09/06/2026: I returned to this place after several years for pizza, hoping to reconsider a negative experience. We ordered two pizzas and a Weiss beer. The pizzas arrived, we started eating, but there was no sign of the beer. I asked a waiter who was setting up a nearby table, but, ignoring my request, he continued his work and then disappeared into the kitchen. I was forced to ask another waiter for more, who finally brought it to me after I'd already eaten half the pizza. Furthermore, the flavor of the pizzas was completely overpowered by the burnt crust (perhaps due to the oven being dirty with residue that hadn't been properly cleaned?). I went to pay and, while waiting for the bill, expressed my disappointment at the bitter taste still in my mouth that not even the beer could remove. No response from them. The receipt arrived and I noticed that they had charged a bottle of water (€2.50) that I had never ordered. Again, the words "sorry" never came; on the contrary, I was practically treated like a liar, since according to the cashier, I had ordered it. In response, the coins from the water refund were thrown on the counter as if in charity. I should point out that I'm not accustomed to writing reviews or checking receipts, but faced with such treatment, I felt compelled to do so. I will definitely never return. I'm adding these lines after reading the owner's response. I confirm that they still don't offer an apology, and, in fact, they insist on calling me a liar, claiming my plate was clean. I reiterate that, even when paying, I specifically pointed out that they would find the burnt remains of the pizza on my plate.

02/05/2026: The food was acceptable, nothing exceptional, but okay. I found some dishes, like the €15 seafood salad, to be expensive for what they are. What disappointed me most was having to pay for a cover charge in a place with no table service; you have to set the table yourself and go get your plates (which is fine, as long as you don't pay for that service).

27/06/2025: I'm sorry, but I can't find a word to describe this restaurant. We can't just improvise... extremely high prices for terrible food! Let's forget about the service... I felt like I was on a joke!! Spaghetti with clams and two squid-stuffed meatballs and two sea bream-stuffed ones, with a lettuce leaf and a couple of tomato slices... I don't dare describe the sea bass/sea bream fillets... covered in pepper... let's forget about it... I hope you're aware of what you're offering your customers... Then... on a Monday night with three tables in total... I can't even find the excuse of chaos... the weekend...

25/05/2026: For many years, this has been our favorite spot for ice cream, coffee, and cakes. This year, for a large number of customers, there was only one staff member. How are they supposed to manage??? The following customers came into the café (Italian) and were served one after the other. I stood at the gelato counter for seven minutes and wasn't served. Thanks for nothing—especially to the owner, who doesn't provide enough staff.

14/06/2026: Possibly the worst service station in Italy, a total disgrace both in terms of cleanliness and food, a mixed roast that stank not to mention the taste of spoiled meat, I wonder where the NAS controls are. A place to avoid, it would require immediate closure.

29/04/2026: If you're looking for a truly excellent pizza, you've come to the right place. The absolute highlight is without a doubt the pizza dough: it's simply perfect! Wonderfully crispy around the edges, beautifully thin in the middle, and tasting exactly as you'd expect from an authentic pizzeria. You can immediately taste the genuine craftsmanship and love that went into it. The service is a bit of a mixed bag, as it varies somewhat from day to day: if you're lucky, you'll get a server who is humorous, charming, and attentive, which really enhances the evening. On other days, the staff sometimes seem a little unmotivated or stressed. In conclusion: if you can overlook the occasional fluctuations in service, you'll be rewarded with one of the best pizzas in the region. I always enjoy coming here and can definitely recommend a visit to any pizza lover! 🍕🍷

29/09/2025: We had lunch there yesterday and it was a lovely surprise: excellent food, impeccable service, and excellent value. We'll be back. P.S. We saw at the table next to us that they also serve a sumptuous sweet and savory Sunday brunch!

23/09/2025: Excellent gelateria and cocktail bar, high-quality artisanal gelato (one of the best in the entire surrounding area, in my opinion). I recommend the salted pistachio, well-balanced in flavor and with a distinct savory note. Centrally located in Castiglioncello's main square, it's perfect for a delicious aperitivo in the heart of town. Good selection of wines and sparkling wines.
