05/05/2026: My husband and I visited this restaurant last night, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting perfect for a relaxed evening out together. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, and everything felt thoughtfully done.
The food was definitely the highlight. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and you could really tell that fresh ingredients and care went into every bite. We especially appreciated how well everything was paced, giving us time to enjoy each course without feeling rushed.
Overall, it was a memorable night for both of us. Whether you’re going for a special occasion or just a cozy dinner, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be coming back.

02/06/2026: This farmhouse is ideally located for visiting the Abbey of San Gargano. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant is excellent, with a Florentine steak to sample. And everything else is second to none.
04/05/2026: We stopped at the San Galgano agroturismo during our bike trip, the grand tour of the Val di Merse. It was a truly rejuvenating break thanks to the impeccable service from the staff, the swimming pool (a bit chilly in April, but so refreshing after a day of cycling), and the restaurant offering delicious dishes (special mention to the vegetable side dishes, a welcome change from what you usually find in the region). In short, a stay in an absolutely idyllic setting that delighted us.

Trattoria sull'Albero

03/06/2026: The location looks like something out of a painting.
It's located inside a very refined and characteristic relais.
The restaurant overlooks the vineyards and features a huge cuercia (a wooden barn) in the center of the room. It's literally a treehouse restaurant.
The highlight, besides the view, is the staff, who are highly trained and, above all, friendly.
A truly pampering experience.
22/01/2026: We loved our stay at Borgo Santo Pietro and one of our favorite parts was the food at Trattoria sull'Albero. It was truly top notch!
The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy with several wood burning fireplaces and an outstanding view of the countryside. There were great indoor and outdoor bars, fire pits, patio seating, truly everything you could want.
Onto the food, which was SO SO good. Hands down the best pizza we had the entire time that we were in Italy. Nothing that we had wasn't delicious. The wild boar pasta and the fermented purple rice salad were also both stand outs. You can really tell that the ingredients are coming straight from farm to table.
We came home in October but I am still dreaming about this food months later.

30/06/2026: Unfortunately, the Wine Bar was closed on the day of our visit, so we didn't have the chance to stop in. And that was a real shame, because the place really invites you to do so.
Surrounded by greenery, among trees, shaded tables, and the timeless charm of the Abbey of San Galgano and the Montesiepi Hermitage, it exudes a rare sense of tranquility.
It's one of those places where you can easily imagine yourself with a good glass of wine in hand, enjoying the silence and beauty of the landscape. The setting alone is worth a stop.
I will definitely return, hoping to find it open this time.
02/06/2026: A restaurant near the Abbey. Very nice, simple atmosphere. Very good Tuscan food.
It's a shame about the unjustified hour-long wait (there weren't many people) and the lack of attentiveness from the staff. I think it's due to inexperience.
This aspect could be greatly improved.

12/08/2025: The owner is very friendly and helpful. We stopped here with our two large dogs by chance and were hungry before reaching the Abbey of San Galgano.
The atmosphere is very nice and well-kept. The platters are very rich and delicious, as are the bread and house wine.
It's a shame it's so far from home (PC), otherwise it would be one of our favorite places.

29/07/2025: All'inizio avevamo dei dubbi, visto che era l'unica soluzione vicino all'Abbazia.
Invece ci siano dovuti ricredere, piatti spettacoli (pici all'aglione veramente buoni) e carne di alto livello cotta benissimo.
Patate al forno saporite senza essere troppo salate.
Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto prendere i dolci, ma ogni piatto mangiato era di livellio
29/07/2025: Dopo una visita all'abbazia ci fermiamo in questo ristorante proprio di fronte.
Devo dire eccellente.
Antipasto burrata, crudo e bruschetta.
Pici all'aglione per mio marito, pasta in bianco per i bimbi, io passo direttamente al secondo.
Due tagliate di controfiletto cotte secondo quanto richiesto, costine di maiale (che i bimbi hanno divorato). Contorno di patate al forno (mio figlio ha fatto il bis) e altro contorno di verdure .
Prezzo adeguato alla qualità.
Molto soddisfatti!

12/07/2025: Ottimo per un crostone e pera pausa al fresco del bosco accanto a Gargano. Presenti anche piatti più elaborati e vendita di formaggi ed altro al suo interno.

26/04/2025: La posizione sarebbe anche buona con un bel panorama, ma il personale è veramente pessimo, la gentilezza e l’educazione non sanno neanche cosa siano. Uno dei peggiori locali in cui sia mai stato. Sconsiglio vivamente.

01/05/2025: Il tempo si è fermato in questo luogo. Semplicità, cortesia senza finzioni, ottime materie prime, poca scelta ed è giusto così. Entrate senza pretese e resterete meravigliati dalla soddisfazione per un semplice panino fatto al momento ❤️
27/04/2025: Stavamo tornando a casa da una vacanza in Toscana, siamo passati per caso davanti a questa osteria e ci siamo fermati verso le 14.00. Locale semplice e un pò datato, ma gestito da un simpatico Pugliese trapiantato in loco da oltre 20 anni. Ci ha servito abbondanti affettati, formaggi e altre leccornie del luogo, con cortesia e simpatia e con un prezzo modestissimo.
Super consigliato. Gli Anconetani!!

03/01/2025: Abbiamo letto le recensioni positive ma siamo rimasti delusi. Sconsigliati i crostini toscani, sono fette di pane, nemmeno tostate, con su dei sughi..da supermercato: almeno li avessero scaldati... I pici con ragù toscano privi di gusto e insipidi. Buono il cinghiale. Bella la vista dal piccolo locale. Prezzo, considerato che si definisce una trattoria e anche x il cibo ci è sembrato un po' alto.

25/05/2025: Il primo maggio eravamo alla ricerca di un locale in cui pranzare e ci siamo imbattuti per caso in questo ristorante. Location tipica ed elegante al tempo stesso immersa tra i vigneti e le colline toscane. Abbiamo pranzato a bordo piscina: spettacolare! Dal cibo al vino poi era tutto perfetto e nel solco della tradizione. Personale molto disponibile e cortese. Conto assolutamente in linea con quanto ci è stato offerto. Se solo abitassimo più vicino, sarebbe certamente uno dei nostri punti di riferimento preferiti!

30/07/2025: Si tratta del ristorante interno al villaggio turistico Hapimag. La cucina proposta è di tipo internazionale, con serate a tema riservate soprattutto a turisti stranieri. Interno molto elegante e camerieri assai professionali. Abbiamo provato la serata pizza e ci siamo trovati bene. nulla di eccezionale ma qualità sicuramente più che discreta. Nella stagione estiva sono sistemati anche numerosi tavoli nel prato anteriore sotto bellissimi e grandi tigli da cui il ristorante prende il nome.

13/05/2025: No me he alojado aquí o comido aquí, pero reservé 2 noches que desafortunadamente tuvo que ser cancelado. Cancelado bien dentro de sus términos y se han negado a reembolsar 965 € , responder a numerosos correos electrónicos o llamadas telefónicas. CUIDADO CON ESTE HOTEL y no pagues un depósito!
