20/09/2025: The staff is friendly and dedicated, but the "boss" of the establishment asks paying guests to leave even when they're still talking. I've never experienced anything like that in Italy. No go!

05/09/2025: We had a plate of fresh pasta with vegetables. Very tasty and good. The service was quick and friendly. We were so hungry we forgot to take photos of the dishes ;-) No vegan dishes were listed on the menu.

22/09/2025: Ordered with Glovo. The food was all cold, the Coke was warm. The sandwich was truly embarrassing for the price. The bread from the packets was cold, you could tell it hadn't been baked or grilled at all, with a slice of meat and sauces. The baked potato, I still wonder what it was and what I ate... A very greasy potato to dip in sauce. The fries with the sandwich were cold and limp. I tried it as an alternative to McDonald's, but honestly, I truly regretted the choice. Never again.

15/09/2025: It's fine for a snack, less so for dinner... They haven't raised the prices lately, but they've definitely reduced the portions. Personally, I left feeling hungry.

14/09/2025: Very good pastries...but the prices are too, and I mean too, exaggerated. 24 pastries for 36 euros, mind-blowing.

11/09/2025: Historic pastry shop, modern atmosphere, excellent quality of the products sold, on peak days there is a bit of a wait because there is often a queue at the checkout

13/08/2025: I find it unacceptable to pay €1.40 for a macchiato and €1.30 for a regular one. It's a shame because the coffee is good. But I won't go anymore.

12/10/2025: No more aperitifs like a few years ago...neither good nor bad, as they say...obviously, the prices aren't the same as they were pre-Covid, either...but I think it's more or less like this everywhere now...rating 6.5/7. Let's see what the new management does to possibly raise the rating...edit: May 2025, rating could be improved...good aperitif! Good price. Rating 8...further edit...although the food is good, the new serving style is still a bit limited in quantity and also higher in price...in short, it was better before...rating 7

05/09/2025: This beachfront spot is great for an aperitif or pre-dinner drink. €12 includes a generous platter and drink. Very friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back soon!

30/09/2025: The pizzas were good, the fries were really undercooked. The service was alright, a little slow when things started to pick up (we were there quite early, but it started to fill up when we were about to order dessert). The outside area was really nice. I felt the prices were a tad too high compared to other places in the area.

03/09/2025: Excellent pastry shop Every morning we had our cappuccino and croissant at this excellent pastry shop. You have to go early, otherwise there are few good pastries and cakes left. The welcome is as good as their desserts.

09/10/2025: I was looking for a gluten-free pizza, and I found it. But that's where the fun ends. I ordered four takeout pizzas, as per the attached receipt. I notice the price is a bit steep, but I get over it. Then I read a €1.50 surcharge on the receipt for a "lactose-free" pizza, and I'm a little uneasy, as that's a rather unusual surcharge. Then I see €11 for a pizza with sausages, and I'm worried. I get home, open my box containing a focaccia with ham and mozzarella (also €11, which I imagined would be a wonderful scene), and I shudder: I see a tiny focaccia with a generous slice of prosciutto and a layer of mozzarella a couple of microns thick. It's true that many pizzerias make focaccias smaller than pizzas, but that's going too far. I taste it (and the Margherita) and finally come to the conclusion: the star is deserved, except it's not Michelin. Can I make the most obvious joke in the world? The pizzeria is happy, but I'm not.

27/09/2025: Unspeakable service. We booked at 8:00 PM, and at 8:35 PM, no waiter had yet come to take our order, even though we'd let them know we were ready to order. Eventually, we left, having realized the tone of the evening. I recommend assigning another waiter to serve orders.

05/06/2025: siamo tornati memori della bella esperienza, sicuramente ci ritorneremo ancora Locale semplice proprio come le trattorie di un tempo, piatti davvero buoni, porzioni generose, personale gentile e sempre disponibile e alla fine anche il conto è una bella sorpresa, Marchino fa capire che è ancora possibile offrire qualità a prezzi onesti. Davvero complimenti. Da provare, l'antipasto misto della casa, i maltagliati al ragù di cinghiale, le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, i funghi fritti.....

25/04/2025: Piacevolissima sorpresa e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci hanno trovato un tavolo anche senza prenotazione e poi abbiamo gustato un antipasto sfiziosissimo. Ottima pasta fresca con tartufo e tordelli profumatissimi. Buon prodotto anche il vino della casa.

10/09/2025: Google Maps says "sober hotel with a nightclub" – that phrase doesn't fit at all! It's a "simpler" but clean and welcoming holiday hotel practically right on the seafront (they offer dinner for half/full board or spontaneous restaurant guests, but no nightclub). The dining room is rather austere and cool, but the food is very good! The street is busy, even at night, but it's not very loud – it never bothered us. There were three of us there, including our 15-year-old daughter. The breakfast was good, with options such as fruit, eggs, jams, nut spreads, cakes, and bruschetta. Some items are served after you select them, presumably to reduce food waste from overfilled plates. We loved it! Highly recommended!

08/09/2025: When you go on vacation, you're supposed to rest and enjoy yourself, but unfortunately, we weren't able to do that optimally at this hotel. We encountered several issues that irritated us and even caused us sleepless nights on some nights. First of all, the breakfast was very limited. You can choose from two different types of bread and two types of croissants. They also offer cottage cheese bowls with muesli, fruit, and various sweet dishes (pancakes, cake, and pie). It might just be that we're spoiled, but a nice fried or scrambled egg wasn't available, and toast wasn't an option either. What was good about breakfast was the service. You could order whatever you wanted, and they would put it on your plate. They also asked for your coffee/drink and brought it to the table. Now, on to the hotel room, which had quite a few shortcomings. The bed was very hard, which meant I woke up a few mornings with back pain. The curtain was very translucent, so daylight woke us up as early as 7:00 or 7:30 AM. The room is also very noisy, and you can hear everything in the hallway, including the cleaners who start chatting at 8:00 AM. The bathroom sink was so low that even my wife (165cm tall) had to bend down to wash her hands. The shower head is mounted so that it points at the sliding glass door, a completely illogical layout, and you can't even use the strongest jet because it hits the glass before you do. And worst of all, the air conditioning unit suddenly starts vibrating after a few hours. So loudly that it wakes you up in the middle of the night. This caused us quite a few sleepless nights. We went to reception twice because of this, and the first time they said we couldn't hear anything, and the second time they said a technician had come. However, on our last night before leaving, it happened again, but oh well... complaining was pointless then. Changing rooms wasn't an option either, according to the morning shift receptionist. When we explained our irritations and dissatisfaction with the room, this receptionist showed little sympathy. She looked at us as if she were seeing water burning; I don't think she understood half of the English. All in all, we left three days earlier than planned because it didn't give us a holiday feeling or a peaceful atmosphere, and unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate us. One more point: Yes, they do have a free bike service, but it comes with the feeling of hoping nothing breaks or falls off every time you climb a flight of stairs. The bikes all have some defect and are mainly held together with zip ties. Our compliments to the evening shift receptionist, who listened to all our complaints and was very sorry that we had such a bad experience at the hotel. Unfortunately, she also indicated that the hotel owner probably won't do anything about it. Hence this review to inform others about the current state of the hotel. Not recommended.
