07/08/2025: carina la location con il giardino estivo si stava bene. cibo buono in particolare il carrè di maialino cotto a bassa temperatura era perfetto.unico appunto un pò complesso il servizio secondo me c'è un cameriere capo e gli altri se sono in difficoltà si affidano al lui che ovviamente non può essere ovuqnue.

12/07/2025: Dinner for two, we ordered an appetizer to share and a bottle of white wine (about €25). The appetizer was good, nothing special. We ordered steak, and they brought the cuts to your table on a trolley. We ordered "two and a half fingers" of steak. It arrived pre-cut, grilled, and of good quality, but the bone didn't match the rest of the meat. Two side dishes, a liqueur, no desserts or coffee. The result was €161 (they gave me 1.5 kg of steak back, but if it was 1 kg, it would have been a miracle), discounted to €150, or €75 each... pure madness! The location (a crossroads in Monsummano) wasn't worth it, the food was good but nothing exceptional, the place was nice in its ordinary way, and the service was excellent in its ordinary way. For the same price, there are plenty of other places that offer much better food... enjoy!

07/08/2025: If you are looking at very locally, traditional italalian restaurant, this place is definetely for you. 3rd generation family business, currently run by two brothers, when everything began in 1947 it’s absolutely incredible! Very fresh, exquisite food, warm welcoming, great pizzas and excellent. We have asked for some pasta out of menu, and yep, we received it. An amazing arrabiata, bolognese and carbonarra🫶🏻❤️🥰 + unique and remarkable stories told by Brothers 😊 Absolutely high reccomended and must stop on cusine map in Italy! Great job! See you again😊🇮🇹🫶🏻

07/06/2025: Just morning coffee at a local cafe on the road. Fresh sandwiches and croissants with good coffee, of course. We chose instead of breakfast in the apartment. The location on the street doesn't even bother.

15/08/2025: The absolute best gluten-free pastry shop in the entire Valdinievole! I'm a sucker for cream puffs, and their chocolate cream puff is SUBLIME! The chocolate is delicious, the choux pastry is delicious, and the filling is plentiful! 🤤 All their other pastries are also excellent, including cakes...the best I've ever had! They also offer some savory gluten-free options, which are also very good. At Quirini, I always find the gluten-free section with a variety of items to choose from, while at other pastry shops that claim to be gluten-free, you always find the same old stuff, and often it's even sparse! Both in quantity and quality! In short, Pasticceria Quirini is a paradise for those with a sweet tooth... finally! The staff is smiling, polite, and courteous; everyone always thanks and says hello, and their service is quite quick. Finally, the place is clean and tidy.

27/07/2025: Food: The best gluten-free pastry shop in the Valdinievole. Service: Friendly and professional staff, too bad they don't accept Amex. Ambience: Fantastic! The premises are a former butcher's shop, and the counter is a work of art.

15/08/2025: I'm sorry, I don't like giving bad reviews, but I make sandwiches better myself... What a shame. From the discount-store quality of the bread to the plethora of truly subpar sauces... I can't even begin to think about the meat. It took me 24 hours to digest that sandwich. Maybe only young people who can digest rocks eat them. But if a healthy 45-year-old man can't digest a sandwich, there's a problem.

05/07/2025: If you’re in town, you must come here! The food was absolutely delicious! We had the Tuscan Steak and it was tasty and melted in your mouth. Make sure you get dessert too, you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu! Highly recommend!!

15/07/2025: A small, family-run place with a soul and atmosphere (that's what it looks like), with a very friendly atmosphere. Very busy, mostly locals, with pizza being the king. We only tried the ice cream, which was delicious. We'd love to go back to try more; it's worth it!

15/08/2025: Place 3 was nice, the quality of the ingredients was obviously good, and the wine prices were fair. Except they served me a well-done steak... And honestly, I was pissed. You can't ruin meat like that. But we didn't feel like making a mess; we were with a group of friends, and the atmosphere was very lively after a long time without seeing each other. That's how it went, no problem. However, it must be said that the service isn't very friendly either; in fact, they try to be friendly, even too much in my opinion. Even less would be fine.

12/07/2025: One of those reviews I never want to write, especially for a local restaurant that I thought was good. We attended a charity event at this restaurant, and we had asked in advance if we'd be attending the following aperitif and if we had any allergies/intolerances (which we had communicated several times over the past few weeks). When we ordered, we were told to bring one of the trays WITHOUT LACTOSE OR CHEESE due to my casein ALLERGY. After a long wait (made bearable by the beautiful evening), the aforementioned tray was brought with Parmesan cheese sprinkled in the center over the cold cuts. I immediately pointed this out to the waiter, who justified himself by saying that it was lactose-free Parmesan (I know that those proteins decay in Parmesan cheese after 36 months, but unfortunately, in my case, the casein doesn't decay) and asked if the next tray (the one for one) could be made without cheese. The waiter insisted on taking it back, saying they'd make it again from scratch. After a few minutes, he returned with the same tray from which the Parmesan had clearly ONLY been REMOVED, leaving crumbs everywhere. When I complained that not only did I feel mocked but that their attitude was also extremely dangerous to my health, a member of staff literally pounced on our table and started ranting about the impossibility of guaranteeing zero contamination in the kitchen, when I was simply explaining that my condition is sensitive to contact contamination, not airborne contamination, and I had simply asked for a separate plate of cured meats and that was it. Moral of the story: no excuses, no new cold cuts, but fortunately some crostini arrived on a separate plate, and out of the four trays I ordered, I managed to eat at least those... I'm not angry about the exorbitant bill. I'm not angry if, due to lack of experience or haste, there was no ability or willingness to wash one's hands between each dish. I'm pissed off at having been mocked, because if, due to the dim lighting in the square, I hadn't noticed that the cheese had simply been removed, I'd probably be writing from a hospital... or worse.

23/04/2025: Courtesy and great competence. Excellent high quality food and drinks. Ideal for an aperitif but not only. Excellent welcome. Ideal place for a moment of relaxation, from breakfast onwards.
