This restaurant represents a fusion between Tuscan culinary tradition and technological innovation, offering a unique gastronomic experience in step with the times. The place has introduced something new that makes it unique: a robot waiter named Bob. The atmosphere is welcoming and with attention to detail with attentive and friendly service. The quality-price ratio is right.

23/02/2025: I was invited to this restaurant for lunch and I must say that it was an excellent choice. I didn't know the place, but I will definitely return. The portions are generous as well as good, we ordered two mixed land and two seafood appetizers, they served us a variety of excellent dishes, we divided them between 4 people and then fried prawns and calamari for 2 and fried potatoes for 2, even those divided into 4. The fish was excellent as was the dessert. And then the staff was very kind and very helpful.

Spazio estivo all'aperto, sulla caratteristica corte interna.
05/01/2025: Locale carino, personale cortese, cibo buono! Noi abbiamo preso il tagliere misto con salumi, formaggio e crostino poi i pici cacio, pepe e bergamotto e i tagliolini ai mirtilli e speck ed era tutto buonissimo 😋
Prezzi nella norma, ci ritorneremo!

02/10/2024: Wonderful place to stay. Our 2nd year here, and we have booked for next year also.
Amazing views, wonderful pool area.
The service provided by Max, Neila and Luciano is fantastic.
Very central, so easy to drive to other places, Volterra, Sienna, San Gimingnano, etc.
Casole is a short walk away for bars and other places to eat.
Il Colombaio, the restaurant pizzeria is about 5m away from the front of Tenuta Colombaio. Different businesses, but very very handy, good food. Make sure you book or you may not get a table.
Can't wait to get back!

The IL COLOMBAIO room on two levels (living room, bedroom and bathroom in the attic), truly immense and functional.
The abundant breakfast served by a good and kind collaborator.
The gardens and swimming pool are cared for in detail.
Thanks to Max's hospitality and courtesy it was like feeling embraced by a wave of heat.

It offers drinks, croissants, cutting boards and a wide variety of books, board games and pastimes.
Hot chocolate from a machine with cream spray €3.50
Modest prices for being in the main street of the historic center of the village.
Reachable from the main car park via the public lift located behind the keep and town hall, passing through a suggestive walkway and a very well-kept modern square.
06/10/2024: El mejor bar por lejos y el personal es tremendo
Los lugareños son muy amables y le dan la bienvenida. Todo sucede en el bar desde la mañana hasta la noche, un verdadero centro local y no todo sobre el alcohol! Los niños locales vienen y compran sus dulces y helados, etc. Un verdadero placer.
Fabuloso café y pasteles por la mañana y bocadillos de pizza, etc. durante el día
Gran parada para ciclistas!
Nos quedamos y nos sentimos parte.

04/10/2023: This restaurant experience was our favorite in Tuscany. It’s a small family-run gem up in the hills of a tiny historic village called Mensano. You feel like you discovered it once you get there. It’s comfortable and not over adorned. Beautiful in its simplicity. The service was kind and efficient. The wine was the “house” and it was perfect and elegant, not expensive. The food was the ultimate highlight. So so so delicious - the hearty Tuscan vegetable or tomato soups we so good! I’m sure because of the quality of the ingredients. And the braised wild boar dissolved in my mouth. Clearly made with love by the dear woman and her brother who own it. I felt all my troubles dissolve as we enjoyed our dinner here, having a great conversation with the owner Roberto - in broken but understandable English- about his food, his family, his story. We left there full in our bellies and our hearts.

03/01/2025: Scoperto grazie a chi le recensioni le fa onestamente su Tripadvisor, salone da pranzo molto, ambiente piacevole e caldo.
Ci hanno fatto visitare una splendida enoteca al piano superiore rigorosamente climatizzata e chiusa a chiave, ci siamo scelti un ottimo sangiovese in purezza e abbiamo mangiato molto bene, 1 antipasto di salumi molto buoni in 4 e tagliata per tutti, carne molto buona e ben servita, servizio di alta qualità fatto direttamente dal titolare. Prezzo un pò elevato ma se dovessimo ripassare da quelle parti ci fermeremo di nuovo perchè merita.
12/09/2024: Hemos estado viniendo a la Toscana durante 12 años, y siempre esperamos tener una cena maravillosa en Allá Pieve. Los propietarios son un equipo de marido y mujer. Paola es una chef maestra. Crea una deliciosa variedad de platos originales y tradicionales con ingredientes locales 100% frescos. La comida está muy bien presentada y el entorno es muy agradable y adecuado para este establecimiento de alta cocina. Villiam tiene credenciales de sumiller avanzadas, y se logra hacer recomendaciones de vinos que coinciden perfectamente con las entradas y su gusto. Su bodega es impresionante.
Hemos encontrado que su hospitalidad incluye una cálida recepción y respuestas sinceras a nuestras consultas con respecto al menú. Los panes recién hechos de Paola se llevan a la mesa una vez que pedimos, un placer. Tendemos a permanecer más tiempo en Allá Pieve y lo consideramos realmente una experiencia gastronómica de cinco estrellas. No te lo pierdas.
