbondante) 7.50 la panzanella ( altro non è che pane cipolla e pomodoro) 7.50 anche la pasta per il bimbo. Prezzi veramente alti ed ingiustificati che hanno rovinato il pranzo.

12/09/2024: Nice and cheerful place. At lunch there is also an ever-changing menu of the day! The tart and tiramisu are delicious, even to take away!
