15/11/2025: One of our favorite places. Even in autumn and winter—or perhaps even better than in summer. A rustic atmosphere and very attentive service. Great classics of Versilia tradition. A fine wine cellar, too.

05/01/2026: Querceta's historic pastry shop, perhaps the first one to open in Querceta. My grandfather used to buy the pastry on Sundays after Mass. Their signature dishes are the diplomats and rum babas, which I think are still as good as they used to be. The staff is friendly and fast.

27/12/2025: Historic pastry shop in Querceta, 50 meters from the train station. Few tables available, given the small size of the place. Classic selection of breakfast pastries and Italian pastries. Good coffee and cappuccino, and the pastries are not bad (especially the shortcrust pastry, puff pastry, and bomboloni). The brioches and custard (not very aromatic and too firm) could be improved. The figure-eight-shaped Dutch pastry is very soft, while the ribbon pastry is too bready and not very well risen. Friendly staff (all female) and average prices.

11/01/2026: A hotel nestled between the sea and the Apuan Alps, very close to Forte dei Marmi and other picturesque towns in the area, including Pietrasanta. Hospitality and kindness make this hotel the perfect place to spend a few relaxing days. Parking is included.

13/07/2025: Trattoria-bar in Ripa, a few minutes' drive from the Medici Palace of Seravezza. The interior is simple, with several tables outside in a small, mostly uncovered garden. The tordelli with ragù and panzanella are delicious, but the tagliatelle with mushrooms (without the cream) deserve a second look. The fried fish looks tempting, but we didn't try it, having opted for a "meat menu." The dessert selection is limited, and the tiramisu (essentially a glass of whipped cream) is a must-try. The chocolate cake is delicious. The female-led service is friendly and helpful. Prices are average.

12/04/2026: We've been going for Easter for years and are always satisfied. Home-cooked food, generous portions.

25/12/2025: The atmosphere was poorly heated, and the food was cold and served with stale bread. The only things we appreciated were the panzanelle and focaccia, served 45 minutes before the appetizer. To forget.

20/12/2025: For me, it's the best restaurant in the area. Authentic and delicious cuisine. The menu is both homely and traditional. If you fall for something, you'll fall for it on your feet. The first courses are excellent, from penne all'arrabbiata to farfalle with tuna, from rigatoni with gorgonzola and sedanini to the classic tordelli from Versilia. When chef Fabrizio is in the mood, he also cooks absolutely exceptional seafood dishes, starting with spaghetti allo scoglio. From Monday to Saturday, for lunch (opening at 12:00 p.m. and closing at 2:00 p.m.), you can choose the business lunch menu: for €14, you get a first course, second course, side dish (your choice of all three), bread, water, house wine, and coffee. For those who prefer a lighter option, they make delicious salads that you can customize to your liking. In the evening (Wednesday to Sunday) and at Sunday lunch, even without the "business lunch" option, prices remain affordable. You must try their steak, as well as the chef's desserts, which are truly remarkable. The atmosphere is simple, the service attentive and reasonably quick. I prefer going there for lunch during the week, because the atmosphere is warmer and more authentic, with workers, retirees, and other workers enjoying the excellent dishes.

10/09/2025: Very good, very slow service but at these prices it's okay. I was pleasantly surprised, but my first impression hadn't been that great.

01/12/2025: Although this gelateria has undergone some changes compared to Orso Bianco 30 years ago, where the gelato counter was twice as long, I have to say I still appreciate their gelato. If I'm nearby, I make the most of it, even though I eat less gelato than I did when I was a kid. What still makes this place unique compared to other local gelato shops is its fenced-in outdoor area with chairs and tables, but above all, a small play area for children, where mothers or parents can relax and enjoy an gelato while their children play.

17/03/2026: Gaio, the host, leaves nothing to chance. The hospitality is incredible, the food quality (all regional) top marks, the appetizers are enough to make a dinner, the first courses are homemade, and the meats are the restaurant's strong point. The atmosphere is beautiful, traditional, and welcoming. Despite the crowds in the summer, the clientele is diverse: tourists, regulars, and many locals. My favorite restaurant in Forte dei Marmi.

15/02/2026: A subdued experience. The prices seemed too high for the culinary offerings. The location is in a dated rustic style and, in my opinion, does not justify the final bill. I found the markups on the wine list decidedly excessive.

19/08/2025: The pizza is certainly not the best in the region. The price is commensurate: very cheap. We had a really hard time ordering because the lady was very annoyed, wanting to do everything quickly; we felt unwelcome in this pizzeria from the very first moment. It was obvious that she didn't want to serve us. Perhaps it was because we were there with two small children. The lady (owner) obviously didn't speak English, but spoke a little quickly in Italian. All attempts to explain things to her via online translator failed. But I wouldn't recommend this pizzeria. The pizzas weren't moist, so it's not worth it. The atmosphere is okay.

12/05/2025: Beautiful, well-kept place, welcoming owner makes pizza 🍕 very good, also sweet, smiling, welcoming staff ♥️♥️♥️🌸💐🌹 but besides pizza there is also hamburger or chicken nuggets, fried chips 🍟, then there are sweets with mascarpone and Nutella very good ♥️♥️♥️ fair prices ✅ thank you so much ♥️ for dinner we had a great time ♥️🌹💐🌸

05/03/2026: We went for lunch for work two days, I ate very well, especially the fish, the mixed seafood, and the anchovies. The pasta and the first courses were also excellent. If I were to go on a motorbike with friends, I would definitely stop there. The food was excellent and the dishes were prepared to perfection.
