07/10/2025: A charming and well-maintained grill restaurant in the center of Porcari, with well-spaced tables and tasteful decor. This restaurant focuses on meat, and it certainly doesn't disappoint; the tartare is excellent. Several steaks are available, including the Prussian steak, which was bold and incredibly tender. A good selection of wines, and Rossano, the host, will make you feel at home. The price is fair for the quality, highly recommended.

16/07/2025: I was staying near Lucca, and like always, I relied on Google reviews to find a trattoria, and I immediately found the right place: Trattoria da Bigio. The main menu is seafood (just what I was looking for). Excellent!!! Seafood carbonara and then fried fish, accompanied by a good house wine. Excellent dishes, very attractive prices, wonderful hospitality. Definitely a place I will return to for an excellent dinner!!! Compliments to everyone, including the Chef!!!!
06/06/2025: Found by chance reading the reviews on Google, we went to this restaurant one evening in a group of seven people.
The place is very welcoming, furnished with various objects and posters of various films, typically tavern with wicker chairs.
The waiter was very helpful, he accommodated our requests by letting us taste many dishes and courses, since we couldn't decide.
Very good appetizers, exceptional first courses, especially the seafood carbonara, it was all really very good, excellent quality and excellent preparation.
In the end we were all speechless, when he presented us the bill, we thought he had made a mistake, really excellent quality/price ratio!
Thank you very much for the beautiful evening, keep it up!

02/09/2025: We've been to this restaurant several times, and each time is a confirmation.
We've had the pleasure of trying the à la carte menu, the daily menu (really affordable: only €12 for lunch Monday through Friday!), and the tasting menu.
We've tried both seafood and meat dishes, and every course is always carefully prepared, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. Flavor never fails!
Another strong point? Definitely the staff: the ladies in the dining room are kind, helpful, and always smiling.
You feel welcomed, pampered, almost like at home.
The restaurant is very well-kept and clean.
As for the quality/price ratio, there's little to say. It's truly excellent: just the right portions, beautifully presented dishes, top-quality ingredients, and a more than fair price for what you get.
Highly recommended for those looking for good food and a welcoming atmosphere!

20/09/2025: If you go for gluten-free pizza I recommend you go wide... the pizza base is already made and small (half a plate of pizza) and the cost for a margherita is 8 euros... the normal pizzas are average, the only flaw is the atmosphere, few tables, I didn't like it... well, the staff, I won't go back.

12/10/2025: We went to Cecio tonight and, as always, the pizza was very good, with high-quality ingredients and many different flavors with truly tasty pairings.
Then tonight, they had the winter menu, which consisted of 5/6 pizzas inspired by autumn and winter. (At a discounted price of €9, by the way.) In short, don't listen to the negative reviews; the pizzas are excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the wait times are normal (it was packed tonight, but we didn't wait long).
From my point of view, there's only one slight disappointment: the noisy dining room. The atmosphere is very nice, but unfortunately, it's noisy.
Regarding prices, true, there are pizzas for €16, but we all go grocery shopping, and there's a huge difference between the smart products and the branded ones, both in taste and price. It's the same here: if you want certain ingredients on your pizza, they cost money. So I don't understand the controversy in some of the comments.
27/09/2025: I must have been unlucky, but the pizza I ate the other day didn't seem exceptional. The waitress was friendly, but the dining room was a bit noisy.

25/07/2025: The owner claims her bar is different, and she's right: I've never seen a bar where they charge you for what you don't order. I paid by card and found myself short €2.50 because the "lady" had the audacity to charge me for a can of Coke I didn't ask for simply because she decided that was the right thing to do with my card. She deserves a complaint. The high rating for service is only due to the presence of evening staff, who could easily be employed during the day with much better results.
One piece of advice would be to avoid using other people's money to settle the bill at the end of the day, so it's better to avoid spending money on crap like cherry cola and the like that nobody cares about, and turn on the air conditioning. And others I won't mention because it's already embarrassing. Terrible.

05/01/2025: Ordinato per telefono diverse pizze da asporto tra cui una focaccia con abbondante prosciutto di Parma. Certamente il prosciutto era abbondante... Peccato che senza che fosse stato richiesto in alcun modo...la focaccia fosse stata tagliata e, ovviamente calda, il prosciutto inserito al suo interno. Ovviamente il prosciutto caldo è diventato immangiabile. Roba che la pizza con ananas è un piatto gourmet.
10/09/2024: Pizza e pinza buone , mi è piaciuta la pinza con farina di riso. E stato buono anche il tagliere di salumi e formaggi Unico problema l'attesa un po' lunga circa 40/45 minuti bene anche il rapporto qualità prezzo
