21/03/2026: I found the prices significantly higher than average, especially considering the quality of the food. Service was quite slow: the staff tended to spend time on other tasks while customers waited, making the wait longer than necessary. One detail that struck me negatively was the Christmas panettone: the black packaging was unsuitable for the holiday season, conveying a rather sad impression rather than enhancing the product. Some products were decent, but overall there was considerable room for improvement, starting with a price review.

23/07/2026: The place is called "Mangia," but if you're really hungry or want to spend a pleasant evening and feel pampered, I recommend you try elsewhere. Reservations were made at 8:00 PM for a table for two. We sat down five minutes early and immediately ordered: two appetizers, two first courses, and a glass of rosé to celebrate an anniversary. The start was promising, but the management much less so. The appetizers arrived at 8:30 PM: a vegetable flan (structurally a ready-made tart) and a seafood salad made with frozen ingredients. There's nothing wrong with the frozen food itself, let's be clear; however, if I'm being charged €16, fairness and professional transparency would dictate that the presence of frozen/chilled products be marked with an appropriate asterisk on the menu, to allow customers to make an informed choice. The real masterpiece of management comes with the wait for the first courses. At 9:00 PM (with tables arriving well after us, already at the cafe), our dishes are still missing. We politely ask the waitress (the only one desperately running back and forth trying to mend our ways in a room clearly in complete chaos) for an update. Upon returning from the kitchen, she assures us that "they're plating up." Evidently, the plating required engineering precision, two stamps from the superintendency, and the approval of the scientific committee, since at 9:25 PM (after almost an hour and a half since our arrival and with stomachs still desolately empty) we decided to get up and go straight to the cashier to settle the dispute. Management's response? A quick and perfunctory "we hope to do better next time" and a €38 bill hammered down to the last cent. Not even the symbolic and purely commercial gesture of offering water to apologize for the inconvenience. The final feeling was that we weren't considered customers, but rather "encumbrances" to be managed and disposed of as quickly as possible to ease the pressure on the kitchen. Given the high-end restaurant prices, one would expect the bill to include top-notch service. A definite no-no.

27/06/2026: A pleasant discovery. Very nice place, prompt service, and very friendly waiters. The pizza peel is very thin and appetizing, delicious!

03/02/2026: I've been to this place at least 3 times and I've eaten both the pizza by the slice and the hamburgers, the latter of which are really good.

24/03/2026: Ladies and gentlemen, to eat well, and especially to eat fresh fish cooked with care and attention, you have to spend a little! But at this timeless Prato restaurant, the expense is worth the final satisfaction. The taste is there. And rest assured, you'll also find excellent wine options to keep you going!

22/02/2026: I dined at this restaurant after selecting it through the AIC app and calling days in advance to report my celiac disease. Despite the reassurances I received over the phone, the experience was disappointing. In a certified restaurant with advance notice, I would expect more careful management. While rice might be an acceptable (if uncreative) alternative to ravioli, I find it unacceptable to be told that gluten-free fried food wasn't available because they'd run out of flour. If a restaurant claims to be celiac-friendly and accepts specific reservations, it must guarantee the availability of basic ingredients. The catch of the day was good, while the other dishes we tried were average, but the final price was definitely too high. Furthermore, they offered us sweets served on a single plate containing meringues (supposedly safe) along with non-certified chocolates. Serving risky products in direct contact with permitted ones demonstrates a complete ignorance of the concept of cross-contamination. For a celiac, safety is not optional, and This mistake makes the entire meal potentially dangerous.

01/06/2026: Wow! This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! We had the homemade pasta (a dream!) and then the roasted chicken with arugula and Parmesan. The boiled beans on the side were incredibly delicious, and everything was perfectly balanced. One of the best restaurants we've ever been to (and we really love to eat!). The restaurant is just a 2-minute walk from the main square. The ambiance is lovely, both inside and out. The service is also top-notch! Make the short trip; you won't regret it! Highly recommended!

22/07/2026: The host was knowledgeable and friendly. We were comfortable and cool (25 degrees Celsius versus 31 in the city), and we ate well. The place is also very dog-friendly, with plenty of green space.

03/07/2026: Excellent fish and delicious pizza, both thin-crust and authentic. The atmosphere is perfect for the season; it's hard to find such a large outdoor space with a garden almost in the center of town. The staff is friendly, polite, and always attentive to customer needs.
