If I had to pick the best accommodation and food during my two-week trip to Italy, this would be it without a doubt, and if I ever travel to Italy again, it would be to visit Il Cepo B&B. 14/05/2025: If you want to come and eat in Monteriggioni, Le Torri is a guarantee. Typical Tuscan dishes but also various fish options. Elegant without being pretentious, the place is a perfect balance between tradition and refinement, with a warm atmosphere and attention to detail. The service is attentive, discreet and friendly. Sergio is always ready to accommodate every request and make his customers feel at home.

10/05/2025: Owner and staff very kind, friendly and helpful. We arrived in Monteriggioni in the early afternoon just after 2pm, even though it was late they cordially welcomed us for lunch. Excellent cuisine with quality products. Sergio the owner kindly managed to reserve a table for us in the evening of the same day despite the full reservations for dinner (same day). 10/05/2025: Sunday 4 May lunch for 4: The first course of pasta topped with courgettes and burrata is tasteless, there are minimal traces of courgettes and burrata, a dish that turned out really badly. The ribollita is a little better, the portion is worth tasting. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for the order, for 4 first courses, so we thought it best not to order second courses or anything else. At the other tables the expected situation seemed equally critical.

07/05/2025: Very unique experience with exceptional service and extraordinary food, and wine. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful, the location had a vibe that was rustic and simple. The fortified town is totally worth visiting and this is the place to eat once inside.

16/05/2025: The whole experience was nice, the wine was really good but I was expecting to get a bit more. They give you more if you answer correctly to what each wine has, even though I answered correctly and they did gave me more I still believe it wasn’t enough. The was good and all the staff were very friendly and funny. I didn’t buy anything for shipping but they had the option (in the picture you can see the prices) They only have 2 options: regular pasta or vegetarian. I would recommend adding one more.

05/05/2025: Excellent address! Excellent value for money. Very friendly attentive staff. Democratic prices for a hearty and tasty meal.

02/06/2025: Historic bar near Monteriggioni, they serve quality cured meats and cheeses. Large outdoor veranda and small public parking. The only downside is the slightly inflated prices but otherwise ok.

13/05/2025: On the positive side, the food is very good. Pleasantly surprised. It looks like a truck stop, but with the added bonus of quality products. The service is acceptable, even if we might miss a waiter in jogging pants. The rest is ambiguous: no menu, so no prices, and no restaurant bill. And strangely, no dessert!

05/02/2025: Visitato in un periodo in cui a Monteriggioni e’ quasi tutto chiuso e non ci sono turisti. Arrivati alle 14.30 siamo comunque stati accolti con cortesia. Abbiamo gustato giusto un primo: dei gradevoli Pici cacio e pene, ben presentati e saporiti. Accompagnati ad un bicchiere di Nobile ci è bastato per rimanere soddisfatti. Prezzo in linea con la proposta e gestione molto cortese.

24/05/2025: Sweet, small cafe outside Siena. Happened upon it leaving the chaotic, lack of tourismo parking, Siena. Had a delicious pranzo and enjoyed conversing with the lovely lady running the ristorante.

28/02/2025: Ho cenato due sere e due pranzi durante riunione di lavoro. Bello l'ambiente, servizio un po' lento. Il menù non ho potuto sceglierlo ne vederlo perché prefissato da azienda. Tutto molto buono con porzioni giuste, a partire dagli antipasti ( uovo cbt e tagliolini di seppie) così come i primi (risotto zafferano, tortelli con ragù di carne e penne con le verdure) ed i secondi (hamburger di stinco, e due filetti di diversi tipi di carne). Superlativi i dolci ( mouse di nocciola, mouse di pistacchio e tortino al cioccolato tutti guarniti con salse di frutti bosco e cioccolato fuso). Essendo andata per lavoro non ho idea dei costi ma tutto molto buono e ben presentato

04/01/2025: Mangiato in questo ristorante una sera di inizio gennaio. Bella struttura molto curata, di fronte alla piscina del resort del Borgo San Luigi, vicino alla stupenda Monteriggioni. Buon menu e lista vini. Una nota di miglioramento riguarda il servizio: il personale è numeroso e molto gentile e disponibile, ma appare disorganizzato e ansioso, perdendosi le richieste dei clienti o invece affacciandosi ai tavoli in modo eccessivo. Una pecca facilmente risolvibile per rendere impeccabile l'esperienza.
