Everything was perfect: the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were kind and attentive, and the food was excellent, both in terms of quantity (just right) and quality.
The price was more than fair. I'll definitely be back!

06/12/2025: A very romantic restaurant with just a few tables in a historic villa in Bientina. A husband and wife team run the place. She serves impeccable, attentive service, always with a smile. He's in the kitchen, preparing incredible dishes. The menu changes and focuses primarily on meat and game, cooked with incredible finesse. A special mention goes to the reinterpretation of the "typical liver crostini," which is truly exceptional. It's become one of my all-time favorite dishes! (And I don't like livers!). Excellent wine list with a very fair markup. We've already been back and will be back again! Highly recommended.

15/02/2026: I spent Valentine's Day here. Everything started out fine. They seated us in the room with music, and after about ten minutes the appetizers arrived (we had the set menu): the dish was good, but the portions were really small. From then on, the evening almost turned into a nightmare. We waited an hour and a quarter for the first course. We could practically see the first courses being served all around us, but nothing for us. Once they arrived, we ate, and the same thing happened: the dish was good, but the portions were small (at least mine, since I had the fish menu). For the second course, needless to say, we waited another 40 minutes. While we waited, there had been some music playing (not themed, but disco house, which is something you don't expect on a Valentine's Day evening), but two gentlemen arrived and started singing and playing themselves with a microphone and guitar. Except the music was so loud, my head started pounding so hard I wanted to leave without finishing my meal. In fact, when the main course arrived, we ate (the food wasn't even good here) and my boyfriend tried to make the gesture to turn down the music, but he didn't pay attention to anyone. So, seeing me feeling really bad, he got up to find someone and ask for dessert to go. A very kind lady moved us to the next room (without the music, meaning we could hear it, but a little less) and we waited another 35 minutes for dessert. It was anything but a chocolate panna cotta. It was more like something whipped up on the spot and thrown on the plate. Of course, when it came time to pay, they didn't even make us wait a minute. It's a shame the menu wasn't worth the price at all.
The waiters, all very kind, were constantly apologizing for the delays, both to us and to other people.
It was supposed to be a Valentine's Day surprise from my boyfriend, but it was torture from start to finish. He himself apologized to me constantly because he didn't believe the evening would go that way, given that he'd been there before and had a great time.
I'm sorry, but I'll never set foot in this place again. I left with a terrible headache, as well as being hungry.

09/03/2026: One of the best pubs in the area for a pleasant evening: the beer and food never disappoint. To celebrate the first anniversary of the new management, we were kindly offered dessert: served by Sara, who is knowledgeable, cheerful, kind, and very friendly.

We came here with friends, and were immediately captivated by the Mona Lisa painting next door, the upbeat music, and the homemade sandwiches.

07/09/2025: It's good gelato, yes, but I know plenty of super-good gelato shops, and it's not like there's an exclusive here. It can be as good as you like, but a €4 cone where you can only get two flavors is truly insane. Unfortunately, it borders on stealing. How much should a family with kids spend for gelato? I'll happily return to gelato shops that offer excellent gelato but, above all, remain honest. Crocione.

01/03/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant, and we won't be back. There were three tables in the room, including us, so it wasn't very crowded. We each ordered a dish (there were three of us), and the side dish arrived first, followed by the main course 10 minutes later, the second course another 10 minutes later, and finally mine, after everyone else had already finished eating. My soup had very dirty mussels and way too much pepper (I even thought I could taste the basil, but I later proved otherwise).
It wasn't to my liking; I can't tolerate too much pepper, so I didn't eat it. The quality of the fish in the other dishes wasn't great either.
When the young lady asked me if she could take the soup away, I replied, "Yes, please," and with gratuitous arrogance she said, "But you'll pay for it!"
No, are you kidding? Of course I paid for it, I didn't say or ask for anything... but never, and I mean never, do you address customers like that!
Of course, we got up, paid the bill, and got coffee somewhere else. Once we got home, I looked at the receipt and it didn't add up... 1 less place setting, 1 extra dish, and things we hadn't ordered.
So we went back to the restaurant to settle the bill, but the experience was definitely a negative one.

19/11/2025: A delightful pastry shop in the heart of Bientina. Very friendly staff, a wide selection of desserts, some less savory but still always on point, even for deliveries. The atmosphere is very relaxed and refined. Perfect for a breakfast with friends or a business lunch. Worth a visit!
10/09/2025: The zebra crossing is incorrectly marked on Google, opposite Halbmond Street.
The cappuccino and croissant are very good and delicious. There are tables outside and inside, and parking is available right in front if there's space. Otherwise, park in the parking lot, a 3-minute walk away.

The chocolate waterfall on the wall is still a marvel!
The variety of fresh pastries available in the late morning is quite limited, even if you're there on the weekend, and the price is high for the quality/price ratio.
The tray in the photo cost over €19, all light, foamy pastries, so not particularly heavy.
Basically, 20 mini pastries for €1 each!!! Crazy!
They're also beautiful to look at, but their flavors aren't very bold and they're a bit indulgent and tasty.

05/08/2025: Beautiful, recently renovated pastry shop. The interior is modern and well-kept. Parking in front is very convenient. Being local, I often go there for breakfast and to pick up sweets to take home. The breakfast is not bad at all; the pastries are good, but there's not much of a savory selection. The Valdostana croissant is very good. The unique cubic croissant is very good; I also tried the "original" one from Turin (for triple the price), and I have to say that Alex's isn't far off the mark, but in my opinion it's just a showpiece... the other filled pastries, whose names I can't remember, are definitely worth more attention; they're similar to the Viennese one. The sweets on the counter (both fresh and dried) are good, but I didn't find anything special, and I think they're a bit pricey.

30/08/2025: Pizzas ordered for delivery at 7:45/8:30 PM but arrived at 9:15 PM. When we first called, at 8:40 PM, the answer was "they're coming out of the oven right now." Two minutes later, they called back and said, "They'll be out of the oven in 20 minutes and we'll bring them to you." It might be a bit confusing, but this is already the second time we've ordered and they've arrived more than half an hour late. What bothered me most was the hasty response to our first call; it almost seemed like a joke. The pizza with the stuffed crust had all the contents spilled out and dripped onto the cardboard, another pizza was completely cold, and the others were decent except for the decidedly undercooked and acidic tomato. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this pizzeria enough.

At 9:58 PM, 10:00 PM, 13:13 PM, and 10:30 PM, we were told they had "just left"...
REALLY TERRIBLE!
