15/05/2024: It's impossible to go to Pisa without stopping for ice cream and in this ice cream shop it's excellent. The place is small but has outdoor tables.

06/04/2024: We booked at this place due to the excellent reviews, (it would even seem like the second pizzeria in all of Pisa)......but once we got there we should have understood that, given the very few customers.... something didn't add up!! !!! Lots of choice on the menu from fried foods, to normal pizzas to special ones, to panuozzi as well as to the dishes of the day.....but then in the end both of the two pizzas ordered despite having good ingredients (this is because fortunately we didn't get any stomach ache) still had the raw dough!!!! Raw and inedible cornice.... The base, which although extremely thin was still raw and tasteless!!!!! But let's get to the extremely painful point, Panuozzo for the child with the practically raw sausage inside!!! And this is definitely a shame..... I specify that I use this term - certainly important - because we can understand everything!!!!! ..... for example with the cooking of the pizza something went wrong, because the "official" pizza chef was on holiday or on sick leave or the oven had a problem regulating the temperature...... but not being able to cooking a sausage intended for consumption by a child is truly an indication of total indifference towards not only customers but the need to avoid health consequences!!!!!! No draft beer!!!!! scandalous toilets, with a folding door which, in addition to being broken and dirty, would in theory have had to divide the toilet (without toilet seat) from the anteroom!!!!! Everything in plastic from cutlery to tables and poor cleanliness in general!!!!! ...... a nauseating smell that at a certain point came from the kitchen..... The only positive note was the kindness of the young waitress who, at our request, brought the aforementioned sausage back to cooking. The owner or in any case the one who proved to be one, although aware of the fact that the panuozzo sauce had been cooked again, did not bother in the slightest either to apologize or to offer us a coffee (which we would certainly have refused!!!!) Highly not recommended.... stay away!!!!!!

06/04/2024: Apparently it has changed management (pity, the old owner was nice), honestly bringing a few defects compared to before: - Menu only via QR code, which is popular these days but an old paper menu is always convenient for the less technological (a customer had problems accessing it). Scrolling through 50 pizzas on your phone screen isn't exactly the best. - The dough was different, wholemeal, I would say a little bland compared to before. - The prices, the pizza I usually get (nothing gourmet) has increased by 20%. In short, it has transformed into a pizzeria for tourists in all respects. We used to go there for lunch break almost weekly, now it will probably happen less.

07/04/2024: Family atmosphere that provides a local experience, we ordered gorgonzola risotto with truffles and spaghetti with seafood, both came in great quantity and the cost was very good compared to other places.

06/04/2024: Food was good which is surprising considering the location. However it's quite expensive for the portions and they charge extra for everything without telling you. We had to pay for the water, the bread (even if we didn't eat it) and they even charged for the ketchup. So, a decent option near the tower of Pisa but still a tourist trap.

06/04/2024: You can go there with your eyes closed. Great restaurant next to the Tower of Pisa, the service is great but especially the mama mia lasagna, incredible.

04/04/2024: We ate there another time and returned on Sunday 31/03/24, Easter day but we were not at all satisfied. There was a lot of confusion given the turnout in the rooms which were really full of diners, which is also why the service was quite poor, too many people, infernal chaos almost like a festival. The dishes, even those that are not too well prepared, some first courses (paccheri with seafood ragù) are cold and poorly seasoned, let's even add the cooking to be too al dente. I don't want to list the other unpleasantnesses.... I hope it was just a separate episode because the restaurant usually gets excellent reviews. We will return and we will have proof that it was just a particular day in which even the staff seemed to be in difficulty. G.C.

28/11/2023: Noi siamo venuti qui per un aperitivo dopo il tramonto e siamo rimasti molto colpiti... C è un atmosfera quasi magica... Aperitivo in riva al mare, sdraiati su comodi cuscini, posti su stuoie di bambù molto caratteristiche... Eravamo illuminati dalla luce della luna e da piccole candele poste lungo la spiaggia e su ogni stuoia... Il tutto era accompagnato da ottima musica in sottofondo... Lo consiglio per una serata originale e diversa dal solito, all insegna del relax ....
