13/04/2026: The puff pastries are simply incredible. We had three delicious brioches. There was quite a variety, and some were truly enormous in size. They were well over the palm of your hand.
Crispy and flaky. Delicious.
Service was a little slow on a Sunday morning, but worth it.
09/04/2026: A good pastry shop in Colle Val d'Elsa. The cappuccino is good (€1.50) and the sweets are delicious.
I recommend the two-tone blackberry pastry (€2.50).
I have to say, it looks like a work of art.
And it's pretty good, too.

staff made my birthday party wonderful!! A very well-kept venue, with a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. The waiters were professional, attentive, and helpful. The food was delicious and the kitchen was punctual.
Highly recommended!

04/05/2026: Hotel located in the center of Colle Val d'Elsa. As its name suggests, it was once home to the local paper mill, whose products could be transported to the port of Pisa because the Elsa River was navigable at the time, allowing access to all the then-known markets. The rooms are welcoming and kept very clean. The food is plentiful and good. Parking near the hotel is a bit difficult. Parking is available about 400 meters away.

04/05/2026: Good pizzeria, nothing to complain about, beautiful view. Too bad that when I got home, checking the receipt, I noticed yet another "oversight" common to many restaurants: "The receipt doesn't match the 'non-tax' amount, i.e., the amount paid." I've attached a photo. Everyone is free to think what they want. Best regards.
29/04/2026: What a disappointing experience. This is without a doubt the worst restaurant we have ever eaten at.
The service was substandard. My husband had already finished his food completely while we hadn't even received ours yet. That is truly unacceptable and shows that there is absolutely no oversight or coordination in the service.
As if that wasn't enough, the staff also spilled a glass of cola over my daughter. These kinds of situations can happen, but the way it was handled was anything but professional and caring.
All in all, a very bad experience. We will absolutely not be coming back here.

The owner and his son are very helpful, kind, and friendly, and their commitment is evident.
We returned after about 7–8 years of operating under the previous management, with fond memories of the past experience.
We noticed some differences compared to then, especially in the attention to detail and the quality of the raw materials.
This isn't a criticism, but a constructive suggestion: investing even more in quality could further enhance an already welcoming and worthy business.

28/09/2025: We came in a group of ten for pizza. The pizza was average, the service simple and adequate for the location, and the price was fair. The idea of having one-liter bottles of beer was a good one, which isn't bad, and the price was fair.

15/03/2026: For God's sake!!!! The only customers there were us (about 13 people) and a table for two, but despite this, the wait was incredibly long!
Staff improvising as restaurateurs
Fingers in the dishes... poor food... worm in the fillet... terrible wine... unsuitable staff!
When we asked for parmesan, it was taken from a table belonging to two other customers, and something in the bowl was removed with our fingers (disgusting).
Excessive prices for what we ate and how we ate.

26/08/2025: We stayed three nights at the Relais Della Rovere and dined at the restaurant one evening. The hotel setting is very pleasant, especially the terrace in the summer evenings, but the quality of the food isn't always consistent, which is disappointing considering the price. The beef tartare was very good, but it lacked seasoning. The truffle pasta was good, but you could tell it wasn't homemade and it was cooked in a bit too much butter. The gnocchi were quite good, but the pesto was probably not homemade and lacked flavor. The wine list has a wide selection, but almost no bottles under €45.
We finished with a pecorino cheese board to share, worried we might be disappointed by the desserts. The board was quite generous with cheeses, but we're still looking for the accompaniments listed on the menu.
In short, for a meal costing over €60 per person, we were generally disappointed. I recommend the hotel, but unless you really don't want to go anywhere, skip the restaurant! I'll end on a positive note with the friendly and welcoming service.
