17/06/2025: I often stop at this pastry shop for a quiet breakfast. Both in summer and winter I can sit at a table and give myself 10 minutes of relaxation. In winter the indoor tables give a warmth and a sense of serenity. In summer, however, I sit at the outdoor tables, in the quiet square. Often a light breeze, like today, keeps the air fresh and sipping a cappuccino and tasting a good pasta becomes really pleasant. The area is quiet, and even if it is not an exclusive location, I prefer it to the more lively Piazza Arnolfo, a few steps away. If you pass by here and want to pamper yourself and relax I recommend this place. You will find kindness, serenity and courtesy. The staff is very kind and will be able to advise you in front of the specialties that will leave you in doubt about which to try, for their variety.

15/06/2025: Very nice agriturismo! The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything you need. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The pool was great! The dogs on the property are so sweet and cuddly. The camp is fantastic. Pure peace and quiet with a beautiful view. We love this agriturismo! Thank you for the wonderful days.

22/05/2025: A very nice agriturismo, which we visited as a family with two children in the summer of 2024. Simple but lovely accommodation, great pool, simple but sufficient breakfast, and excellent dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

24/05/2025: We took a walk I remembered that there was a restaurant around here I found it open and we went in the restaurant pizzeria la vela welcomed us even without a reservation and we ate well excellent service good meal 2 medium beers on tap ravioli with 4 cheeses and I ravioli with truffle cream really good to finish a sliced ​​rocket and parmesan I a mixed grill with a side dish of grilled courgettes and aubergines the cooking was perfect 2 coffees to finish the good price €33 per person out of the average because in Tuscany the average is €40 per person we had a good time and we will be back.

01/01/2025: Living in Pietrasanta (LU), where restaurants are often reserved for tourists due to excessively high prices, finding yourself in a quiet restaurant, where you eat really well (Tuscan food) and spend very little with a truly excellent quality-price ratio, is almost unbelievable. Absolutely recommended. Excellent food, attentive, helpful staff and fast times. There were 4 of us and we were all satisfied.

05/07/2025: We ended up in this rustic corner of the Val d’Elsa partly by chance, partly because we were hungry… and thank goodness! The Bona Osteria welcomed us with a smile, a fried fish and two large dogs treated like VIP customers The atmosphere is warm and genuine, just as it should be in an osteria where you immediately feel at home. The service? Fast and very kind We started with an appetizer and then went on with a light, crispy and seafood-scented fried fish… In short: excellent food, rustic and welcoming environment, and a significant plus – four-legged friends are welcome and pampered. Will we return? Of course, yes

29/06/2025: Discovered by chance returning from a tour of Tuscany. Excellent cuisine with dishes where Tuscan tradition mixes with a pinch of fantasy. Very kind and helpful staff, I have a food allergy, good choices even for vegetarians like me.

23/06/2025: Spent 103 euros for a water....2 starters...2 second courses...2 desserts....too much if I consider the food quality to be average but the starter plate was dirty (grey dust stains that could be wiped off with your fingers)...and the bread was served in a basket wrapped in a cloth napkin stained with wine..(used..?)...I don't recommend it!

18/05/2025: In posizione defilata, lungo la strada che da Castel porta a San Gimignano, la Locanda del Borgo è un ambiente tranquillo dove si mangia toscano e bene. Ottimi i pici al ragú bianco di cinta senese così come le caramelle ripiene con la pera e il formaggio versato a cascata. Gustosissimo il tagliere con affettati toscani (coppa, finocchiona e salame) accompagnato da crostoni e salsine, il tagliere di formaggi e…senz’altro la famosa fiorentina che qui è certo di casa. Prezzi non economici, ma ormai nello standard. Cena consigliata a chi si trova da queste parti.

01/07/2025: Beautiful view, ruined by the rudest service I’ve ever experienced in Italy! And I love Italians and I speak the language. Despite that, the male waiter (30ish?) —who barely spoke Italian—was shockingly unwelcoming. We simply wanted a drink and a meal, but he first refused us a drink, then insisted we sit at a table we didn’t choose (the restaurant was empty at around 13.30 and >35 degrees) even when we offered to move just two glasses ourselves. His attitude was inflexible and unkind. We left immediately—needless to say, we won’t be back and you shouldn’t either. Move on to Piazza Santa Caterina.

No one had ever surprised us by offering us the possibility of making a baby pizza for our little one, the empathy that the staff showed surprised us, things that should be natural that today are put in the background, thanks so much to all the staff!!!! The pizza is superb, one of the best I have ever eaten and the place is really beautiful, on this terrace, at sunset, you think you are there alone with your partner!!! Excellent Spritz!!! I would say exceptional is an understatement and I should have left a bigger tip! Next time I will, because we will be back!!! Thank you for doing your job in a serious, professional and empathetic way!! THANK YOU

27/06/2025: We found ourselves here by chance as soon as we sat down the waitress tells us that the wait for the kitchen is long and recommends two ready-made dishes... terrible choice the fish spelt disappointing and poor the cold pasta was basically a pasta without oil... immediately after we see some nice dishes coming out of the kitchen and being served to people who arrived after us... negative experience...

13/06/2025: I asked if they had a vegetarian sandwich, the clerk looked at the ready-made sandwiches and said no without even offering me an option, bread with tomato and mozzarella would have been enough. I find it absurd that in 2025 there are no vegetarian alternatives, I wasn't asking for anything sophisticated. The only thing I could have had would have been a farro salad for 10 euros.

23/04/2025: Aucun restaurant ouvert ce mercredi nous finissons dans ce restaurant. De prime abord nous sommes mal accueillis (on nous adresse peu la parole, ne nous assied pas, une fois assis pas de pain ni veau). Puis la commande faite et arrivée, une très bonne surprise avec un très bon poulet, et des bonnes gnocchis maison. Un verre de vin un peu cher. En résumé, un très bon repas qui mériterait un service plus aimable
