29/06/2025: I have been going to this pastry shop for 20 years, on weekends that I spend in Vada. Leaving aside the general lack of cleanliness of the place (dirty windows, ashtrays full of cigarette butts,...) and the general anarchy in fulfilling coffee orders, reluctantly, for a year now, I have noticed a vertical drop in the quality of the pastry shop, so much so that I have stopped coming here. Too bad.

26/06/2025: There are no allergens on the menu, so I asked how the sauce was made, but the guy who served us didn't know... he involved his colleague who didn't want to tell me... despite the legal requirement to indicate the ingredients for many people who suffer from intolerances or allergies. Fingers crossed that I don't get sick tonight. Overcooked rice!

12/04/2025: Disappointing experience. We went to this restaurant and unfortunately the overall impression was very bad. The bathroom was dirty and the drain didn't work, this in itself says a lot about the care of the place. Outside there isn't even a menu displayed and the place has a neglected, almost abandoned look. There were four of us, but they only brought us three glasses. When they finally gave us the menu, we immediately noticed some inconsistencies: some courses were available in one menu and absent in another. I wanted a pizza, but I was told that they only do it in the evening – too bad this information is not written anywhere. I order a plate of penne with ragù, but I am told that it is not available. After another 10 minutes, the waitress returns to the table to inform us that another dish ordered by a friend of mine is also no longer available, forcing him to change. In short, poor organization, little clarity and zero attention to the customer. We certainly won't be returning.

13/04/2025: Petit restaurant qui ne paye pas de mine de l’extérieur mais il vaut le détour. On peut manger sur place ou prendre des plats à emporter et tout est avec du poisson ou crustacés. Bon rapport qualité prix.

04/06/2025: Good morning, we went to this restaurant last night, the fish was not good at all and the service left much to be desired. The starter was disappointing racket, spaghetti carbonara with seafood was salty, fish was tasteless and with cream. To finish, the fried fish with chips was really horrible, with calamari ok but the prawns, 2 in number, were not good. Not recommended at least for the fish.

02/06/2025: It's 2025, and with all the celiac people out there, I find it really unacceptable that a restaurant doesn't even keep two slices of gluten-free bread in the freezer. Let's not talk about some strange request: just a little attention for those who have a real dietary need. The worst thing? The attitude. Asking for gluten-free bread almost seemed like a personal insult: eyes rolling, crooked faces... as if we had asked for a €200 discount. An unpleasant and humiliating experience. A real shame. Highly not recommended for those with intolerances or simply expecting a minimum of sensitivity.

02/06/2025: Embarrassing evening, how they manage to stay open is inexplicable, table prepared 1 hour after the reservation, wine arrived after the courses, ALL the fish starters were missing (and we were informed after ordering) we had to change 3 wine choices because this too had run out and we were told after ordering Disgusting beyond belief

01/06/2025: Unfortunately a disappointing experience: 45 minutes of waiting just to receive a bottle of water and to be able to order, even though the place was far from crowded. The food was of poor quality. I am sorry to leave a negative review, but I want to highlight the commitment of the young guys who work there, who did their best in the service.

01/06/2025: Stamani al caffè Ginori hanno toccato il fondo , sono andata con un’amica a fare colazione oltre che ad avere tutte paste congelate ( fanno schifo) 2 cappuccini e 2 paste 1 € in più rispetto al bar Portovecchio che di per sé non regala ma ti fa scegliere tra paste congelate e di pasticceria . Caffè Ginori sconsigliatissimo per colazioni dolci . Resta buono il caffè espresso .

23/05/2025: Locale storico nella piazza centrale di castiglioncello, ampi spazi all’aperto dove fare un aperitivo. Abbiamo provato il negroni antica ricetta che promuoviamo a pieni voti Peccato per la quantità degli snack in accompagnamento che è parsa molto risicata
